I'm excited about seeing who these players are that we are getting. Warnock has said ones agreed and there are 2 others who have said they want to come...should be interesting. Any thoughts as to who they are?

A CVA is not the same as IVA. If we get promoted within 10 years from the agreed CVA then we will have to pay (from memory) 30p in the £. Also if it is proven that Papa Smurf acted illegally in setting up various companies then he will have to stump up some big dosh relating to the debt of the company before winding it up. Big bucks

Leeds should go for Jason Shackell. He is the best CB in the league by miles. Also we should bring back Max. He hasnt had the best of season's in France and everyone at Leeds would welcome him back no doubt. He is extremely fast and would easily do as well as sinclair and dyer in the prem. Bamba would be a good signing as he has international level experience. Or Pearce from pompey as he wouldnt cost much as they need any money they can get. I can definitely see Kenny coming to Leeds aswell with his links with Warnock. We should also sign Robinson, and a good right back. Maybe Lichaj as he is quality. Also a CM who is a battler maybe Nicky Bailey as Middlesborough are thought to be signing Leadbitter or Paul Green. Wouldnt mind Beckford up front as well or maybe rodriguez from Burnley.

Also keep White, Lees, Nunez, Becchio, Somma, Thompson, Brown, Cairns, Connolly, Lonergan, maybe Kisnorbo and bring a few of the youth team through such as Poleon, Gimpel, Payne as they are doing unbelievable in the youth league. Also could send the Turner twins, Charlie Taylor and Joe McCann on loan for some experience in League 1 or 2. O'Brien could take a coaching role.
That would get the squad down to around 24-25 players and also getting rid of all the dead wood like Parker, Varynen, Forsell, Bromby, Sam, O'Dea, Pugh and Webber. That would be around 12 mil in wages. Plus around 10 million in transfer fees. We'd probably make around 15 mil off tickets because the stadium would be full every week to watch a team like that. Shirt sales with names on the back would go up with the quality players signed. So Bates wouldnt actually end up spending more than 5 mil. That team would definitely get promoted. And would barely need any changes when we go up. As they say you need to spend money to make money.

10m in transfer fees? Where's this money going to come from? The players we'll get rid of aren't worth 10m, and a percentage of season ticket sales for the next few seasons is paying back the debt for our marvelous east stand.
Also Lichaj is getting games at Villa, Rodriguez is attracting Premiership teams and Beckford would be far too much money. You might aswell put next seasons team as:

O'Dea has been sent back to Celtic. N.W. has informed him he is not in his plans and has played his last game for Leeds. Dreadful player and this is the best decision N.W. has carried out since he came to Leeds
He's better or worse than O'BRIEN BROMBY BRUCE all of who will be released. so i would presume we are due a totally new CB pairing ,and of the evidence of the defending in our last two seasons it is most welcome.
O'Dea has been the best centre back we've had all season. Unfortunately for him, that just wasn't good enough for Mr. Warnock.
I would feel very sorry for O'dea if it was his disciplinary record alone that made Neil's mind up on him as any defender worth his salt should put himself on the line constantly. Anyone remember Mel Sterland and how he used to play at right back? Though that was in the days when referees weren't so card happy.
I think he wanted to be guaranteed first team, and Warnock has other players in mind for that.
Mel Sterland is my 2nd fav Leeds player, behind Tony Yeboah!!

I heard on bbc radio leeds this morning that warnock isnt offering o'dea a contract! In my eyes that means he has got a cb lined up who is better! S.T.W
I should hope that by next season he'll have 3 or 4 who are better. It's not like we have a good back 4 is it?!

Warnock on Yorkshire Radio this morning has said that Darren O'Dea has played his last game for the club after his sending off against Blackpool. Leeds are not interested in making a permanent move.
I think this definitely shows Warnock's intent to really shape the squad his way, a couple of new CB's on the cards! I'm hoping for Pearce & Chambers!

I think what we need to do is sign a minder for Clayton, that way he can do all his creative passing and stuff, then the other player can do the aerial battles etc. ala kilkenny and Johnson, only better!
