2-1 to leeds after palace go down to 10 men

Agree8 Disagree2

Leeds to win 2-0 somebody needs to show some confidence

Agree6 Disagree3

Why would we loose, when the clouds have been lifted. This will give the players a kick up the backside and let them know, new players are just over a month away. I'm going for a Leeds win 2-0. This will be are first clean sheet of many now.

Is it just me or are others suprised Jerome Thomas has the no 9 shirt, I no technically it means nothing but for just a month loan normally you just take a squad number. I dont know what his 1st team chances are like right now but with WBA flying high and out of favour with the manager maybe he will be thinking longer term.
Its very early days to be thinking about them signing in Jan, but I hope the new signings can do the business and we can strengthen even more in Jan.
KarlT

Believable10 Unbelievable0

Paul Dickov took the 7 shirt back in league one, and we all know he was garbage, i think these days the numbers dont matter

Agree6 Disagree0

Its a loan which could turn permenant I think. And its tiLl jan 3rd. And tate would be quality to have for the full season

The trouble with you youngsters is that you are happy to settle for a win every now and then. Us oldies expect perfection. So
All you team pickers- don't include beccio, gray is better
Don't see a winger that scores every 10 games as a good signing.
Don't keep sticking up for warnock- he is so not worthy
Leeds are a big club and players should be told, we are going places and if you don't join us now ( January ) you ain't getting another chance.
If Leeds were in the prem we would average bout 35 to 40,000- how many teams outside big 5 can or do, do that?
It's time to start getting the big signings and I think warnock us too old and set in his boring ways to make a good player want to join us. Good times ahead and let's hope confidence returns on Saturday.

Believable4 Unbelievable14

Becchio to score the winner tomorrow.

Agree4 Disagree0

I couldn't agree more with this post (and yes, I am one of the oldies who had a season ticket throughout the Revie years). Warnock is not right for Leeds, never has been. But he was the best we could hope for under the circumstances and is trying his best. What we need is a young ambition manager, somebody who will build a team from scratch without having to rely on cast offs and fringe players, we need to be in the market for the Zahas and Inces of this world and not the Tonges and Dioufs (sorry cant stand the man, never will). Di matteo, Moyes, Poyet, even Di Canio at a push would do a great job with sensible money at their disposal. I dont think we need to spend tens of millions in transfer fees, we just need the facilities to offer fair wages and massive ambition for young and hungry talent.

What's the obsession with ex players? One reason or 2 they all left us. Time for a long awaited fresh start. We know for sure now we are even more attractive to quality players as we are competitive in wages as well as the best supported club out there. GFH did not pay all that money to remain still like Bates. These guys want PL and so do we. I think we will get a lot better then Gradel, Snoddy, Howson or etc. Leeds do not beg players anymore. Support is crucial and above all time. I really feel we got our club back and for the first time in 10 years I'm really optimistic. No reason to moan and no grounds for doom. This time is for good. Now as fans it's our time and MOT should be heard louder and non stop till the world stop going round.

Believable16 Unbelievable1

Excellent post. This is the sort of mindset we need in order to move forward. Constant salivation about old, past-it players like Smith, Bowyer and Robinson makes us look a bit sad and pathetic. Trust the manager and support the players he brings in during the January window. We should be praying for young, fresh players such as Mackail-Smith not reminiscing over former players who jumped ship at the earliest opportunity.

Agree9 Disagree1

On & upwards, marching on n singing a song WE ARE LEEDS !!

Agree3 Disagree0

I think some of the people on this are not real leeds fans well i hope so. its ridiculous who would want a player that left us because he wanted more money players that came through our academy and just **** on us. I pray that we wave to these players as one day we cruise past them in the league.

Agree4 Disagree1

Totally agree 100% with ya buddy, bringing in old players is like going back with old girlfriends,it hardly ever works,MOT FOR LIFE!!

Agree3 Disagree1

I've been a leeds fan since I was a little lad, will always be leeds. If I was good enough to be a pro, I would follow the money, don't be so naive to think lads that support clubs will play for them and ignore offers of better terms

Agree2 Disagree0

Well we think diffrently i look at the likes of gerrard and think legend because he has done the best he possibly could for the team he loves not playing for a poxy team to get a few extra grand a week. But obviously i realise everyone doesnt think like me.

Agree1 Disagree1

If i was a player i'd want to play for LEEDS , and no one else

I have it on good authority that it's Dev off of Coronation Street. He hasn't been on in a while and have you seen what he charges for beans?... must be minted because he's got a shop near The Flying Horse!

Happy times ahead folks!

ken bates needs to come out with the exact details of how he SAVED OUR CLUB and explain why if he hadnt no one else would have come along and the cub would have 100% dissapeared . all theese bates lovers cant be wrong so he or they should come out and explain what the rest of us are missing . 7 years of hurt for 30m in his pocket doesnt warrant a life presidentcy there must be more to it .

Believable4 Unbelievable11

Move on and get a life misery guts!

Agree14 Disagree1

I think its about time ppl droped it, the takeover is done and ppl are still moaning lets just get on a support the club and look to the future.

Agree6 Disagree2

Ill move on when someone like you explains what thousands of us are missing or bates moves on

Agree3 Disagree5

.If you dont wanna go to the match dont F-cking go,stop whining, all true fans will get behind the new regime, the players and even Bates, leave it alone now

Agree8 Disagree1

What's the big deal? Mr Bates has an honorary title only, he owns 0% of our club and has no say in anything. The new owners might have to listen to his advice but they don't have to take it.

I can't understand people, the club is moving in the right direction and we can help put things right on the pitch by getting behind the team and no negative chants, but that isn't good enough for some.

