Irrespective of who we sign now we are looking at playing the championship side minus White for probably at least the first month of the season . This is especially so if we sign foreign based players requiring 14 days self isolation . This means we line up against the likes of Liverpool, Wolves and Man City with a defence containing Cooper and Struijk or Ayling at centre back . You can blame the club for being once again a little naive over wasting time on BW or just circumstances. Either way the first month of the season is going to be critical to how we transition into premier league life . It requires in my view MB to have turned Struijk into BW mark 2 over preseason . Anything less or god forbid he moves Ayling to CB and we will be playing serious catch up for the rest of the season .

Struijik + Liams confidence could take a very hard hit in the 1st few games, but with bubs teaching things might workout, however we really do need CB, s in as soon as, but I get the feeling we are about to announce a few new additions.

No matter who we face guys we're giving everyone a right game in this fancy Dan league.
We have a band of brothers, from players, coaching staff, admin, cleaners, catering staff, fans.
This league won't know what's hot them. Any team taking any points from us will be knackered when they get back in the changing rooms.

I’ve always rated Pascal and was really pleased to see how he played in the last few games. In a way it is a no risk opportunity for him if he plays. It’s against a Liverpool attack that took apart many very good sides last year. He will be judged against the highest standards and if he has a good game imagine that, if he struggles, it is Liverpool after all and we are trying to spend close to 30million on a centre back! If he comes out of it with a good performance, imagine the boost that gives him and the squad!

Heard on radio talksport that Leeds have signed Rodrigo. Andy Jacobs was asking a Spanish football expert about Rodrigo, he said excellent player with great left foot who loves getting in behind defenders and having a shot on goal. Also said Leeds getting a very good player at a good price, apparently Valencia fans been protesting outside the club to this sale.

I hope Ben White signs a new deal with Brighton now, if the club aren't going to let him go then hopefully he gets a nice new contract and gets chance to prove Himself in the Prem and good luck to him . If he’s going to Liverpool, ManU or Chelsea then good luck to the fella, he’ll be on a far superior wage than what we could give him plus the prospect of medals, he might not get the game time but so what. If he goes any where else he’s a made an error. For us I think we’ll be fine and if it is Koch then great, but it may take a while for him to adjust to Bielsa’s intensive regime. Remember we felt the same way when we lost Pontus. Totally believe in Bielsa to sort this out.

He could go to Citeh but he’d be in their development squad for quite some time, may get some cup matches at best. Wouldn’t surprise me if he went to Dirty Chelsea.
So long as Bielsa sticks around there’s a small possibility of a trophy or Europa league football at best for us and that is being hugely optimistic over the forthcoming seasons. Unless we get a massive investor.

Think we should confine the Ben White story to our wonderful promotion history and be thankful we had him when we did. I actually don’t blame Brighton for their stance it’s what loans are intended to do, just as when Klich went out on loan and came back a first team player.
What if poor Ryan Edmondson shakes off his injury woes and becomes record goal scorer in Scottish football, we would want him back, no expect him back irrespective of how much he was loved by the club, players or supporters, that’s how it works and was the reason Brighton never permitted a loan to buy, unlike Citeh with Jack.
Who’s to say that Koch or alternative signing is not better than Ben? How many people wrote Ben off or said he would never fill Pontus boots but he did and Koch or whomever will fill Bens, maybe Koch not as skilful but from reports he’s stronger and better in the air, if bubs has the players he wants in the system he wants we will be ok, scoring enough goals will be our biggest challenge this season.
Last titbit from the Brighton academy coach their captain Lewis Dunk will be sold and Ben and Webster will be their starting centre pairing this season.
So thanks Ben hope you do well next season (obviously not against us) and let’s get excited about Koch errr that didn’t come out right wait that’s worse oh you know what i mean.

Well put class, I agree entirely. Don't believe that any of the top teams will want to pay Brighton's valuation or are interested. It's Ben's agent trying to hike. He was great for us and will always wish him well, but he will be at Brighton this coming season.

I'm absolutely paranoid Rodrigo will get a knee injury in training and miss the season and will hardly been seen in a Leeds shirt before playing for somewhere like Alicante or almeria in 3 years .
I don't think we will see him meet the first team though for about 6 games in to season
I still maintain the starting line up v Liverpool will be the same line up we finished the champ season Except minus white instead Ayling or strujk at CB.

Players do get injured, it’s a part of the game, admittedly we have had some bad luck with that in the past and if it does happen then Roberts has to up his game or he’s gone at the end of the season.

Lan Shearer ruptured both his cruciate and anterior knee ligaments and still ended up with a few goals to his name so let’s hope Rodrigo stays well away from those type of injuries.
