As I'm in gods own county for the week, thought I'd sus out the under 23s tonight. Huffer, gotts, Davis, Diaz, struijk, nicell, Stevens, mccalmont, edmondson, Dalby and Clarke.

Clarke was full of tricks as usual but stand out was the way Edmonson just bossed Bassong, they subbed him lol. Good match but missed a lot of chances, Dalby a bit off his game but Clarke, Edmonson, Stevens, Gotts all looked good and Kamwa when he came on looked a handfull. 1-1 But i think the ref was waiting for them to score before he blew time.

Spot on Bige, have to say guys, great experience if you get the chance, 3 pounds well spent. First time I have seen Clarke so close, magical feet sometimes, Edmundson a beast as I’d Kamwa and he can move with the ball. Struijk, I thought had a good game and with his height could be a prospect and nice to see Halme getting some minutes at the end.

It was also good to get close to Corbaran and his coaching team. He and the team were really gutted to have conceded at the end. As Bige said we should have been home and dry, like to see some highlights but must have created 5/ 6 really good goal scoring opportunities. But the style of play is good and they really want to win.
I would imagine that given this team tonight and the fact there were no early subs that none of these players will be part of tomorrow night, we’ll see.

Clarke is ready to move up, and I was impressed by mccalmont. Strujic and Diaz in a year. Dalby was asked to play a different role tonight as Eds was lead striker, which didn't suit him (Dalby, that is) . All looks good tho. Very pleased!

Leif Davis, the young land who came from Morecambe had a good game as well. Clarke is full of skill but I’m not sure if he’s up to the kind of fitness levels that Bielsa wants.

McAlmont had a strong first half but disappeared a bit in the second . Bit I agree Bright, it’s looks and feels good when you watch them.

Giw. good shout but I'd love clarke and bamford to start. baford 60 mins then edmondson.
Like to see 5 changes and think he will. keep em all having to perform to keep the shirt.

I imagine with a game v Preston on Tuesday and a big game v boro Friday bielsa will be making the changes again .

Blackman I'm sure will start then we got to be looking at playing shaugnessy, tom Pearce, baker Bamford Tyler Roberts Shackleton and Harrison from the start .

Maybe worth looking at a couple u23s .

When u play 3 games every 7-9 days like u do in the champ this is when I look at squad and think maybe we need a couple more first team players to rotate in .

I'm hoping for Preston, Bielsa will name Jack Clarke and Ryan Edmondson among the substitutes.

I’d change whole team except Jansen tbh.
Bigger fish to fry this season than the cara cup.
They all need a rest for Boro game.
