Saw that yesterday and thought the same, Wilshere also worth a pay as u play contract, like wat Newcastle gave Carroll.

Ballotelli is lazy and has a bad attitude. Really can't see the likes in a Bielsa team. He wasted his talent.

You’re right Alf, but he’s at a stage of his career, where he might just thrive under MB, for one last Hurrah. same goes for Wilshere. I’d take the gamble on them both tbh.

Wilshere could be worth a shout but I would worry his body wouldn't be able to take the Bielsa training.

With respect anyone who thinks that Leeds would be interested in those two hasn’t grasped the first concept of what Bielsa requires in a player .

Took the words out of my mouth RHC. Can not see either player having the necessary fitness levels talented as they both are.

Just wondering.
I'm not keen on the diver but he has obvious talent. If we maybe got $50 mill for Phillips would grealish be worth a punt? How much villa quote for him? Anybody know.
Or there is obviously still de Paul to consider.
I love Phillips and he is leeds thru and thru but $50 mill when we have struik and could get a really good Pablo replacement. It's worth pondering.

Interesting post Aus. Class player is Grealish and would be a perfect alternative to Pablo. However I’m not sure he has the necessary work rate to fit in. As for his diving etc I’m sure Bielsa would knock that out of him to a certain degree anyway.

Grealish is class, (and that pains me to say it) , but he wouldn't leave his boyhood club for us, sorry, A club could of offered 40 in the summer, he is worth a lot more now.

Think grealish would be the final piece in the jig saw and tbh have more chance of winning something with us than villa. If he is ambitious. He will have to leave at some point.

I love grealish and think he is a really quality player, last year he almost single handedly kept villa up and this year is doing even better. Played one game for England and got man of the match. I can't see villa letting him go for less than 80million (same as harry mugiure) he would be the perfect pablo replacement although I think Rodrigo has been earmarked for that role.

We have our own diver in the ranks. Luke Ayling has somewhat perfected the art of getting out of a tight defensive position by looking for that push (touch) in the back.

Grealish can't be that good Berm as the worlds worst defensive midfielder had him in his pocket last time we played them haha.

failing to fill that playmaker role in the summer may prove costly.

Seems Rodrigo the reserve playmaker and Roberts the reserve striker. Let’s hope Bamford fires up.

They quoted MAn U £65m with only one year left on his contract. Now it’s 5 yrs, more like £80m, so I’m sure Bictore can unearth someone equally as capable for about a quarter of that. Yes he’s a talent, but I don’t like him, and that price is a no no.

I don’t like him either. Looks like de Paul it is then.

That is an interesting one with Philips out.
Will be struik replaces him if cooper is back. If cooper not back then a bit harder to fathom. Don't think biesla will take any risks. Whichever central defender was on the bench against wolves will start if cooper not fit.
I'd just like to see Pablo start. That's what we are missing and I don't think have replaced yet. Creative midfielder like de Paul.
Pablo needs to play the first hour and then maybe try fabs through the middle.
I have been so impressed with Koch. Great signing. And to be honest Rodrigo puts the effort in. It's just unfortunate that neither him or Bamford are more prolific.

Rodrigo has been playing deeper though so will be less likely to score from that position. I would like to see him playing up front instead of Bamford and seeing what he can do.

Struijk will stay at Cb if Coops is still injured, and after the warm up collapse, I think that will be another two weeks to avoid further damage. Dallas May replace Phillips, with Gianni going LB?

Or maybe Ayling at Cb? He has filled in there before. Who in the youth team would be able to step up?

Charlie Cresswell? Maybe too soon for him?
