Goes to show everyone the extent to which the MSM have it in for MC and Leeds in general.
Daily fail reporting that MC is to "sack" SE at end of season.
If memory serves me I thought SE was employed on a rolling contract so it will be a case of simply not renewing his contract. Not a sacking to the best of my knowledge.

Am I being too pedantic?

You are correct. Exactly what I thought. To be honest, I never thought MC would keep the big guy into next season, regardless of results. Let's wait and see.

More semantic proc.
Imo Evans will walk or be fired from his duties very soon. I'm also hearing an allegation against him that he is deliberately sabotaging the team's chances on match days hence why he is talking in riddles telling one thing to one person something opposite to another. He realizes his time is short and he will be replaced at end of season so he wants to have a little fun and cause damage. We all remember his quotes about Leeds while at Rotherham?

What George? Really, come on l, m getting fed up with all these people who think a manager wants to lose. He wants a strong record as possible for his next job and he is a man who wants to win.

ok playing Murphy and Mowatt on Saturday and not changing them was sabotaging our game for sure, but on purpose? If we start to thing like that then we start to look at all things in football and think no one gives a toss, which I for one doesn't believe.

Evan's blew it when he blurted out about getting a new contract. If there was a conversation it should have stayed private. He was warned about talking to the press and has reverted back to type. I expect once we're mathematically safe, he'll want to talk about a contract extension, walking right into an argument with Cellino. Gone.

You kinda ended up agreeing with me.
Look at evidence.
Wood leaner meaner back now don't play him.
Botaka carp now worldbeater suddenly
Overplayed Wooton
Will play youth won't play youth
No Carayol despite goals
Playing Murphy and Mowatt
Losing heavily
Dressing room revolt and complaints to MC
Rolling contract
Prior hatred of Leeds
Riddle talking as of late

You got to admit very least he's acting very weird and sometimes truth is simples.

Im increasingly of the view with SE that. to put it simply, isn't very bright.
All the contradictions, shows to me that he cannot remember what he says from one press release to the next.
They say to be a good liar you need a pristine memory.

{Ed003's Note - maybe he is just an egomaniac.}

talking in riddles, resting players in form, losing the respect of key players, confident that he will not get the sack - do we have Tubby Mourinho in our club.

22 Mar 2016 13:11:44
Why are there discussions about bringing in players on loan? We have a history of developing players from the junior ranks and isn't it our best interests to nurture this talent by playing our most promising players in first team games in front of a supportive audience which no doubt would be boosted by the opportunity to see what these young talented players can do.

if we were fighting to stay up or for promotion I would disagree as needs must however with us being where we are I agree, I think we should be giving the likes of coyle and the other youth players (even erwin) more game time, I would rather see a youngtser like van play over bamba and anyone over murphy.

After the Bolton game Evans said on BBC radio Leeds once we are safe from relegation he would give the young players a chance to show what they can do, however after Saturday's defeat he backtracked and said he would not be using the youngsters.

It is for reasons such as this why I don't have any confidence in Evans. MOT.

I don't know if this has been mentioned before but.

I wish the anti-Cellinio supporters would just do one and leave him alone!

I like the guy and at a guess the MAJORITY of Leeds fans do too!

Gotta admit he is a step in right direction after bates and gfh!
The Cellino out are just short sighted fools with nothing better to do.

well today is my birthday so any excuse to get my wood out for all to see is very welcome and my wife can not even moan as I have 24 hour pass. and to be fair I am not surpised that is where speedys mind went.

In all honesty I think wood if played in a more suited team and used better will be worth 15/ 20 goals at least he has shown glimps (middleborgh goal was as good as any we will score this season) but missed few sitters as well and not done great. I honestly think next year we will all want to keep our wood in.

Dear all,

The point I was making about related clubs under the new PL tv deal is that they are going to have significantly greater pulling power because the parachute payments will go up in tandem. so what if they have PL wages that are higher, the point has been made that these players, if any good are likely going to find PL alternatives, all of course dependant on where they are in their contract cycles. In spite of this cost, these clubs are going to have a measurable advantage in this league once they are down. Also wouldn't be difficult for the most part to negotiate contracts with players that have clauses in the event of relegation to make adjustments in salary or release clauses etc.

Ed, I posted a while ago about caratelisation ( I made a new word) of the PL, tbh not sure how relevant that is but at least the FL should be asking questions on behalf of FL clubs who will be put at a distinct commercial disadvantage for these reasons.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed003's Note - You would have to ask the FL that, but I would expect nothing back from the greed sucking thirsty gits that the PL are.}

22 Mar 2016 07:10:33
I agree PU. I wonder how many people are aware just how much of an increase in TV money Premier League clubs are going to get from next season. I'm worried we will end up with 23/ 24 elite clubs where no one below that will get a look in.

i can see the point you are making and I see the logic behind this but I don't think this will be the case and here is why despite the logic behind what you are saying.

teams that come down have often been favorites to go back up and one team that comes down often does.

since premiership started money has got bigger so has the gap between the haves and have nots, every year this gets bigger and bigger and next year will get bigger again. Since this happened has the gap got bigger? have little clubs had no chance? if anything as the money got bigger more teams from a greater variety have come up, in the 80's and 90's it was the same yoyo clubs more recently teams like barnsely, swindown, blackpool, borumoth, swansey, wigan etc have come from nowhere and often down well when up which goes against this theroy and all logic. also many teams in recent years have come down and gone down again which goes against the idea that prem money will make the difference, it didn't help us, wigan, forest, saints, blackpool, portsmouth and I think I have missed a few others

next year for example if it is noriwch, villa and newcastle/ sunderland. Villa will struggle to offload 90% of players and the players will cripple wages and not do well, I think they will go down again, Norwich might lose their best three/ four players but are set up for champ so should be ok although I don't think they will bounce back up. Sunderland and newcastle are both massive clubs and have best chance of keeping players and going back up but you can not tell they might fall to pieces they might go up undefeated I don't think money will change football over next few years and I predict the recent pattern of prem teams going to league one, prem teams going back up and prem teams staying in legaue (nice and vaired) will contiune and small clubs will still have a chance to come from nowhere.

Point missed from my post. References to what has happened historically is less relevant baca use of the big financial increase due to the PL deal.
Time will tell I gues.
