Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Whilst we'll all agree that our form isn't great, it is worth noting that none of the 8 teams below us have taken more points than we have in the last 5 games.
keep the faith, first year back and its about building on this year.

Agree Tj, but I will rest easier when we have got another win under our belts.

Yeah we still need to hit that 40 points mark regardless of what the others are doing.

Yes, the January window is a difficult window to recruit quality players, but even so it is more than a tad disappointing that Leeds aren't seemingly even looking to strengthen midfield or up front etc in this window and give the team/ squad a lift.

I hope this policy proves wise and that the players/ team/ squad we have are strong/ good enough in depth to avoid getting sucked into a relegation battle :

importantly avoiding injuries to key players will be crucial also.

Agree vid. There must be one player available on loan that can improve our team or at least be cover for injuries.
I don’t actually think we are even looking to be honest.

Agree boys, frustrated about lack of loan use.
Think we will be ok as other teams below not winning but I think one or 2 in would make it safer.
Sure we could have tempted Ali, shaquiri or Erickson for that creative MF position and would’ve liked to try for origi.
Maybe a loan with option to buy.

From what I've seen the 3 that look like they want champ football next season are sheff wba and Brighton. Newcastle possibly trying their best to break into the 3 too.

I don’t think Brighton have had the rub of the green this season so far from what I’ve read and heard. I’ve not actually watched them but every time I look at results they seems to have been hard done by because they can’t find the net.

Sheff Utd hopefully will go down
West Brom at the moment seem a dead cert too
Leaving 1 spot. Like you say it won’t be a case of been good enough to stay up, it’ll be a case of not been as bad as 18th.

But don’t think any of this will effect Leeds.

I’d agree on first two Aus. I think maybe could be another from 6 or 7 others! As you say Newcastle making a fine bid! Next two games could be vital! For me Brighton play some decent stuff and have been a little unlucky at times! Good defensively but not enough goals and too many draws! I’d go Fulham or Newcastle at present!

On current form you’d have to say Newcastle, but we are still only half way through the season. I don’t give much hope for Sheff Utd and WBA but Newcastle could sack Bruce very soon and bring someone in that has a very positive reaction with the players, with Callum Wilson you’ve got goals and they’ve got some decent players.
But if Bruce stays I think he’ll take them down.

I with OP , bruce could possibly be gone this week, I think brighton will stay up also, hard to call the 3rd spot currently.

Utter tosh Aus re Brighton
Brighton have a large squad full of decent to good players that have been playing well in most games their problem has been finishing.

Sheff Utd do look in serious trouble.

The other 2 relegation spots could be anybody's but making a prediction I don't think Brighton or Burnley will be relegated.

Lol Aus I say it how I see it, thanks.

Brighton were rubbish Aus? . against whom? Leeds? Yet they still won Check out their Xg ratings. Their only problem has been converting their chances.

Go easy on the Fosters

Cheers 🥳.

Indeed Wigan White, Leeds are far from safe yet

the Newcastle vs Leeds game is massive.

for me a must win for Leeds

certainly a must not lose.

Here we go again, must win for Leeds. Baz we want to win every game, yes I get it on paper we should be trying to take advantage of a team that is below us. The simple fact is it doesn’t always work like that. If we lose against Newcastle it’ll be very disappointing but it still won’t be desperate for us. Too many teams below us are still struggling.
However I do think Villa will beat Newcastle tomorrow which will leave Bruce walking a tightrope by the time they play us on Tuesday. I’ll be putting my money on Leeds winning this fixture.

OP the lads have lost 3 games in a row, first time ever in Bielsa's career

A win or at the very least a draw at Newcastle is very much needed with games with Leicester and Everton to follow.

I always try to look further than the next game but alll games in this league are tough so it’s not easy to see where you will pick up points. Having said that unless it’s the last game of the season and there is less than 3 points gap then I don’t think any game is a must win game and even then if the other team loses it wasn’t a must win game.
