If only eh! Liverpool on fire, great team performance fair play to them.

I have always admired Milner, a top professional. Not the only ex Leeds player doing well at the moment.

Milner smith and batty. True whites.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Batty does live up to his name apparently. He has gone into seclusion according to all his ex-team-mates. The claim is that he lives in a caravan away from it all but they don't know for sure because none of them have seen or spoken to him in years!}

25 Apr 2018 12:52:24
Ed001 he lives just outside Wakefield, and yes keeps hims;ef to himself and no not in a caravan

25 Apr 2018 14:45:33
Ed001 That was always his plan even as a young man in his 20s. He told his friends he would become a recluse after his career ended.

25 Apr 2018 23:35:07
Batty never considered himself as a footballer, it was just a job to him, just happens he wasn't bad at it

Another headline news story about our Pre season plans! FFS please stop this circus! In answer to Corkwhite earlier post in reply to mine, what is it that you don’t understand Corky and why did I contradict myself? All I want mate is a manager to match our ambitions, you can not have a championship winning team with an average manager, we’ve tried time and time again, so what’s up with me wanting that? Also I like Whiteman, Mezzer, Bige, and many more have been totally honest throughout with Leeds in our hearts while being blunt! Also as you asked me about who I would want as a manager and my choice would be long term Marco Silva or Sam Allardyce as a get us promoted option. Just remember Corkwhite mate, all on here love Leeds and we all have differing opinions but seriously mate if my posts are that bad don’t read them!

Mike, keep on speaking your mind mate, you echo what many are thinking. Really wonder about the people who are advising Radz, yet another chance to make us a laughing stock. Pre-season tour to Myanmar Really!, maybe they play at a level that we will be able to win a game. If we get really lucky we can off load some of our squad out there.

Agree2 Disagree4

24 Apr 2018 20:38:35
Mike, I was basically saying how difficult it is to get a top manager at our level and some of the names mentioned we have no chance. Didn’t mean to offend you and I enjoy reading all posts on here, well nearly all. Let’s hope we can the next Sean Dyche or similar.

24 Apr 2018 21:04:15
Nice one Mezzer, it breaks my heart to see us falling apart again and again and again, we take a massive step forward and then ten back! Bad decisions on the pitch and now bad decisions off it! Just for once it would be fantastic to still be cheering for something come April, I’m sick of our season finishing in February/March!

Feel your pain fella. Sadly been around like you i guess to see so many poor season's but can also remember the times we were great. Best fans in the land, deserve a good team.

No worries Corkwhite, sorry if I read it wrong, I was in truth watching the news and the bloody latest farce going at Leeds! My problem is I’m sick to the back teeth of other teams finding the jewels while we are left with the conkers! It just about sums us up when we get the master of promotion Neil Warnock and he fails then he goes to Cardiff and result, The Dog Bothererd get Wagner we get Rosler! Wolves get a Champions league manager in Nuno and bang up they go, we get TC again from a Champions league team and flop! Players play crap for us then we bin them and they spring back to life and become brilliant like Samba, Pelitier and others! Why oh why can we not get a slice of luck and get a dynamic manager in the making who can turn average players into super stars! Warnock said the other night that his lot would not win any beauty contests and Cardiff is like a hostel for players who are not wanted! FFS, where are we going wrong! Cheers Corkwhite.

Now that things have calmed down, I think the days of us being in a position to appoint a top class manager are well behind us. The last one was vegetables, the one before was George Graham. We need to unearth a new gem, as many other sides have done, and give whoever it may be a chance to build. None of the "top class" names I've seen mentioned, partic Wenger (! ) are affordable, or would even consider coming to Leeds.

Cheers Mike mate and I agree totally. Hate to admit Bright but your bang on. Unless we pull a rabbit out of hat manager wise we in right stuook!

25 Apr 2018 00:23:29
You’re not wrong Brightwhite, unfortunately Leeds United are not a great prospect anymore, the amount of managers we have gone through has put paid to interest from any so called big names! Sad but true!

So more unwanted bad press and criticism of our club after the announcement to tour Myanmar. What planet are the decision makers on down at ER? After the fiasco over the new club crest and now this, why can't they just get on with righting the wrongs of this season's debacle.

LUFCfev The planet of making money in order to raise a superior transfer budget planet. And to answer your last point, because Radz don't have the money. He spent it on Okane and Cooper hence the tour. This is how he solves his errors. At least that's the crest sorted now. Just turn Gaviscon man into a soldier with a machine gun with a hint of red. Maybe Red Bull will come in for us now. Look on bright side. The tour will at least see the "blooding" of more youth, just hopefully not literally. #Accidentwaitingtohappen

For all his faults M C not only attended games, but also seemed knowable regarding the game and players . I do wonder how many of are current squad would remain at the club if he was still are owner?

Let's hope the pre-season tour of the former Burma (#insanity) doesn't end up like the script in that movie with Owen Wilson set in a similar region and I don't mean Zoolander. One way to improve fitness I suppose running away from all the ethnic cleansers. Talking of one way, one way ticket planned for Victor?

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed001's Note - No Escape is that? With an ex-Bond?}

24 Apr 2018 12:23:07
Ed001 Correct. Pierce. Good movie. Let's hope opposition full backs don't carry personal rocket launchers but it could encourage Alioski to pass more and it might give Sacko another yard of pace.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - I have to agree with you there, it was a good movie. Can't agree on the rocket launchers though, would spice up the game if that was allowed. Pretty much ok for Warnock's teams anyway.}

24 Apr 2018 10:39:56
Don't want to be seen to be getting carried away here but if anyone else saw the under 23s demolish Bristol must have been well impressed the football and passing were far superior to the first team Dalby's goal was class when one on one put Ekuban to shame.

So Jamie Clapham thought Pennington did well on Saturday, it seems to me that everyone connected with the team are coming out with comments that the hierarchy want to hear. For me Pennington is like several others, not good enough and he picks up injuries on a regular basis. A new quality centre back, maybe two, should be high on the priority list as Cooper isn't the man either.

If we go ahead with the signing of Mbakogu then it's obvious radz has learnt nothing this season. He's no better than ekuban and we all know how that one turned out. Radz your chief whip has said were in for a big summer but I can see the same mistakes happening again. Quantity over quality and good money wasted followed by dwindling attendances and a up hill battle on pitch. #aimhigher

24 Apr 2018 13:31:10
Spot on Martyn_g the same mistakes time after time Mbakogu is Ortas type of player naff scoring record and dodgy knees and now ridiculous prseason friendlies will continue to go backwards with Radz and Orta as the main players can't see a way forward if Radz continues to back him 5 year plan my arse can only see a new owner with cash and knowhow making a difference heres hoping
