What's all the talk, especially on the Rumours site, that if we lose against Barnsley then Rockbottom will be sacked? :-) Attract the best manager and pay what he needs, reduce the existing squad, get in the experienced players and we have a chance for next year. Remember Hockaday. a crap manager (allegedly) means a crap team! What was his go-away package? He's Head of Male football at South Gloustershire and Stroud College now! WOW!

Celtic have already confirmed. that they will allow Arsenal to talk to Brendan Rodgers. Why haven't we been so quick off the mark about giving permission to speak to Hecky? We really are our own worst enemies!

Hecky will be sacked after we lose tomorrow and Arsene will be announced on Sunday. That's why he had to announce his departure today. It's fitting we have another Arse (ne) joining the club. He should fit in well.

Hi Ed. The bet was a Trixie and from the £40 total stake I walked away with £300 even though leeds lost. If they’ve have won then I could have been on a yacht around the Caribbean

Arsene Wenger announces he is stepping down. Gives time for Arsenal to find replacement. The more likely scenario is that he has realised Heckingbottom is working on a knife edge and if he plays his cards right he could take over from him at Leeds in the Summer. Out of the frying pan .

totally agree that Pep's season has been a failure - with the money spent the league should have been a formality but to fail in the Champs league and to be knocked out of the FA cup by Wigan is a bit of an embarrassing return for 500 million quid

thse lines aren't even staight if you look at the direction they go compared with the edge of the penalty box - its like my sawing with the penalty box line where i was supposed to cut and the yellow line where it generally ends up.
