Still not firing on all pots woods needs to start taking his chances he can be a handful but it's either confidence or just bad luck defence for their goal was awful again tempo better but we need a win soon or we going to have long struggle to even make mid table?

wood didn't take pen? draw so three more to go then seen this before . lacking in goals.

I couldn't understand why wood didn't the penalty especially as he has taken the last couple. Antenucci as usual was playing just for himself.

Much I am sure will be said about Silvertre's shortcoming and his command of his box is poor. However, for the goal in the first half we didn't defend the corner well. In addition we should have scored twice. Wood, in my opinion is no better than Morison on present form and in a number of ways he is not as good. His heading is poor and he's not scoring the bread and butter goals. he scored a spectualar goal at derby but he was otherwise generally poor. The only plus side is that he gets into goal scoring positions better than Morison but that's not good enough onless you score and he has missed a number of sitters. So we are still short of a commanding goal keeper, a proper striker who can score and a dominant mid fielder. Although I don't think much of Barton off the field I saw him play for Burnley. He is the type of player we are crying out for. Pity Botaka is ill we are looking pedestrian again.
Hope we can score but its not looking promising.

He's still scored more than Morrison n doesn't help when he gets rubbish crosses so can't judge he's heading when no one can cross the ball.

Don't rate silv or wood. Both are awful and def need replacing. Or Dallas. We need more quality.

Yeah Wood is pants, only scoring at a rate that would see him hit 18 this season with no service at all the first 11 games, what a waste of space right? seriously people get a grip. Wood hasn't had the service he likes (to feet), he has never been good in the air, also yes he has fluffed his lines more than once but Beckford used to miss 5-6 good chances for every goal he scored, we just had people who could cross then (Snoddy and Mad Max) so he got the chances. Wingers need to take the blame for poor service and a lack of goals over anyone else in the team, regardless of how much flare people like Botaka have if he can't provide the cross its redundant how good his build up play is, same for Dallas.

Good morning lads n lasses. A new era has dawned and fat is the new thin, so I've started off my day with a slap up fry-up in homage to the great Stevie Big Bones Evans (none of that healthy porridge for me anymore! ) .

I can see Big Bones bringing the bacon back today with a comfortable win and we look a tasty price at 2-1. So I'm going to gobble that up and wash it down with several pints of Stella. It makes me a better lover apparently, although my wife disagrees. She doesn't like me disappearing down the boozer all day and says I'm intransigent. I said I don't know what that means. She said ask George. I said no, I'll ask your sister. She slammed the door and that's me out for the day!

Have a good weekend everyone and get on the 2/1 bandwagon for some bonus beer tokens!

Just watched Rotherham United v sheff Wednesday and can honestly say we missed out on forrestieri what a player, would have been a tremendous signing for us, quality striker with great link up play can also assist too. Can help thinking massimo cocked that deal up, with his my way or highway approach. Guess we will never really know what happened there, Big Steve to bring 3 points back across the penines today come on you whites! Mot.

Shef wed are digging a hole for themselves with the wages they are paying if they don't get promoted. Would rather havve us financially securE and build on that.
