Pity about white but move on and address or will get spanked by Liverpool.
Not heard much on Koch but people seem to rate and is tall, could help.
Bit underwhelmed with Kent link, not done too much in a poor league, would much prefer Benrahma.
Also Eze link gone cold, need a creative MF player and he looks good, maybe a bit lazy for beilsa.
Hoping bamford not our only option up top on 12th, time is going by fast.

I think he could be an asset at Bielsa ball personally. He has an engine, he’s big, strong fast and physical, and scored a worldy of a goal from his own peno area before the season abruptly stopped. Still in contact with a lot of the current squad too!

Don't think any of the newspaper headlines about players we are supposed to be in for will have a great deal of fact in them in relation to transfer fees or contracts.
There maybe an element of truth in the rumours but this will most likely come from agents or selling clubs trying to create a bidding war for their player and so increase their fees. Or just using an association with Leeds to put a player in the shop window.
Most of our deals are done out of the public eye.
From what we have seen of Rads he appears to be prudent with funds. Always using the price of the total deal including wages, add ons, bonuses rather than the actual transfer fee figure which is always a lot less.

Been lucky enough to be at ellend Road today. Heck of a lot of work being done. New drainage around the outside of the pitch. Pl have said we need to move the platforms for the cameras as it's not good enough for them. Also the dug out isn't allowed to be lower than the pitch so that's being raised. Plus the presenters box is too small so that's being widened. From what I've seen these changes will lose a few seating for these to work. With only a few weeks left lots to do there.

Cook played well prior to his recent injury and has Premier league experience. He also knows the club. If the price is right could be a decent addition.

Promoted as champions but yet still no serious transfer business, well not what we need, I'm guessing everyone agrees 2 cd, 1 striker, 1 playmaker, yet today we bid 10 mill for Kent, really, seriously, a winger, 5 to 10 mill more for Wilson who has prem experience.
Funny feeling I get is our chairman is trying to do it on the cheap AGAIN, the joke is he was the 1 talking cavanni, etc etc and european football,
White saga also a joke, bid, if not excepted walk away

Why have they even bid again for Ryan Kent? , the guy clearly preferred anf chose Rangers over Leeds United last summer transfer window.
Granted Leeds are now a Premier League side but Rangers don't want to sell and the player seems more than happy there ABC not interested in joining Leeds.
Leeds appear somewhat illogically trying to sign players whose clubs don't want to sell so unless they make ' ridiculous' ( nudge nudge wink wink Brockley 🥴) transfer fees offers this transfer strategy appears to be a foolhardy,
ineffective, waste of time.

My patience is beginning to fray at the edges with how this window is being handled by the regime . Our season effectively finished on 17/ 7 when Hudders defeated Brom . Our targets should all have been in place, negotiated, lined up and signed by now getting Bielsa fit . I understand the short turnaround and the the virus affected market making things tougher . But there are no excuses . Everything I see and read tells me that the regime has learnt very little from past failings in previous windows . Over negotiating, trying to be too damned clever and naive about how realistic certain targets are . DJ and Che Adams revisited . I don't care that few other teams have strengthened so far . I only care about Leeds Utd . Most of those other teams already have deep premier league squads . As it stands we start our first season back in the prem with one recognised striker and one recognised centre back . Now I know MB works miracles but that's ridiculous by any standards .

Think the chase for White has been a distraction, time we got on a strengthened the team for the challenge ahead. We have money in the transfer pot supposedly? . Yes we had a good team spirit and did well to win the championship, but we need to strengthen or we will be back down like Huddersfield. We will lose heavily will this team at Liverpool, hate saying it but our squad isn't strong enough yet! Cut the BS, sign some quality players.

Love it or hate it this is the way Leeds United do things. Yes I know it beggars belief and it defies logical thinking but if history has taught us anything - Leeds are Last Minute. com. I too am frustrated but the one thing in their favour is that every week a new name is released who is well worth looking at. I am also of the opinion that we have spent far too long on the distraction of Ben White. Enough is enough, accept defeat and move on. I love the man but STOP throwing money at Brighton. Use it constructively elsewhere.

Is it really 'the Leeds United way' though or the 'Victor Orta / Andrea Rasz / Angus Kinnear Way '? THE LATTER .
. seem to recall that Leeds United made their signings quickly abd efficiently under previous Leeds United ownerships of Leslie Silver, Manny Cussins, Peter Ridsdale etc
The ridiculosnous of the DJ. and CA ( JKA) . transfer fiasco is being repeated by the BW transfer fiasco.
Move on abd sign some available players.
Offer them good salaries so that actually do. sign Radz. If and when. QSI take over you. will not see this bs ineptitude in signing. quality players.

Our problem is the window is much longer this year . Clubs
with deeper squads than ours can afford to take their time and wait for selling clubs to get more realistic on their valuations especially given the virus . Brentford for example with no fans at games until at least October are going to have to sell two or three players to comply with FFP rules and will have to come down from their combined £55m for Watkins and Benrahma . But can we afford to wait especially given how long it takes players to get Bielsa ready?!

Brockley completely wrong there were no ' ridiculous prices ' under tbe Ridsdale era maybe slightly too much for certain players
But most of the transfer fees paid under theRidsdale era were very reasonable £6 million for Viduka, £5 million for Bridges £4.5 million for Batty even £18 million for Ferdinand was good business with a £14 million profit . only Seth Johnson and his wages was a complete waste of money
. Ridsdale signed TOO MANY players that was the issue.

Corky, I actually think the first game is a brilliant game to start the season. Great season opener, premiership winners vs championship! Think the first game is a good game to take them on. Also really pleased for our players. What an experience to be able to walk out at Anfield, one of the most symbolic stadiums in the world for me. Real reminder of what they have achieved. Nothing to lose for me, everyone will have it down as a home win, Bielsa will love it, first game in the preM, at Anfield and against the champions and Klopp! The stuff of dreams! Let's get at em and play our stuff and see what happens!
