Mr happy put a fun banter post about best leeds team he could field at the moment and it got me thinking and I have given this some thought my best leeds team. all the these legends have worn the famous leeds shirt in my long suffering time as a fan. this team would make any team tremble. with laughter

Manager Sir David Hockaday.what a team I send a challege to find a team that good, they have to of worn the shirt since you have been a leeds fan (all of mine have been since 1996 even thought I started MOT'ing in 89, the first few years were kind if only I knew what lied ahead!)

Brilliant call only surpassed by Thomas Brolin in my opinion! Paid £3.999.999 over the odds

Paul Rachubka, a name to strike fear into any team.

I felt sorry for paynter was good in league one but injured and never really fitted in, shumomini got my vote as he was bad in the league below and for that reason only. Brolin was close but he did score 4 in his first 8 just went down hill after that. Paul Okon must be bad I don't really remember him! and sticky showing your age a bit ain't you? think some of your names were before my time

Looking forward to a good win and performance tomorrow which should provide a welcome break from the doom and gloom merchants. Rome wasn't built in a day.

Rome wasnt built in a day but didn't it pretty much fall in under a year? That said I do trust our Italian to lead us to better days

I never want us to lose but perhaps if we do we might all get a break from all the mindless optimists who seem to be in complete denial. There's a big difference between 'doom and gloom' and being a realist Mr P.

Udinise vs Cagliari! Only joking that's what I thought it may be at the beginning of season though! Will be a tough game but a real test of where we are. Nervously anticipation probably sums it up nicely.

Agree about the realisim. makes me laugh how some people post on here like they think some of us want leeds to lose. I hope we win tomorrow but if I had to put a score on it I would say 4-0 to watford. hope I am wrong but can't see us getting anything. all about being realistic with some hope. on the same note I got a lotto ticket but not expecting to be a millionaire

Sloth and Adryan, or Sloth OR Adryan - what do people think? Both sound better than most of the midfielders we have at the moment, and at only £600k for Sloth that sounds a good deal.

Adryan could very easily become our best player by a country mile. He's got bags of potential and has shown it in Brazil's youth squads. I don't know about Sloth though

Sloth was picked by the Danish FA in the star player team 12/13 so can't be that bad.

Can anybody recommend a pub in Watford, preferably full of Leeds fans, where I can have a couple of pre match pints tomorrow? MOT

We currently have 9 recognised centre midfielders and looking to bring in another 2, in the form of Adryan and Sloth, taking us to 11.

The same could be said for the guys up front, Ajose, Poleon and maybe Atenucci can double up as winger, but the rest are out and out front men (Smith, Hunt, Morison, Walters, Doukara, Sharp) so 6 strikers.

At the back we are looking balanced, in terms of numbers and positions. There may be a question of quality but the back four of Byram, 2 from Pearce, Cooper, Bellusci and Warnock on the left looks OK. Taylor, Berardi and Wooton as cover.

I understand we are looking to move a few on and am all for building a squad as we ned it to challenge for the seasons, but at present it is looking very very unbalanced and until it is built to a level where we have sufficient cover in all positions, we will be stumble along in the next few fixtures playing the diamond formation which doesn't work. Then we will have to wait for the guys to gel, so for the next 10 games I can't see us winning more than 5.

In conclusion, can we please sign some WINGERS, think of the children damn it, we need WINGERS

The Hock announced the team has been hit by a Virus! I'm not one for excuses, but could there be something in that? After all Smith, Murphy, Bianchic & Byram were that bad on Tuesday there could be something to it. OK, so I'm looking for excuses :)

been moaning on bout no.width.looked at list of released players n matthew etherington been relesed by stoke woudnt add muxh pace but could still do a job in this division.and still.without a club

Was a good winger but at 33 he won't be running at full backs for 90mins, will be the same as putting Tonge out wide IMO ;)

Good point about not being able to cover ground for 90 minutes however I think worth a shot to come off bench for 20 minutes if need a goal. offers something different and was class, not that long ago he was in line for an england call up like warnock and he has done good job for leeds why can't etherington?