I believe the majority of our great fans will see this as a new start, MARCHING ON TOGETHER. Ron

Agree8 Disagree2

We still have a club, ken doesn't!

Paul Robinson told he can leave Blackburn. Think he would be good back here.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Arrgggh! PLEASE Stop wishing that former players will be returning! We need to look to the future, to new players, not to a past which gave us nothing. This week has given Leeds fans the perfect opportunity to look to a new, bright future. Past players are NOT the answer to any of our current problems on the pitch. Rant over...

Agree4 Disagree5

I understand why fans hate the idea of ex players coming back,in most caes i think it's right to forget the past and move on but,i think Robinson is a slighty different case,Robinson is a good keeper esp at this level i don't think you unless your throwing cash around for the sake of it could find many better, plus if later we did get promoted he would be great as a number two,his experience could be vital at times,so i would be happy to see him back,as i said a good keeper and i'm sure he would love to come back to us,

Agree3 Disagree1

Ok we r so keen to sign ex player but why do we need a gk right now? Kenny isnt exactly the underperformer of the club far from it . Yes new owners have done well with tate and thomas but address more urgent places first . Ashdown is also class so gk doesnt need tweaking til promotion

Team to play against palace
Kenny
Byram tate lees drury
green brown
Thomas diouf hall
Beccio

Mccormack and poleon to feature

Tonge is not good enough to play for leeds either is green and brown but they are d best we have at d moment, at d start of d season I thought we were sorted for centre midfielders, how wrong was I

Believable2 Unbelievable12

I think your wrong about tonge, he has played well since he arrived, scored goals, & play like he belongs in a white shirt

Agree12 Disagree1

23 Nov 2012 12:43:31
Kenny pelts lees tate drury brown green byram diouf thomas becchio i know theres 11 n we usually play with 10 sumtimes 9 but lets give it a try

Agree4 Disagree2

23 Nov 2012 16:43:54
Green is the worst player at the club with brown they get nowhere near the ball unless its passed straight to there feet.they cant tackle .

Agree1 Disagree5

Don't think tonge do's owt special or stand out but he do's his job n nicks us a goal every now and again. can't complain about that. better than brown, norris, green anyways!

Agree2 Disagree0

Get rid of norris and green brown actually has spells of average to good play albeit short but keep him in case

Agree0 Disagree0

Squad for tomorrow against palace
Kenny
Byram really rate him
Lees good young player
Tate expect good leadership at the back
Peltier don't particulary like him as captain but until January
Hall i liked him against Milwall defo start very quick as well cud help Thomas
Tonge i quite like him a few good games, a few bad hopfully good tomoz
Thomas fast winger, crosser and decent goalscorer
Diouf CAM for me to similar to Becchio to be up front and good holder up of the ball
Becchio top goalscorer nothing more
Mccormack all round good player fast as well
2 - 1 to leeds the fans amd players should be on a high and hopfullly a good atmosphere finally at Elland Road

Believable4 Unbelievable7

Austin?? the same Ausin who is injured? Gj

Agree7 Disagree1

And where does pearce fit in?

Agree1 Disagree3

So you wouldn't have Pearce in the squad at all?

Agree1 Disagree2

Pearce is suspended derrr!

Agree1 Disagree1

That is a really good formation but will have to do with norris or green till than and no way brown he fouls way to much.

Agree0 Disagree0

The guy did say when everyone is back.for the lad who said the same Austin whos injured.

Agree1 Disagree0

Pearce used to be a LB and can see why. quite nippy provides better defensive cover than white and drury so id have pearce LB and peltier RB n thats all i'd change with current squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh and drop becchio, ross up front diouf to cover right attacking mid and brown defensive mid!

to the people moaning about the 2 signings just remember.
warnock had just over 24hrs to sort these before the window closed... take into consideration most the top players are already out on loan and the 1's that will be up for sale in january teams dont want to loan out so they dont get injured.
once january has come if we dont get quality in then fair enough moan by all means
but untill then get behind the bloody team

Believable14 Unbelievable2

I agree, as Warnock said, it was a matter of availability not affordability on the final day of the loan window. We just needed a couple of extra bodies to get us through to January.

Agree6 Disagree0

That's good motivation for the new recruits, put like that are we saying that they were brought in because of the time available rather than that they were actually wanted

Agree1 Disagree1

To above rather negative lookingh at loanees for ch clubs could we have realistically got all that better players even if we had the whole window i dont know im very happy with them

Agree0 Disagree0

Takeover signed.
Two new loan players signed.
Still expect a spanking at home against C Palace.
But I will still be there as always. Warnock Out!
Bet of the day - Glenn Murray to score first, sadly,,,,

Believable5 Unbelievable35

My god man it should be you that goes out not warnock, we've been taken over after 7 long months signed 2 quality players on loan and your still not happy, shameful really. If your in this sort of mood now I'd hate to have seen u mid takeover!

Its probably rob di mattio slating warnock, trying to get him sacked ,so he can spend gfh millions in jan lol

Jerome Thomas is good step forward and I think he will show us over the next few weeks....and hopefully will do enough to get a permanent deal. Tate I cant really comment but hes been captain at swansea so thats a bonus. I really want Mackail Smith in january then I will be happy and a new captain as Peltier shouldnt be the captain of the mighty whites, no way. Roll on january, MOT, Vinny.

Believable10 Unbelievable1

I saids while a go on here that quality premiership players will have a significant impact on the rest of the squad and as football is 70% confidence watch the "ineffective" players suddenly prosper.....i fancy a 2-1win tomorrow and will continue improving. Mrc1919.
