Replying to those who think we got a good deal for Lewis Cook . He wanted a decent contract instead he was offered pittance by Cellino ( the saviour) then the saviour cashed in 7 million . he's now worth 4 times that . He would still be at Leeds if the saviour could have seen what all Leeds fans saw that Lewis was a future England international and most proberly future England captain. and Charlie Taylor the same offered less money than he was already on . no wonder we are a mid table team in the championship Wake up All.

So what’s your point Whitelight?

Asset stripping. Cost of rewarding himself for his defeat over GFwhogivesa. For that, he will always have a place in my heart irrespective of his shenanigans.

Whiteman in disguise? The lads wanted to go but i agree the money for Cook was all wrong imo. He definitely was undersold.

Whitelight, I still really don’t get what point you are making about MC, he’s gone and so has Cook, Wood, Green and Taylor, they have been for gone for months so I really don’t know why you are dragging this up! and in all your slaying of what’s happened why has MC got all the backlash when all the damage to our beautiful club was caused by MasterBates and the idiots that tried to strangle us to death after Bates sold us! MC was the saviour, maybe not a popular on but definitely a good one, forget the players Whitelight, and please tell me where we would be now as a club if he hadn’t bought us when nobody else wanted us! Stupid remarks like that can not be classed as an opinion but more of a unprovoked character assassination! What’s done is done, there is enough happeningnow to have an opinion about without going back 6 months!

A tad harsh Mike, as I seem to recall many "what if we still had wood, green and Taylor? " Not just from White?

Agree1 Disagree2

27 Feb 2018 22:34:28
Not from me you didn’t! What about when we became a mess and had to sell all our big players for next to nothing, all I’m saying is that it’s gone we have had all our say about it and it’s still getting brought up, we can’t change it and regardless of what we wanted those players wanted to go because let’s be honest why wouldn’t they as they want to play in the Premiership on big bucks! We are not ready and not properly equipped to go up and stay up, but we can’t keep blaming the past or MC, there are many people to blame before MC, Cook, Taylor, Byram, Wood and £15M looks good for Wood now doesn’t it, as he’s been out injured and unable to get a run going just like when he was at Leicester!

Cheers pal and a bloody good point above made by you about Cook! In all honesty mate you know what I think about you’re posts, like George, Mezzer, Leodis and Martyn and lots others on here, all of the posts are great, some positive some not but whatever they are they are honest and you have to give respect ✊ for that! You know Whiteman that I thought the early posts you posted were wrong but again total respect as you were right but I am sick of MC getting the blame as he steadied a very wobbly ship, he made mistakes but he did it with good intentions, it’s time we looked at today and onwards now and if we remember how it was we can start fully appreciating a new beginning but we have a lot to sort out now to get things right for tomorrow!

Looking at fixtures of all the other teams in the mix for 6th place, They all have lots of games against each other, top half sides or teams fighting relegation. If we can close the gap to 2 points, we would be in with a shout. Season is not over yet.

Can't understand the negativity of some posters this season is not over by a long shot. Last season should be an example of that. On our day we are a match for any team.

Wex, what day would this be? Mervyn? Lol. If it's the day Wiedwald acts like a goal keeper instead of a goal facilitator then I quite agree. When was that again?

26 Feb 2018 23:36:35
It is especially in Yorkshire but Yorkshire ain't hell. If it's outside Yorkshire not worth bothering with. What's your point, Vex? Miracles happen? It was there for the taking this season. Next season will probably be the toughest in this league since 2004/5.

I bet Aussie will be happy. We've signed a new keeper for next season. Matthew Turner. But wait, what is this I'm hearing from the Orta the oracle 'he's one for the future '. Bugger, I hear you all say🤔

Gelderd 6 years. Good sentence.

The solitary disagreer of Gelderd and my post was probably Aizlewood himself. Puter time from the jail and he's logged on. Stupid Welsh greed.

Was Wilko boss then? I thought it was before him.

Wilko was in charge he subbed him after he scored a header but he stuck his fingers up at the kop he never played for us again and was sold.

If you want to read the truth and a good article about Aizlewood track down 2 pieces about him. First is on a forum called Sheridan dictates. Second is any news report about an assault he committed on a news journalist about 14 years ago. Vile human being.

Could we pick up 26 points from the remaining fixtures, maybe at a push if we hit form. That would give us 75 points . Over a quarter of the season left so it is possible. If we were 2 points off top six with 6 or 8 games to go we could be in with a good chance so all is not lost just yet.

I can't really get too excited about extra funds coming into the club. First somebody has to agree to spend it on players and if they do Victor is going to be the one responsible for spending it. A possible lose -lose as far as on the pitch development goes.

We got a good price for him. Cellino did a good job

Agree2 Disagree0

26 Feb 2018 18:32:07
cellino was second to none when it come to getting a good price for our players, none of the ken bates quick fire sale to pay for his yatch and window cleaner. he also reinvested a fair amount as well, some leeds fans do make me question where their minds are at but for me I will always be very grateful for what he did for our club
