Brighty And that is why I was delighted with the verdict. I simply knew siege mentality and end product would come forth. Forth and the fourth goal was my favourite lol. The dinked curling cross with Klich looking up and a diving slightly twisting Tyro to score and when the game was safe. We have always been made of stern stuff and Yorkshire grit. Keep Tyler on bench and introduce him after hour works for me. Hoping also for a Seagulls relegation so we have more pulling power with Benjamin. Long live Leeds ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿ’™.

Good post George

. and is that a Georgie prediction that has actually happened. well that's a first ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 20:01:04
Delighted with verdict? Are you talking about Casillas ban? If so George thatโ€™s an unbelievably bad thing to say.,

Agree7 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 20:29:13
Corky whilst I did not like the FA verdict at all because I believe Kiko is innocent.

. if indeed one of the consequences of this seeming injustice is that it spurs the Leeds team on to better results due to a siege mentality to which Georgey alludes then that there is a considerable silver lining.

. but of course there is still the issue of Kiko's reputation being unfairly tarnished.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 22:36:58
Donโ€™t think the Kiko verdict was anything to do with that result at al George, so youโ€™re clutching at fingers, to form a fake hand, to pat your own back, for talking tosh.
Keep trying tho.

Agree6 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 22:39:04
i can see what you are saying george bout the mentality and i agree. from the leeds players themselves they have said belisa is not amotivator he is 'akward' distant but after forest belisa didn't do video review but instead gave a motivational speech and now kiko ban seems to of evelated that. wise did it the bloke was tatcially useless but made leeds an us against them and it worked well.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 23:03:05
Bright I disagree with your opinion as I do on most stuff. You think it a coincidence. I do not. I believe it was the biggest away win for us in a decade. One thing I know about my club is if you turn them into the wounded warrior they turn on the style. Minus 15 case in point. Therefore if Casilla is the sacrificial lamb then so be it. As long as Leeds get promotion and win league would be nice. All I care about. Is that so reprehensible? I only see good things. 1. Cloud no longer hanging over Kiko. He gets closure. Not a great verdict for him personally but a learning experience. 2. Meslier who I believe is sheer class plays. 3. Players rally around and do it for Kiko if no-one else.
Corky Yes, I'm still delighted. I don't wish ill will on our own goalkeeper nor any Leeds player but I only see the good in this. We're a business after all and I see it like a businessman. Facing a Bielsaball Leeds going for promotion with a bee in bonnet isn't a particularly nice prospect for any opposition. Good! You add blood, guts, anger and twitchy aggression to this team and they'll produce. FL just handed it all on a silver platter.
Berm I believe Meslier could be our best goalkeeper since Nigel I mean John Lukic ๐Ÿ˜‚.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 23:49:59
George I was kind of with you until you mention sir John lukic I think the young lad is good but lukic was a Demi god.

Agree1 Disagree0

02 Mar 2020 08:41:18
A load of people were asking for Kiko to be dropped recently and Meslier in the team so if nothing else the ban has delivered that. For Meslier a change to prove his class and make the #1 Jersey his own (figuratively speaking) . It will be interesting to see how good the lad really is over a period of games.

Agree3 Disagree0

02 Mar 2020 08:45:42
Weโ€™d won three on the bounce, and you think we won a fourth because Kiko got banned?
We were terrible in the first half. Is that the sign of a team rallying around to back a team mate? No. MB clearly had words at half time, and things then clicked, as it has so often this season. They are the only points Iโ€™m making.
Of course, the only thing we all want for MY club (๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜‚) at the end of this season is promotion, same as everyone on here, whether you agree or disagree with some of our / their opinions from time to time, or all of the time.
Unlike you, I donโ€™t tho believe that itโ€™s Kikoโ€™s suspension that will secure it.

Agree3 Disagree0

02 Mar 2020 10:03:07
Think a lot on here have been saying fora long while that one day we would punish some one and score big, it just happened so well done all you oracles. Not sure Kiko ban had a lot to do with it, sure it will have been in the lads minds but first half suggested they were not thinking too much about it. Meslier top class keeper.

Agree2 Disagree0

02 Mar 2020 16:19:14
bright i disagree about us being awful first half. best we played in ages we was direct. it was a different way of playing.

it was our directness in first half that had them second guessing as oppose to knowing what leeds will do and being compact. it streached the game and made space.

we should be more awful and direct more often. allow for a few more spankings to other teams.

