We had our pockets picked today by a defensively organised team. We didn't deserve to lose, mind you it was not obvious that we deserved to win either. It was just one of those days where, early doors, it just did not look to be our day. There seemed to be a lack of the usual zip and tempo. We had the right ideas just (only just) failed to execute. Passes either played just in front or just behind, coupled with loose balls dropping invariably to them. Ah well too much to expect the 18/ 19 invincibles let's just, eradicate on the training pitch, dust ourselves down and go again. Not the end of the world. By the way Alf, did I see a Bremner square with your name on it?

I’m sure Bermondsey thought he was man of the match! Stayed on long enough to redeem himself with the goal. To be fair Alioski is Alioski, one moment frustrating and the next does something. Think he could do with a bit of a pause.

Jack Clarke wasn’t on the bench today, brought in Shackleton instead. I would have liked him to have a go in the last 20 mins. He still a bit leightweight but full of tricks, might have drawn some fouls and perhaps created a bit of space for Saiz.

Very frustrating day for Alioski. The guy works as hard as anyone in the team and has the ability to beat opponents but lacks confidence or application to do so. Treated the ball like a bomb today as he was eager to offload it. It is fortunate that Bielsa is the manager rather than me as I would have subbed Alioski approx 40 mins before he scored.

Bad day at the office for BPF, first goal was like slow motion, second one they shouldn't even have got the shot away. Dallas had a decent game, so much better than KP today. Got fed up of the blatant time-wasting and fake injuries, and don't get me started on that bloody referee, or that lovely little ginger tosser I met in the m'way services, told him to go find his mummy before he got his legs smacked. He was too far away for me to do it but he ran back to his bus a bit sharpish anyway :)

They kicked our players up in the air whenever they looked like going through. Academy award winning injury claims that the myopic referee failed to see. Referee also broke up the tempo - absolutely useless. let's beat the Wendies - onwards and upwards.

i agree about dallas, not awful just bang average. BFP has been so good this season but seems he had a mare tonight, shame with keepers because when they do it always shows up and costs the team. I hope he comes back from this with good perfomance next game, as for aliskio I didn't think he was man of the match just from what i have read he was typical him, great one moment poor the next, i still rate him but equally find him frsutarting.

I have said it for ages Wex about Dallas, average all the way, tries hard but no pace. Squad depth being tested at the moment, bit of a rain check for Kinnear who going by his programme notes thinks everything in the garden is rosey.

I was in the South Stand today so didn't have the clearest view of their goals, but they both looked sloppy concessions to say the least. To many players had off days today but big game on Friday now to get things back on track. We need Roofe and or Hernandez back soon, just to give us some more options, especially upfront.

BPF was poor today and at fault for both goals. Difficult to win a game when you gift a 2 goal start.

whiteman they are poor, don't make us poor just makes that the nature of this league, west brom are good but don't mean they can't lose to bad team, millwall are afwul yet they drew with us. championship just such a very very hard league.

As I said a few days ago we are very good at times but at others average or worse. Birmingham are doing for us - packing the defence and waiting for the chances we will give them. Middlesborough did it but couldn't score. Birminhgham have just done that - twice. It will be extra ordinary if we can get anything out of this one.

2 hours before the game in the ground and the atmosphere is incredible! Also made me think how good success is for business, shop packed, bars full, tills ringing, everywhere buzzing! If it's down to the fans today then no contest! This is the kind of support that has got to make the difference to the team. Great for the club and great for the city! Let's keep it going! There's only one thing that beats been at Elland Road on a day like this and the match lasts longer, just!
