We were poor again today, what's the point in beating Arsenal away, the losing at home to Brighton.
Slow and lethargic, horrible to watch.
Going to be some really strange results this season.

Totally agree re strange results VD, however, much as we wish it isn’t the case the league will take on a more normal look as the season progresses.
And for this season mid table safety is a notable success for us both.
My philosophy this year is points are all that matters we don’t get any more points for beating Liverpool than Fulham so take the points as we can I say.
You have points in the bank so overall should be reasonably happy.
So sick of VAR though everyone keeps saying bad VAR calls even themselves out over the season but they used to say that about the officials.
I’d ditch it least the game flowed and football and not the officials and VAR was the star.

Quite like the strange results we are seeing. Could become a very open race for the European places rather than the usual suspects plus one other random team each year.

I watched the Villa game and I thought that VAR decision for the no penalty was correct, the ref would never have noticed that the Brighton player did touch the ball first. There is a difference between that clear decision and Bamford’s, of, which part of his upper arm is offside? and the arm, really! The VAR offside decisions clearly need to be redefined.
Thought Villa played well in the 1st half but switched off after conceding the 2nd goal.
Really miss Ben White, awesome defender.
