I beginning to think that our players suffer from stage fright and can't handle playing in front of 30,000 fans. Then again, that wouldn't explain our away results ;-P

Not stage fright just too many of them are s***e

I bet you were not saying they were $#! t3 after the first 7 games of the season, I wasn't being serious, just trying to figure out what has gone wrong LOL

Won't be a problem soon then, when the crowds drop into the teens.

Jay, no I didn't but maybe I should be saying too many don't care!

Always makes me smile when I see posts on sites relating to Leeds United targets. Mostly the posters claim that he will "guarantee promotion", be a "no brainer", be "just what we need", "electrifying pace", "big signing" or other such pronouncements. On a player that up until the day before they have never even heard of. The best they can do is view a 30 second video on You Tube. If you can't get 30 good seconds from a 2/3 year career then there is something seriously wrong.

Maybe that is where Orta is going wrong.

Can't believe you got thumbed down. It's beyond me why people can't see when someone's trying to lighten the mood on here. I gave you thumbs up tory. Funny reply

Personally, not a fan of the whole thumb thing, spesh when it can be rigged.

I get lots of thumbs down, but i just realised that they are wrong lol.

21 Mar 2018 14:12:25
a thumbs down would be a thumbs up down under wouldn't it? I think people are just being respectful to your location Aus.

Just a question to anyone who watched the U23s. How did O'Connor and Struijk look?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

20 Mar 2018 19:31:01
I'll be honest Leodis, I didn't really pay much attention to those at the back, and there was no sound or commentary on my feed, so I was really just looking at our attacking play, so can't really comment more than I have already!

another win for the u23s last night this time against high flying Ipswich. Maybe there is something in this 'one for the future' business after all?

Believable5 Unbelievable1

20 Mar 2018 15:18:14
If the future's tomorrow Alf, I am with you.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 15:30:51
Are we adding the "future is now " name of Dalby to the list.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 17:19:17
There were a lot of positives from the lads last night, but there is a massive gulf between that level, and the championship. The game was very open, and free flowing, which was entertaining, but not like the mayhem and hustle of the league. I'd bring Dalby into the training squad for experience, but not yet into the matchday squad.

I know I will get crap for saying this but I think Ekuban may be ok long term? I like his movement and has pace, feel he needs to score as lacking the confidence and more may come, SORRY! It still confuses me why O'kane getting games, don't rate him and PH doesn't seem to rate veira. Great worked free kick and YES Ekuban has to put that away

At what age do you think eukaban can score a goal for us. I've not seen him come close. Dump him.

20 Mar 2018 09:32:17
He's just another Sacko no composure you get what you pay for

Agree5 Disagree1

20 Mar 2018 10:09:18
No worries Shadwell, you have my jinxed agreement! His work all over the park is spot on, he's just nervous and snatching in front of goal. if one bounces in off his arse, I'm sure the relief will help him step up.

20 Mar 2018 11:01:39
Pace isn't everything. Teddy Sherringham was slow but new were the net was

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 11:12:16
He needs loaning out to League 2 to get some confidence. If he's still struggling there, then I'd agree he isn't good enough.

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 13:59:46
I don't think hrs a natural finisher, good work ethic but no end product so unfortunately for me I'd try Dalby there. Like I said before what's the worst that could happen?

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 14:23:28
He has been out for a long time and has low confidence but he is getting into the positions and snatching at his shots a bit. I reckon if he takes his time and gets his first league goal for us it will reduce his nerves and he will come good. he had 2 clear chances on Saturday to score and wasted them but if he had been more composed they would have been in the onion bag. I think he just needs to score to get the monkey off his back.

20 Mar 2018 14:24:12
Dalby bagged another 2 last night as well Martyn so why not? Grot and Dalby to lead the line?

Agree3 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 14:46:26
Would 2 big men work? There both in excess of 6 foot 3"

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 14:51:28
If lassoga had missed 2 like that alf we would have been screeming for him to be hung by his scrote sack and sent back to Germany. Poss ok as a back up striker or an injection of pace late on. What's his crossing like? Would he be a better winger? What's his tackling like? What about a pacey fullback? He's defo not a out and out NO:9

Agree1 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 15:04:33
Ekuban is paid to score goals that is his primary job he's not paid to huff n puff all over the pitch with no end product, no club wants a striker that doesn't score goals end of.

Agree3 Disagree1

20 Mar 2018 15:38:59
Definitely, like some others, needs looking at further. The rest of the season seems appropriate. If he doesn't get prolific either get rid or more likely ship him out to a L1/L2 side with the express instructions. Calm down, get greedy, score goals. Should be an interesting summer with Grot, Ekuban, Roberts, Clarke, Dalby all coveting that strikers role. Maybe even A. N. Other?

Agree2 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 19:36:26
I'm certainly going to try and link into the rest of the U23 games. there is some serious potential in there. lots of loans out next season for experience, as there are too many to get sufficient game time with the development squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

20 Mar 2018 20:51:50
Teddy slow. I bet he was faster than you Mart. Joke by the way big man!

Agree1 Disagree2

21 Mar 2018 08:26:09
Lasogga is in a different place in his career though Martyn and has already scored a decent number in the Championship so apples and pears. Ekuban got nearly a goal every other game for his last club and while the Algerian league is not the Championship it shows he has got the ability to find the net. I’d be more worried if he wasn’t finding space and opportunities than that he has snatched at a few chances. Patience my friend.

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Mar 2018 16:02:36
I agree with the patience bit Alf but just where I am not too sure. It depends on what Hecky sees on the training ground. If he is banging them in in training then keep him around, he will come good but if he having stage fright in training then maybe he needs a season in L1. Otherwise Plan C which is to let him do the running and chasing for more of a goalscorer/poacher partner.
