just a thought, becchio howson johnson snodders beckford & not a sniff of promotion. class manager better team spirit plus one or two additions (in brian we trust) and who knows? Mot degsy

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Before grayson was sacked we were going for promotion it was warnock who killed off tht season

Agree0 Disagree0

Beckford didn't play for Leeds in Championship, he'd signed for Everton by then.

Agree0 Disagree0

In our first season we were a whisker away from play offs

I personally think all the people who travel to watch Leeds from all over the place, and the fans who travel to all the away fixtures show the rest of the championship teams up.I can't afford away games but I do go to all the home games. what does tend to tee me off a bit though is how can a city like Leeds which has 750,000 inhabitants only manage to get 4% (at best) of those inhabitants to come to Elland Road. Youd think with a population of our size wed sell out every game?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Only a certain percentage will be sports fans

of tht percentage only a percentage will be football fans

only a percentage will be leeds fans

only a percentage will be able to get to elland road every week

theres a lot of variables involved its not as simple as ''big city big crowd''

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed there is a great deal of variables but football is the largest supported game in the UK bar none I still think 4% is poor

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets see, total attendance Prem to BSq South last season around 1.5m. Pop of England and Wales 56m that's about 3%. looks like we're above average at 4% then!

Agree0 Disagree0

26 Aug 2013 23:39:30
pop of UK 56m don't think so try add another 10m

Agree0 Disagree0

Read again pal. Eng and Wales. don't think the Scots play in our Prem or League yet

I know the Peter Ridsdale connection. But Cardiff today. Brilliant. And I see the top six in the Championship (including us) are unbeaten. Exciting times ahead :o)

Brian please sell the likes of pugh, Norris, brown, hall and with the money from them we could maybe just about get someone on loan for a few weeks lol.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Sell them, you would be lucky to give them away

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't think its his lack of trying mate, he wants shut of them they know that too but we need teams who actually want them, ideal situation would be to pay up there contract to free up some wages but do we have the money to do that and secondly would that money be classed in the new financial thing. That's the only way I can see us getting rid

Agree0 Disagree0

How can ye sell any of them when niel no brain wornock gets hem 10/12 grand a week . Mot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Brown and Pugh were graysons signings

Agree0 Disagree0

Warnock gave brown a new and improved rediculous contract. He practically gave him a 2 year deal at the age of 34. For brown to have accepted that he must have got a pay increase which is absurd

Agree0 Disagree0

As much as I completely agree all these players are as bad as Gervinho's haircut, the sight of Michael Brown charging around trying to break legs does make me chuckle.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah to be fair brown should stay!

Lads get yourself down to Elland Road on Saturday the lads will need us

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I said the same when we played wednesday but too many prefer to watch on the telly. and you know the song. if you watching on the telly you're a . you know the rest

Agree0 Disagree0

I will be watching the game on TV on Saturday. I would love to be there but every other weekend I travel down south to be with my son for the weekend. Not ideal but it is what it is. But he will always come first.

My point. Its a stupid song sung by sad people. I am a Leeds fan. I will watch the game on TV and I know I am not a . you know the rest.

So Phil why don't you just accept the fact that you are lucky enough to never miss a game and that you may be the greatest Leeds fan EVER. FACT!.

Or just stop with the negative Bull and rejoice in the fact that we are still unbeaten this season.

Funny how he suddenly starts putting in Man Of The Match performances when there's a chance of a big money move or an improved contract.

He's been with us for 3 years and been pants for most of that.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I would hardly say pants, he's been loyal he loves leeds. he has been called up for Scotland confidence is high? but no its not that its because he wants more money?

Agree0 Disagree0

And this is why the whole idea of the transfer window sucks.

Agree0 Disagree0

Been with us for 3 years but mainly injured or played out of position. The season before last he had a good run in the team, banged in 19 goals & won the YEP player of the season award.
Do your research.
In GFH & McD I trust.
MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Don't you think this is more down to the manager and the style of play BMD plays. Rosco seems to have a lot of time for BMD.

