Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

THAT letter, from the dirty dozen-1, is dated 2018! ! ! Obviously they have been spying on Leeds, knew Bub would arrive, knew what he would do and prepared accordingly. All they had to do was bide their time, wait for us to have a little wobble and then upset the applecart. I demand that the FL, FA, UEFA and FIFA look into this matter with the utmost urgency 😂🤣😂.

Doubt they would look at anything in our defence Whiteman. They go out of their way to bend the rules when it's us involved.

Wonder if there'll be a media witch-hunt over Kamara at Fulham? Arrested for GBH, Fulham, to their credit, have thrown him under the bus 😎 although, being a bit of a cynic, I reckon that's so they can bin him with no payoff.

Staffy And what about Hennessey? His excuse is pathetic. I hope he's banned, fined and then devoured spiritually by angels.

I just saw the Hennessey thing George and I agree with you, he should be punished for the "salute" as heavily as the rules allow. Then, he should be punished for the most ridiculous excuse I've heard in a very long time.

What a pathetic excuse from him.

Steady on lads. While I agree it was in severe bad taste I’d imagine he’d had a few and didn’t mean any harm. I hope he regrets it and I’m sure he does because his excuse his totally unbelievable.
We’ve all done shit, well I have, that we regret and hope not to be judged on it.

Corky, there's shit, and then there's shit, Herr Hennessey has overstepped the mark by a very long way. If he'd acted even a little bit remorseful then I would have maybe leaned towards your argument, as it stands, chuck t' book at him.

I am with Cork on this one. As he says it was clearly bad tast on Hennessey's part, but looking at it, the guy just looks like a daft turd who thinks he's funny. Hennessey comes across as silly attention seeker more than a sinister Nazi supporter. A few drinks, low IQ and a craving for attention. Daft not dangerous.

Tory, we need less #spy gate and more #dirty dozen-1gate :)

Glad it wasn't one of our players who did it, although it looks more stupid than sinister, could you imagine the reaction! As for the wrongly dated letter from the 11 haters, it should be ignored by the EFL as the investigation into the ridiculous overblown matter is already supposedly underway.

Hennessey once stopped for a wee while driving through Leeds therefore any punishment should be levelled at us, surely?

Corky

I am DEFINITELY with you. Bad taste but nothing more

Is anyone investigating John Cleese. He made a living out of such stuff. Freddie Starr had a whole routine

I will admit to having a few and doing very similar in my past. And I love the Germans (a RSM saved my life in a Hamburg bar) and i have never had a quarrel with Jews or Rissians. Hope the Fa don't investigate me, because there is worse than that in MY drunken history

Hennessey's only crime. Not telling the truth. Say yes, i did it. I was drunk. It was an error of judgement. The guy taking the poc was German and in my drunken state i thought it would be funny

Seems with the cold snap, all the SNOWFLAKES are out. Thank God for global warming!

Axe If intoxication caused you to consider the symbol of mass genocide "funny" I'd say you got some issues. Just my opinion.

Footballers are held to a higher standard because of their public image, high salary and ability to influence the youth. He's brought the game into disrepute and he needs to be severely punished. Last time I checked genocide isn't funny even when you're drunk.

George, unfortunately the demon drink DID cause me to consider the Nazi salute to be "funny". Thanks for your "opinion", I have no doubt I have many issues

I guess I was born so long ago that I had grandparents, parents and friends of parents who lived through the war. Their humour became my humour. In my eye, if they could actually live, survive and grow after the such a terrible time, and they thought it was defiant to make fun of a stupid salute, hell why shouldn't I

after reading many of your post on here I can not believe you are of the snowflake generation. People making a Nazi salute doesn't mean they support Nazism. Possibly they could be making fun/ light of those sort of people. I doubt even in his drunken state that Hennessey thought he wanted to offend Jews, Poles, Russian, Brits, ANZAC et all.

24 Jan 2019 14:13:35
btw. …. Nazi salute in a pub. making fun of genocide. bloody hell that's a leap of faith

you seem to be wanting to tar Hennessey with that brush. not sure that's fair without asking him whether that was his idea

and just so you know, I was. I don't think Freddie Starr was. and after reading his biography I know John Cleese definitely wasnt.

Agree0 Disagree0

24 Jan 2019 19:57:06
Axe "a leap of faith"? Hardly. You seem to suggest it wasn't "fun" for Hennessey. Was it serious then? I mean the opposite of fun is to be serious. Is he an avid supporter of the former regime on a serious level then in your opinion?

George

You love your words don't you!

You can try to use my words against me. Make me look foolish. Make me look somehow corrupt. Good for you

I guess we will just have to agree to disagree on the morals behind a picture

I would rather get back to reading more entertaining thoughts of our Leeds brethern.
