Ed025. I am in full agreement on the Heaton over Hart debate. I just have the feeling that Dyche will return to the Pope or Heaton choice soon as he attempts to rekindle last years Burnley
I think Hart will be made the scapegoat.

Hull are doing ok at present and I can imagine it would be great looking forward to playing us at the moment. We don't do stale games these days. Also, if Hull lose to us, they will not feel bad and if they win they will be happier than after the average win. I can see why Adkins fancies it. Great day out for them and not too far to travel. We simply don't appear to do complacency or towel throwing these days, so I reckon we will do em. The only team that unease me a tad at present are Brom. With injuries etc behind them they are on fire and I can't see them dropping many points, whilst Derby, Boro, Villa etc all look fallible on their day. I know it is still early days, but it is starting to feel like George's Xmas wish for 99 points might not be implausible. Loving listening to everyone in the football talking about Leeds, all for positive reasons. Best time to be one of us for ages.

Hull on their own winning streak, it's got the making of a good game. 3 games in a week and some of the players may be a bit leggy, but winning has the knack of driving the team on. I hope our run continues until after the forest game and I would gladly forfeit the FA cup match.

I can remember not so long ago, when the suggestion of us winning 16 out of the next 22 would have seemed fanciful to say the least, whereas now it seems rather ambitious, but not particularly unrealistic. I wonder what odds those who like a bet would have got pre season, for us bettering 90 points this season? Pretty good I would imagine.

In 73 - 74 we started the season with 29 games unbeaten, a record at the time, but I aren't sure how many consecutive wins were in there.

After we lost to WBA I predicted 5 wins and 2 losses as I thought we genuinely would loose to sheff United and villa but win the others . Never expected us to win 7 games in a row . And the manner of the victories show absolute commitment, fitness and will to win . We look like we really really want it this season . If we can get berardi, coops and bamford back to full fitness and hopefully Izzy brown one day he will essentially be a new signing . We will have a tidy squad and add a couple of very carefully selected players in January .

He picks a week before the January window to commit his latest blooper. Bad timing or what? Gary Sprake was a good GK but he did make a fair share of mistakes. How much more we would have won if he was just a little more reliable. If it is going to happen I hope we go for the very best we can. It may make all the difference come May.
PS A CentreBack would not go amiss either.

Good point Wex, only four weeks ago he saved the late penalty to clinch the points at Reading. Having said that not sure at this moment we have a stronger replacement who is ready to go.
Bub took the unusual step of saying Blackman was to replace BOF prior to his unfortunate injury, so I believe the most likely signing of January will be a keeper.
That being said for such a young lad he is streets ahead of Felix and our strongest keeper we have just now, so lots of praise and encouragement from me and hope that he learns quickly he’s a great kid. ALAW.

Felix, Lonners or BPF? He’s young and learning, if the first 2 were half decent he’d be learning still for the Unders, but like all the Academy players it’s great to see them being given a chance rather than being left to rot outside of the first team like at so many other clubs. We have a great youth policy and not BPF fault he has to learn in the spotlight so we have to cut him some slack and not get on his back like so many did with KP. MOT.

My god . just watched Norwich game. These top 2 teams know how to keep fighting . Norwich was 3 down then scored in 90 and twice in injury time to grab a deserved point.

Another brilliant victory, I was happy to get 2 - 2 but to snatch the victory, amazing! We can't complain after two injury time winners, but Norwich games do seem to go on a bit, at least they didn't win. A lot of good performances, but Philips again was top draw. Should be another tough game on Saturday as Hull seem to have hit a bit of form, but hopefully we can get the three points.

EFL told the ref at Norwich game to just keep playing until the Canaries got their third. Couldn't let Leeds get too far ahead.
As it is the ref for our game is on the table for not calling it quits after 90.

Hoping for a good result today. Hope the team has recovered from what must have been a titanic effort against Villa. Always worry about these games at home than some of the away games.
