Mrs Class put her foot down as grandchildren to spoil, but kept sneaking a look on my phone for updates.

So for me (not having watched) this felt the opposite of Cardiff game a plus draw as opposed to a negative one.

Results went with us generally but someone rightfully said after the Fulham game irrespective of what we do just now none of the chasing pack are roaring away with it and it really is about matching at worst and bettering if possible teams in the top eight so as to maintain the gap.

Happy tonight with the points gap to third fantastic keep it going boys. #getpromotiondone.

I personally thought Dallas flattered to deceive yet again. I thought all our problems stemmed from the fact only Phillips made himself available to recieve the ball out of defence. Dallas, Klich, Harrison and Costa hardly ever moved and showed for the ball so PNE just marked Phillips out of the game. Hence the reason White and Cooper were putting in the inaccurate long crossfield passes to the isolated Bamford. And later on Casilla was doing the same with inaccurate passing to the full backs.
It only my opinion but we missed Henandez yesterday. He always wants the ball and he will always occupy 2 of the opposition which means at least one of our players is unmarked.

Totally agree Axe. It was a bit hustle and bustle in the midfield and we lacked that composure/ control that Pablo (and Forshaw) provide.

We do need another creative force to back up Pabs. Someone with vision. He is so key to our play, even if he isn’t creating, because he keeps the opposition thinking.

Sound bite from Kinnear suggests that Clarke will not be replaced. Only the cancellation of the Nketiah loan will prompt action. Very poor.

If we are in the market for loaning talent of the quality of Clarke then why not just promote from our own U23s?
Gotts, Stevens and the Carlisle lads must not be too far behind were Clarke is at the moment. I can't see the benefit of looking at this level of player for the 2nd half of the season as we now need players who can make the difference. A guaranteed 'starter' type of player. with the loan-to-buy figure already in the contract.

At this moment I can't see us paying the £15m option on Costa or the £10m option on Harrison, but we have a long way to go this season and hopefully the sporadic flashes of brilliance can become more and more commonplace and these loans-to-buy become our assets for next season.

Start of season I read online from a host of wolves fans, that only Leeds could make it feel that they had got. a quality player in Costa, my God he is woeful and he's cost £15mill, sad but true.

Guys, Chris Chris is normally very negative but he does have half a point here. If we are all honest we would like to see more from a £15m player in the Championship.

I think the difference between Chris and most of us is that we are supporting him in the belief that his form will improve under the tutelage of Biesla (like Cooper, Dallas, Alioski, Klich, Bamford and Harrison)

Absolute rubbish, misplaced passes order of the day, Cooper letting us know how bad he can be, Costa thinks he still at training ground .
It was clear after 5 mins we were going to concede 1st, my big problem is we can't adapt to counter press and the by-passing of midfield .
Only silver lining could be surely radz has got to be thinking of last Xmas and how ultimately he messed that up, so surely we need reinforcements next week.

Bright, to be fair to Chris I wasn't too pleased with the way we passed it out of defence yesterday either. But in defence of Cooper, who was actually asking for the ball.

On another point, but relevant I hope, am I right is saying Harrison is right footed and playing on the left, whilst Costa is left footed and playing on the right?

Generally I have never had a problem with this as I know that it helps when cutting-in so they shoot with the stronger foot. Also the full backs have to tackle with their weaker foot. But yesterday I kept seeing both pull the ball back on to the stronger foot before crossing. That extra time needed to transfer on to the better foot seemed to allow PNE just enough time to put in last ditch tackles.

Wow! Those results went for us in injury time at Stoke and Barnsley. I think Apo Halme may be the new Peter Crouch the way he put that away. Let's hope we make the most of it now! 🤞.

Clarke has been only half bothered playing for the U23s this season Whiteman . he has done absolutely nothing this season.
