Couldn't really get a worse start to season.
Was hoping for an easy enough on paper start as we normally hit the ground running and could blow most sides away. Just hoping first match doesn't hit confidence as I fully expect a defeat even with my positivity.

Playing one of the middle/ bottom teams and possiblity not getting a win would be worse.
Get hammered-at least we know the difference between good in the championship and great in the Premier League
Close Defeat-Leeds are going to be a tough team for everybody this season.
Draw- Leeds are going to be one to watch this season
Win - Everybody sits up and takes notice MOT.

Rather be playing Liverpool as a first game, there’s a chance we may catch them out being the first game. Who knows?

Love my Leeds but the thought of cooper and strujk against mane firminho and salah worried me slightly but I'm sure we will be fine.

Good thing is we won't have to play against them 3 every week but your right to be worried but our attack is best form of defence with bielsa ball anyways, I live in hope MOT.

Couldn't be a better first game as far as I'm concerned.
Leeds players will be sooooo up for this (after all this is what all the hard work was about last year) .
Sure, we can definitely say goodbye to our fingernails but this is what we've missed.
I guarantee you that Klopp would have wanted any team apart from us first game.
That said, I will be watching it behind a pillow.
Interesting fact though, Leeds are unbeaten in their opening game in the Premier League (Won5, Drawn7) .
Add to that, we were really good after the Barnsley game and Liverpool kind of staggered over the finishing line by their very high standards MOT.

It seems to me certain clubs transfer policies are as simple as waiting to see what we want and then going for those players as well. They're using Leeds as their scouts. Pathetic clubs with pathetic "ambition".