Agree0 Disagree0

His only bad season was his first. his second he netted 19 goals and last season he assisted 12 (joint second in the league) and now he looks to be having a great season so please tell me how most of the times he's been pants?

Agree0 Disagree0

he's the most creative player we have. That's a fact. Take him out of our forward line and we have very little. The last three years he's either been playing 2nd fiddle to Becchio or out of position by Warnock and he's given his all for Leeds. You obviously know f#ck all about football like the rest of the persons that have been coming on here saying we should sell him! He has more vision, class, control, touch, skill and ability than Hunt, Varney, Poleon & Smith put together, not to mention he's capable of scoring more goals too. Aside from Byram, McCormack is the best we have, he's quality so appreciate him while we can.
LUFCMatt

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree with the poster. He's never really looked a player, successive Scotland managers agree. All of a sudden with money being dangled in front of him, he's a world beater. Personally, I've never liked him, even this season, his goal versus Weds was a good goal but the rest of the game he was awful, yesterday his luck was in, his 'assist' was a shot, come on we all know that, a poor shot, a shot he shouldn't have even been taking on, he was miles out, his second was a deflection, the rest of the game, again he was awful, he's having a lucky streak that will soon run out. Get rid, there's better than him playing in non league, to the poster above, its you mate who know sweet fa about football if you think he's skillful. laughable.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said LUFCMatt

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said LUFCMatt. Some geezers are either stupid or just havnt got a clue! Some posters actually believe that Poleon is better than McCormack when really he is an impact player at best because of his pace. At this moment Ross is our most important player and not just because he's scoring at the minute. He is also our best alround attacker.

Agree0 Disagree0

You 'agree with the poster' are you serious haha he might not be amazing but he's the best attacking option we have and you want to get rid :s some people confuse me

Agree0 Disagree0

Name a player of his ability, currently available, who could replace if we were to sell him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seriously r u for real rossco is by far and away r best attacking player by a million miles, sum of you lot make me laugh without him we would b in bottom 5 without a doubt, carried us so far this season attacking wise #creative wise#goals!

Hiya guys for the QPR game next week we really need to fill the stands to give us the chance of 3 points QPR have arguably the best team on paper in the league so were going to need the 12th man. I know its on TV but if you have a spare bit of cash get yourself a ticket to support the almighty whites.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Great post fella, we need all the support we can get. MOT

Great to see the lads off to a great start this year! I will be heading over to the UK at Xmas to get my long overdue fix and breath of what I hope will be a great Elland Road atmosphere. Home games against Barnsley and Blackburn are a given but not sure 2 games will keep me going till I get back to Yorkshire again. Is there anyway I can get tickets for the away games against Blackpool and the Florists to maximise my trip. Go you whites.

Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on with Ryan Hall> Is there a reason he's never going to play, he was signed as a massive prospect on the wing, but he simply is never in the team or doesn't get off the bench?. or is it that he just is rubbish?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I went to watch leeds v dingles last week mate and hall was playing . He was shocking to say the least. The first club to come in with 75 pound he's gone . Its another case of well done wornock . Mot .

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh dear, that's what I thought, another one on a big wage for doing nothing then!

Agree0 Disagree0

I doubt he's on a big wage pal

Some suggestion that he's not fit - looks over weight? Did miss some pre season when he became a father. probably playing catch up.

Agree0 Disagree0

I bet he's on more than me!. pal

Agree0 Disagree0

I also went to oakwell and hall was awful no future at leeds . what was worrying is how poor dawson was hope he was having a off day barnsley white

Agree0 Disagree0

We only paid 150k for him I doubt he's on a significant wage

I see Palace brought in Jason Puncheon. It looks like Bolasie is out of favour after all. I wonder if the rumours about McDermott being interested could be true? I guess Bolasie would command a decent sized fee though.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Bolasie is injured for a month nothing to do with out of favour when fit he's a first team player
