I love the fact that these same players always seem to bump into people who post on here, if we r honest none of us know what is going on, and id your a player with half a brain cell you wouldnt go telling random people outside chip shops and in taxis what you are doing, dont get me wrong i enjoy the stories, but when something happens we will all know a the same time, so lets sit tight and keep everything crossed!

Leeds need a Vaz Te/Gradel style player back in the team. It was very much noticed last season we lacked pace in our attacks, so counter attacks against bigger teams were foiled rather quickly. Snodgrass is a quality dead ball specialist, and can cross and dribble well, which in turn gave Becchio his areal balls to attack, however he is ultimately too slow to receive long balls over the defence, something in which Max Gradel revelled in the previous season, and he kind of made up for Snoody's pace (or lack of it). White can play this role, but as we have seen he is way too weak and poor in front of goal when it comes down to it (personally wouldn't be too upset to see him leave). McCormack can finish, but once again does lack the legs. Our other remaining wide player Pugh. Well despite being a utility player that can play LB LM or CM if needed just didn't do well enough last season in my eyes for a 'premiership player'. I dunno just my opinion or one shared with others?

Rogers has been very unlucky knocked out in his first game and then cracked ankle in next game . he looked sharp and very positive while he was on the field and would be first choice but need backup incase he gets injured .

Having a protest march when Bates was in Monaco was a joke and the only thing it did (according to Snoddy) was affect the players in a negative way. if Leeds had been winning games and going for promotion would they still be demonstrating? Hi Ed, the message now that things are moving along nicely with very good experiened solid signings is this, Snoddy, McCormack, White and anybody else who is stalling on signing new contracts, sod off we do not need greedy individuals here at Leeds, we are now getting good hungry players that will give us blood every game. Its a disgrace that these players think they are bigger than us, well your not, so sign or go. This team will be very hard to beat this season, i have posted several times that NW knows what players he wants, this team i predict will concede fewer goals in this league than anyone, this is my bet for all Leeds fans get down to William Hills NOW. But seriously we deserve a team that gives us the supporters everything, Leeds reputation is hard aggresive, desire, blood and guts, results come from this. There is no bigger club in this league and no bigger or better support. Kevin Leeds 50 years.
I think that you have to wait and give these guys time to make their minds up, it is only the past two days where we have actually seen any real proof that Leeds DO have the ambition to rebuild the team and mount a serious attempt on promotion this year. I don't think these players will make their mind up still, though, until we start buying some more quality players (and I am not knocking those we already have got) after 1st July when contracts run out....

I dont fault the ambition or the support the club has from the LUST but lets face it, they know naff all about business, they wouldnt have a scooby doo how to run Leeds United, no offence to any LUST members who might read this
Get your facts right. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried. LUST engineered the potential takeover without which we'll be in real trouble financially. It was Bates that put us into administration in the first place. All of the 'Bates saved us' stuff is factually inaccurate and shows no understanding of how business and insolvency procedures work. Sadly, this is a complex area outside the experience of most fans who simply don't understand the process and many have just taken Bates's line hook, line and sinker.
If you study the administration in detail you will see there are serious flaws in the way it was handled and how Bates, having put the club under in the first place, regained control.
If you then read the post administration accounts in detail you will see that since then we have, in real terms, made significant operating losses which have been masked by player sales. Bates has wasted huge amounts of money on the ground, which we don't own, the Pavilion, Yorkshire Radio and so on at the expense of the team. If you check the accounts you will also see that, along with player sales, he has mortgaged the next two years' worth of season ticket sales to pay for it. All of this 'we won't spend money we don't have' stuff is a lie and it's a lie which is now in the public domain at Companies House. We are spending money we don't have, just not on the team, which would be a better risk. The Pavilion won't get us promoted now will it...
His worst crime of all is to divide the fans. We are no longer united as we should be and that will continue to be the case until he's gone.

OP here - not a Bates fan in the slightest, hes a dodgy so and so, hes a clever businessman and nothing else and i dont agree with the whole 'bates saved us' either, i just have my opinions on the LUST, like i said i cant fault the support because they are passionate fans who want whats best for the club as does every fan of LUFC, im just seeing it realisitcally they wouldnt know how to run LUFC properly, not saying Bates knows how to run it properly either, so the last thing i needed was a history lesson on Bates just because i said the LUST wouldnt know how to run LUFC sufficiently
But Bates isn't a clever businessman at all - his record in business is shocking. And LUST has no intention of running the club - it wants to find a group which can do so and reunite the fans, and in this it appears to be succeeding. Without LUST there would be no bid and it should be clear from last night's meeting that LUST knows exactly what is going on.
Id say buying Chelsea for a Quid and selling it on for millions isnt bad business

Ed congrats on your recent arrival, as a father of a 4 week old boy you have all my sympathy!!! its all about pro plus! However.................what is happening with regards to take over? I was actually convinced we were gonna be in the hands of a new owner but now with the new signings doesn't that kind of all change? {Ed013's Note - My gut feeling is that when the season starts, Mr Bates will still be at the club. Obviously I could be very wrong, but I can't see him selling before reaching the Premier League as he knows he will get so much more money for the club. Which in my eye's only looks to be an investment option, but I believe a lot of people would be reluctant to work with Mr Bates unless there is an agreement to hand the club other at a later date. This is all speculation and I am afraid only time will tell. Thanks for the Congrats and same to you, pro-plus is on my shopping list!}

whooo another signing being irish too im delighted with the green signing quality player at this level this man knows how to pick a pass good back four now mid-field becoming solid no one had a clue bout these signings but im not gonna be a hypocrit and start slagging cos no matter the rumours its all becoming fun guys you cant deny it whether your posting a rumour or contradicting one i bet all us fans will be here alot more frequant over the next month or so cos the excitement have to be honest more excited than i've been in over ten years! could this be the start of the awakening of the sleeping giant?? i bet alot of teams fancied playing us last season but you can be rest assured there scatchin their heads now cos i think even there starting to come to terms that we mean business this season!
