Everyone of this squad contributing at different times different games with Bub and Pablo on it every game so far. the real test will be when we lose one, could actually happen, well eventually and that’s where we all have to also demonstrate why we are the best supported Team in the land. Just saying, just in case.

Big fan of Nick Powell since his Man U days. He is head and shoulders the best player Wigan have on their books. Be happy to have him on board but with what we have and Forshaw yet to come back my only question is, do we need him? IF we can afford him. IF he agrees that he may well be on the bench some weeks then I say Go For It but don't forget CB.

Leo Don't think Foyth or any central defender is arriving now. The successful reinvention of Bera as centre back and Nessy's return to fitness the reasons. Can see us going in for Powell though.

Still not sure about Bamford. Especially in light of Roofes performances. I know he has been restricted to cameo appearances so maybe I will change my mind if he gets a long run of games but I hope that never happens because it would probably mean only one thing.

Roofe has been outstanding, possibly since the arrival of Bamford . competition is good

When and if Bamford gets his chance, he knows the standard now required to stay in.

I think Roofe is just a grafter and is improving as he does the hard yards in training. I was impressed with Bamford against Swansea. That turn on the defender for the second goal was absolutely class. A good plan B to have and different to how Roofe plays too.

I think Bamford will come good, nice to see him having a good game against Preston.

I think that Bamford has more pace than Roooooofe but young Kemar has a better close control, so, take your pick, ATM Kemar is in the driving seat thanks to his full preseason with Bub.

Afternoon folks. Had a chance to watch the extended highlights and one observation.

What was encouraging is that even with an off colour Saiz, we were able to create and score through others. Indeed I think Saiz missed 2 or 3 opportunities to score. Think he needs a goal. Ok he was still on the field and drawing players and fouls, but Hernandez, Alioski with the addition of Kilch are able to add the creativity if Saiz is off the pace or marked out of the game.

Was I also right in thinking there was no bucket, was that another fiendish trick from the Norwich backroom team or did someone forget to put it on the bus!

Totally Spanish. Re saiz and creativity. That was a big positive from yesterday for me too. I'm confused about the bucket tho, as yesterday I was sure MB was sat on a chair for a bit, but then today I've seen him in pics on his bucket? Maybe he changed his seating at half time tactically?

It’s a nice thought LIG, trying not to get to carried away only 4 games in with some great performances. Still think we need CB cover now and someone who can play wide and CAM roles, it’s a long time till January if we get suspensions and/ or injuries.

However enjoying how we are just sweeping away other teams at the moment. And we are king dicks top of the league. Fans were brill yesterday loud n proud, never stopped singing.

I'm a new poster. Enjoyed reading the banter page over last couple of seasons. Great to feel connected to other Leeds fans. Get down to 3 or 4 games a season from Scotland. Been a die hard fan since 1970. Saw us getting beat by Chelsea in replay after being all over them for two games, and that was it. The Scottish influence in the team at the time was what made me a Leeds fan. For some reason my parents bought me a Chelsea strip that Christmas. never spoke to them again.
Thoughts so far. Great start and looking like a completely different outfit to last year. Douglas has fitted in seamlessly. Like other posters I worry about our strength in depth and would like to see a couple of additions . Not hugely convinced by Bamford or Harrison but Baker been good when he's come on. Bielsa very impressive so far with his respect for opponents, opposition coaches and squeezing what he has out of the players. It's been a long hard road for us all and I hope, God I hope, that this is the year. What a big game next week. I promise my posts won't all be this long. MOT.

also lucas I am over Beradi a bit this year, think he has cut out his mistakes and bookings, still don't like him at CB because he is 5'8 and too little but he can't help that if people keep putting him there.
