Looking at some of the pre Ipswich 'hype' Yes we have a whinge on a regular basis and MC protests and we all like to vent our spleen (not me by the way😳! ) but do they really think we will be anything but 100% behind the team on the day and we will outshine any other crowd on the planet. Yes we get vocal but you ain't going to see anything but one force on match day so quit your hype and on your bike. MOT.

Our problems from the start have been right across the team. We didn't create enough chances and often didn't score when a chance did come along. Our midfield didn't dominate games - not being creative and losing the mid field put added pressure on the defence. Our defence through the middle was prone to make mistakes, which was made worse by the forwards not being able to hold up the ball and our mid field being lacking. In addition defending from set pieces was abysmal. Over recent times the mid field has improved with the introduction of Bridcutt and O'kane. Viera and Phillips are good back ups. The back four looks more solid with Jansson, Bartley and Ayling. Set piece defence has also improved. Taylor is doing his bit but seems a bit distracted. With Berardi getting fit and Coyle and possibly Denton backing up that's not too bad. I am still concerned about Cooper and set pieces. Up front we can't still hold the ball up effectively. We have width and a bit of pace with Sacko. Hernandez has a bit of class and Dallas is solid. Wood can now score penalties and seems to have developed the knack of scoring coming off the bench. Roofe hopefully will adjust in time. Antonnson needs a stronger and more capable partner up front if we are to see him at his best. All in all there has been an improvement and we are harder to beat. We are still not creating much up front which makes Wood look bad when he is given a couple and misses. We've had good results against pretty average opposition. It will be interesting to see how our improving team fares against better opposition. We can't expect to get clean sheets every game so we can get a win or draw.

dont really understand your post but on the bright side we are looking better every game and have the option to make 5-7 changes and still win - how long has it been since we could say that😆This team has width and we have the ability to get forward quickly as well as get back and defend- work in progress but I am confident we can compete against any team in this league 😜.

Agree with all that Hess, do think though that as we are more solid at the back and in midfield we should in turn be better going forward . We have something to build on and a little strengthening in the next 2 windows and we should be looking the best we have been for a long time .

Looking better but not enough fire power up front I think. It will be clearer when we play better sides.

Agree with all of the above. Like PA says, strengthening in the next 2 windows paramount. A fine striker, perhaps even 2 of them and we will go very close. At least we can compete better now.

Morning siblings. Well, things are certainly looking brighter than they did 9 days ago. To that tune I have been checking out the odds and we are generally between 80/ 1 and 125/ 1, but Coral are a massive 200/ 1, 1/ 4 odds first three. Now that is a big return for a relatively small investment. Lump on before kick off tomorrow, that price is going to vanish like mist in the sun. Have a great weekend people, up the Whites and down those pints.

And also, on bills you can get 33/ 1 for Wood to be top scorer.

Morning Vidmeister, albeit a day late. Yes things do look a little rosier in the garden. Not getting too carried away as I think today will be a tough test but can still see us coming through 2-0. Woody and Pablo Escobar for me.

Down the pints, line up a few chasers, down some more pints, spew on your shoes, down some more and Up The Whites!
