great feedback from todays match, sounded like a good display with deserved win and great atmosphere? took my youngest on deepdale (he's pne) , villa were awful and mcflytipper missed a penalty! happy days at degsy towers! MOT.

Great atmosphere! can't say it was a deserved win, as Barnsley played equally well. if I'm honest a dare was probably a fairer result for both teams.

I listened to the Eddie Gray commentary- like listening to a funeral. His sniffing is also annoying. Stopped listening to The Whelan channel as it kept going for ad breaks.

A well deserved 3 points today but us the fans were put through the ringer in those last 15mins. Why did Monk have to make those 3 substitutions? I personally felt it was unnecessary.
Sako seems to be always the first to go can't he play for the full 90mins? We've yet to see him complete a full game. I thought the ref would have been better suited to refing at headingly with all the fouls he let go; admittedly he didn't favour either side.

Rather than tactical or necessarily fitness, I think it's about being loyal to the subs and giving them some game time. No harm in that.

I get what you are saying but the subs disrupted the team and the formation kept changing to suit the substitutions which further disrupted us. We went from a 4-2-3-1 to a 4-4-2 to 4-3-3. This pushed us further back and allow Barnsley to push forward. I suppose the end justified the means but I personally struggle with the notion of pre-determined substitutions as it makes us predictable and does not always reflect performance and energy levels of those being substituted.

On the way home from the match. got to say what a game! such an improvement from last year. all players worked their socks off and thought Phillips was outstanding!
To be fair thought Barnsley were equally good!
Thought ref was awful, a blatant penalty and red card, but it doesn't matter in the end!

Morning all, went on as a gold member on the dot of 10.30 yesterday to by tickets for the Erb County game (last time I went the D and Y had fallen off) , waited for 10 minutes kept saying could only purchase with Gold Membership, which I have, logged back in then said sold out. Does anyone know if they will release more tickets to Leeds as there are lots of tickets for sale on Derby website? I know Leeds have improved, but not enough to want to sit with the home fans!
