To the fella who said this in reply to the Bradford + Grella link:

"The reason the move was called off was because Grella couldn't play for 3 clubs in the same season"

Not that I'm saying there is any truth in the Bratford link, but this line from the official Leeds website suggests there are ways around this rule:

"The player will return to Leeds who will seek to find a new club in England to allow him the opportunity to benefit from regular first team football."

Hope he finds a club to play for because he deserves better than sitting on our bench. Possibly back to Carlisle?

Motherwell have bolstered their attacking options with the capture of Leeds' Mike Grella on loan for the rest of the season.

Grella has enjoyed a spell with Carlisle United this term, scoring three goals in 10 League One appearances.

With competition for places in Leeds' starting XI fierce, Grella will now continue to accrue first-team experience with the Fir Park outfit.

Motherwell were on the lookout for a new striker after loanee Nick Blackman opted to join rivals Aberdeen from Blackburn until the summer.

The American striker is now in line to make his SPL debut for Well in Saturday's clash against struggling Hibs at Fir Park.

"The loan spell clearly did Mike good and this is another opportunity for him, " manager Simon Grayson told Leeds' official website.

"Opportunities for him have been limited here with the players we have and this will be beneficial to all concerned.

"The SPL is a good standard and hopefully he will continue to get games and gain in experience."
