Ian Holloway (and various other websites) can moan as much as they like but a win is a win. Nice to be on the receiving end of three points :o). And gold stars for Matt Smith and Ross McCormack.

Unfortunately I didn't win the lotto this week but when I do I will buy leeds and give every fan shares. I will make ed013 my managing director and mad mick my chairman. If survivor (Jeff) is still hanging around, he can run LUTV.

People it's just a pipe dream, but when you support LUFC dreams are all you have.

One day we will be united again in success and others teams will look up in envy, I just know it!

I'm feeling optimistic so am changing my name from 'Danny LUFC' to 'Optimistic Danny'

Cheers

Optimistic Danny

Important 3 points albeit we hung on against a poor Millwall side. Don't get playing Wickham on the wing, smacks of warnock playing barkley out of position last year. Felt that manager failed to note that mowatt looked shot after 70 mins. Radio interview after game BMcD was defensive about performance of Austin claiming he played well and that Kebe is injured and will return when fit. Also he constantly kept mentioning the takeover. Brian, concentrate on tactics and personnel and leave the takeover to administrators and lawyers

A win today but ant decent side would have put 5 past us, playing Whickham wide on the left is a nonsense and you can see he is not happy. BMD out ASAP

Exactly! what was the point of getting Wickham to play him out of position where he is totally ineffective!

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right about todays game and also about wickham playing out on the wing when macca got his goal all the players went over to our right side to celebrate except connor he just jogged back to the halfway line by himself, maybe someone said something to him at half time because 2nd half he played really well, also can't understand why bmac left smithy on he was runnin on empty should have taken him off and put connor where he should be up front

Anyway wasn't at game today(or any this year due to being absolutely brassic) but sounds like butland saved us today is that right? And I stand by the fact matt smith is going to be a very important player for us In the coming years. How's
Luke murphy lately?

Yes. I am fed up of him blaming the takeover. Ok this was a win but we were dominated by a team in the relegation zone. When it got to 2-1 why didn't he bring on Stewart and Poleon and try to finish them off instead of defending the lead. This result barely papers over the cracks although at least we are one game closer to being safe.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's totally clueless, something I have been saying for months now, we'll get nowhere with this one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Jesus one minute people slate Stewart then they say bring him on! Damned if you do damned if you don't get a grip

Guys

we can go on about the FL and how the world is against us as much as we like. But, today there is a game against Millwall today that we have to win, can.t let them beat us.
Lets get behind the team and BMac and get some more points on the board -then back to the FL and speculation again tomorrow.

Good call - am away ( out of the country) so can't get there but totally there in spirit! Come on boys let's have em.MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

We really do need to get behind the team and the manager, any slagging off or negativity towards individual players, the team as a whole, and the manager - as fans we needs to try and be united.

Yes this current team has under performed, embarrassingly at times, but what any decent player will want to come and play for our club when all he`ll get is assassinated verbally for every mistake or bad game.
Leeds United Marching on Together.

Agreed. But we can accept a loss if everyone plays their socks off and when something is not working then the manager does something about it! Unfortunately there have been too many lack lustre performances and an inability to apply the correct tactics and change things when things aren't working!
Whilst I am behind the team I don't turn up to see poor or no effort backed by equally weak excuses post match!

Why are people blaming the FL for the delay in their decision. The delay is because this is a pretty unique case in that the person looking to takeover the club has current legal proceedings against them that depending on the outcome would effect the ability of that person to pass the FA's (not FL it covers all clubs including the premier league) FPP test. They can't make a decision yet as while technically at the moment he is guilty if his appeal is successful he could then take charge. Maybe instead of complaining against the FL we should complain to the Italian justice system and get them to speed up there appeals process

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Dont believe this case has any bearing on the FL, it is a civil case not a criminal one and the FL can only take into account criminal convictions

Agree0 Disagree0

Tax evasion = criminal case, not civil

Agree0 Disagree0

Can we be sure that no one with a legal case pending has applied to become an owner or director before?
I don't think we would know because previous cases haven't been under this scrutiny. There may have been cases and FL have gone along with the principal of innocent until guilty and allowed take over. Then found not guilty and no more said.
vidlfc, tax evasion is a criminal offence. For the most serious offences you can go to jail (Al Capone). The thing is you can committ an offence unintentional which is why quite often it is a fine rather than a prison sentence. The judge said there were "mitigating circumstances" and gave leave to appeal so she must have doubts whether intentional breach of the law.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tax avoidance not evasion?

Agree0 Disagree0

They have appealed against £506,000 tax fee peanuts compared to the 25 million buy out and 1 mill going into the club every month so not perticularly worried if i'm honest

Agree0 Disagree0

Again, why would he put 10 million into Ledes and not pay a paltry £400,000 if it were due?

Agree0 Disagree0

There's enough corpses buried around Russia to suggest that one of the PL owners should not have passed the F&PP test.but that's OK. London clubs are 'special' eh?!

Agree0 Disagree0

If your talking about Abramovich then the FPP test was brought in in 2004 after he took over and can't be applied retrospectively. If its not Abramovich then who are you talking about.
