Think yesterday's result shows just how far we've come in a short time! not performance wise but overall expectations and progress. Last season, even the beginning of this scoring two away from home having not a great performance, but not getting easily beaten would have been getting towards accepted and people baying for managers! Right now we're all disappointed, but everyone is saying it's a blip, just need players back to be full strength and more importantly not really loosing any ground on the realistic teams around us at the top! No one likes loosing, but I think it's a really positive big step! MOT

Oh dear. I see now it's Aston Villa whose not the club McBadgekisser fell in love with. There'll soon be no clubs left that he fell in love with. I'll wait for someone else to suggest we get him back here on the cheap!

He's ambitious I'll give him that. he joined us because he thought we'd go up, left us for Fulham because they'd just come down thinking they'd go straight up again, same with villa. hell be playing for Sunderland, hull or the other relegated club next season.

Just seen game. got to question the decision to leave clarke and lorimer out. However we were all pretty bad today. Gave the ball away too much and seemed a bit clueless.
They played well and deserved the win and scored great free kick. Have to say though that wood fought hard today. don't think coyle should start. And douk needs a rest. Still Bad day at office and a chance to change it round quickly.

Aus, Lorimer is injured! just sitting down to watch 2nd half now as was out last night. I watched first half live and did call a loss as they were in the ascendancy.
can't comment yet but think we missed pontus, talyor is not injured but is leaving surely and cover is a must i like douk and beradri as cover but they are not first teamers, still everyone can have bad days at the office just need to make sure we don't have too many.
i thought wood was immense not just his goal but how he can hold up the ball and win a free kick 50 yards up the pitch to relieve the defence and occupy two CB's.