Bielsa. In my humble opinion, his ethics, values and morals have transformed our club. Bought hope where there was despair, expectation where there was frustration. The foundations and opportunity he has bought us are priceless, a light in a dim world and a thoroughly decent human being by all accounts. I for one am thankful he chose to embrace us. Ask yourself, how many championship clubs would wish to be in our position. Smile and wave siblings, smile and wave, UTW and DTP.

well corky i am not one for learning am i?

i love belisa ethicts, i love the fine that he paid, i think he is crazy and leed are crazy so a goo fit.

for the record i still think belisa is full of faults and there is still a lot i would change. however at the moment he is doing the job of getting us up. its the weakest this league has been for years and that helps, the players are great that helps. but despite my veiws he could be the man to get us up. and that i love.

Bielsa imo is one of the top 5/ 6 managers in the world - we are lucky to have him. Not sure if we have ever in our history had a manager of higher calibre. Regardless of the end result, we will forever look back at this period and thank the stars we were alive to enjoy it.

One to tell your grandkids about (or for a fair few posters on here, great grandkids ;) )

Indeed OMG . that's the one we all want to see

. something akin to Chapman's header against Bournemouth in 1990 that took us up . but thus time way before the final game of the season please.

Agree3 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 20:16:45
Corky . I think BW is assuming and like me hoping that vile Villa get relegated this season ( they are currently one from bottom)

. and obviously hoping that Leeds are promoted

Thus given that wonderful scenario outcome Leeds will not play Villa as BW rightly hopes.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 21:04:46
Strike that previous comment from moi I just noticed that Aus is talking about De Gea so Man U ( not Villa )

By the way maybe it's the conspiracy theorist in me but it looked ( almost) as if De gea deliberately waited until he was closed down and then deliberately booted it against the Everton player . maybe De Gea is trying to engineer a move away from the Theatre of Nightmares given his many dodgy mistakes.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 22:44:53
you are right of course bazooka, in my post i am assuming villa go down and we go up. but of course corky has made his mind up about me and would jump on me and assume the wrong assumption. even when i'm positive i can't do right can i corky?

Just watching the loop of Tylerโ€™s first goal yesterday, (Leeds United on Instagram) itโ€™s a ridiculously good team goal. When we play like that, well, Iโ€™ve not seen any other team in this league score a goal like that this year.

Agree2 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 18:45:37
Couple of great assists from Klich for Roberts yesterday - perfectly weighted pass that just said put your laces through that and a delightfully flighted cross that shouted go on Tyro get your head on that one son. And Tyro obliged perfectly Seemed like the two of them had been playing together for years.

Even so, I'd agree that Bambam should start, to help subdue the opposition - then cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war to plunder a few more goals.

Agree1 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 19:12:46
BW just a tad curious .

how much constant stick do you get as a Bermondsey lad with all your mates being Millwall that you are a
Leeds fan not a Millwall fan .?

And are the Wall your second team? ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š.

Agree0 Disagree0

01 Mar 2020 20:30:14
get it all the time

off of mates i can get maybe 100 messages when they beat us and pictures of leeds crumble etc. it is always joking

off of strangers i get it alot, just today i had a stranger outside kfc in sidcup shout out long way from home then hear my accent and start talking to me, mainly it is banter and all freindly, but i have over the years been spat out, shouted out and got into a number of fights verbal and physical with strangers for wearing a leeds shirt.

i don't have a second team but i do have a warm affection for orient due to my play and as a proud londoner i like all the london clubs other than arsenal who i hate with a burning passion (they just need to sign phillips to finish me off! )

as an actor my plays are all about bermondsey and I am very much touted as 'a leading light in working class and south london theatre' and 'a true south london voice' so i'm a bit of a walking contradicition. deep down i would love for leeds and wall to get promoted but that ain't happening so f'@k millwall and up super leeds!

In the reverse fixtures of our remaining 10 matches we amassed 17 points. The same would get us 85 points. Even though I think we will get more, I also think this would be enough, as long as we don't lose against Fulham.

How nice to watch last 15 min of a game in a relaxed mood, so nice to score 4.
Also 4th clean sheet and next 3 of 4 games at home.
Nice that brom lost and brentford drew, thought West Brom were gone a few games ago, but this league is crazy.
Pity Fulham won't go away, could make our game against them a real 6 pointer.
Pity bamford can't score, confidence is low and thought yesterday, that he struggled to even hold up the forward balls, felt he was ineffective. Great sub to bring on Roberts and needs to keep injury free for run in.
I think I would start with bamford again and have Roberts for 2nd half.
Lastly, well done Meslier, a few nervous stray balls out but great at coming and collecting balls into box.
A week for beilsa to look other Huddersfield and exploit weaknesses.

At times we were brilliant yesterday. Fantastic football.
I was running around the lounge shouting and fist pumping. Great performance.
The only negative was Bamford. I thought he was useless yesterday. Sometimes he plays well but dosent score. Yesterday he was crap.
I think subbing him early shows biesla is losing patience. I donโ€™t expect him to start bam against hudds.
