The fact of the matter is NO ONE HAS GOT A CLUE.! Got tickets for mighty Leeds at Burton Albion today,its one of those landmark days in every dad's life. It will be my 6 year old sons 1st game,My son is Leeds.MOT.

Ladies and gentleman I know this is a rumour site but at the end of the day no one person on this site or anybody knows what the hell is going off. Ken bates and a few others know what is happening, I would be surprised if Neil warnock knew regarding the takeover.
Neil knows whats going on, the fact he hasn't already walked is a positive sign...

like i said i nevet had a source all i said was what was being put on t***er. common sense tells me something wil happen in next cpl week otherwise warnock would hav done one. warnock has prob lined up who he wants and wil complete all his signings as soon as takeover is complete and it must happen in next cpl week before they all come bk for trainin.

not been funny but wot player would leave leeds to go to huddersfield( mc cormack or burnley (clayton) even if there may be getting a grand or maybe two at the most when leeds still want them espeically when big things are going to happen at elland road greed over ambition

Major honest gut feeling, I have no source just my opinion. I think Leeds will get taken over before the end of the month by an American consortium, Paddys and Peltiers deals have stalled and calmed down because of it and Kenny is keeping us all on the edge of our seats via twitter. He is waiting for Leeds to get taken over so we can have the funds to buy players like Kenny and Peltier.

to be quite honest i really dont think any of us knows anythin bout whats happenin at the club! with your souces here there and everywhere i live in ireland and i bet ill find out if anything happens just the same when every1 else does when its anounced on SSN or the OS all these post bout leeds finances you'd sear they were bates right hand man! call me what ya want but the way im feelin today is just another pi**ed off leeds fan hoping for good news! irish leeds fan!

Hi everyone!! Can anyone figure this one out for me? I've just been doing some plumbing work at Bradford city stadium. As I was walking to my van I saw ken bates in the car park laughing with some suits. He looked really happy. I don't know if this means anything or if he is just visiting someone. Any body heard anything? This could be a stab in the dark but hopefully he has sold Leeds and made loads of money ( that's why he's happy) and he's looking for some more fans to annoy. Which will make him even happier.
( note to ed. how come you don't post my rumours. I think it was late December I posted that I saw Fabian Delph at Elland road but you never put it on the site. A few weeks after he signed on loan. Don't think the ice rink is anything to do with us other than our future neighbour. We dont own elland road, ( the street) and anyone can buy land get planning permission and build something there if they so desire with it being nothing to do with leeds united.
Its going to be located on Elland Rd - not part of Leeds United portfolio as I read it.
It is the council building the ice rink on council owned land. nothing to do with Bates. JD

Not being funny, but Ross McCormack, the good player that he is, isn't fanstastic is he? He didnt get picked for Scotland squad and we saw towards the end of last season that he gives up and beats himself up after a lost ball too much.
When Ross was with Cardiff he was O.K but nothing special. Would have him back but again as a squad player only.

We have to be realistic, players are just employees at the end of the day, as we all are. Which one of us wouldn't go to work elsewhere if there was more pay? This doesn't mean that we don't give our all for our current employer or that we aren't passionate about them, but get real, which "true blue" Leeds player would play for free just for the privilege of playing for the mighty whites? No-one, we all get up in a morning for the pay packet.

Ed just responding to the poster who said a top quality striker was on his way to ER, a striker who has played at all levels.
Trying to be a Sherlock Holmes, I am wondering if he means Jay Bothroyd? Now this is one signing Id really love. Mind you Im probably so wide of the mark that I'll look like Eamonn Holmes!

Robert Earnshaw fits the bill too but I can't see it being him!
OWEN - The only top notch striker that has played at every level (would be phenomenal at this level 25+ goals)

I have heard a few rumours today that there will be a press conference today at Elland Road. Do you know if there is any truth in this or is it just some idiots spreading sh*t to make them look good??
Would be nice if it was true, I would welcome some news about takeover/investment or even a player unveiling. Would be a good start to the weekend and cheer me up on this wet Friday in Yorkshire.

Regardless of whether the takeover goes through or not, if the rumours of Danny Guthrie coming to Leeds are true then I think our central midfield will be in good shape for next season. He is a quality CM for this level in my opinion, really hoping these rumours are true but not overly confident!

Just seen David oleary, Alan smith, Paul Robinson and Jonathan woodgates at wooly edge services having a FEB.... They told me they were disgusted at the lack of rumours about their imminent return recently and they have clubbed together and decided to buy Leeds united. They are all planning to play with oleary managing.... They must be taking it serous next year as I noticed none had fried bread or black pudding their plates... Let the good times roll
