Time to stop all the negativity guys. I know things look bad at the mo, but I also know that we are going to get six points from the next two games. Time to enjoy the football and forget Takeovers until there is something concrete to talk about.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I hope you are right mate but don't you think all the uncertainty off the field will affect the players? I just wish everything got sorted and we could all move forward MOT.

Agree0 Disagree0

Enjoy the football? Were the worst team in the league for attractive football. Takeover done on Wednesday and a good signing Friday is what we want

How come none of you nay sayers have got anything to say about the development squad's result this afternoon? A hat trick for Smith and goals from Hunt and Zaliukas. Three players who all come in for stick from the" experts"
Chris

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Because they are three professional footballers who have scored for the Under 21s?

Agree0 Disagree0

All three are a waste of money!

Agree0 Disagree0

They aren't under 21's anymore, they are calledthe development squad and they were playing the dev squad of a premiership team.

Agree0 Disagree0

All three were not a waste of money. They were all freebies

Agree0 Disagree0

I know Noel Hunt VERY well when he's 100% a lot of so called Leeds fans will be eating humble pie. A player who tried his best when only 75% fit and got slated for it. Maybe the fans would prefer a player 100% fit that don't put the commitment in? Ummmm

Agree0 Disagree0

Would like nothing better than Noel Hunt to show his form at start of season was not the real him. If he comes in and proves to be a winner would be great!

Agree0 Disagree0

30 odd goals in 5 years . Hows is he going to win the fan over with a record like that?

Looks very like the Yorkshire giant is in its death throws. Stuck down by the irresponsible over spending of Ridsdale, infected by the cancer of Bates and now lying there being picked over by the vultures from Baharain. Is this the bacteria moving in to clean up the bones or maybe, just maybe a shot in the arm to revive the the mighty whites. Personally I can't stand much more. We need to let them hear our feelings tomorrow night!!!

Believable0 Unbelievable0

That cheered me up no end

The next 3 games are well winnable, I still think we can get promoted, even though we got beaten 6 nil, i'd keep varney and try get diouf fit and drop austin for murphy/mowatt and play smith when available in a 4 4 2, we have a lot of deadwood but we have 14/15 decent players. Keep the faith there is still a lot of points up for grabs

Deco the dub

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Fancy us to draw against Ipswich but we will get hammered by the Terriers

Agree0 Disagree0

If we get 3 points out of the next 3 games I will be surprised.

Agree0 Disagree0

14/15 good players? I think more nearer 7/8 tops . More like 14/15 needed .

Agree0 Disagree0

We do not have 14 good players. We don't even have 4. They are obviously Ross. The other 2 are Sam Byram and on this season current form Jason Pearce. Kenny and Austin and Zaliukas are the others who threatened the good category but their most recent performances ruined that. Mowatt became tired so he isn't in there either. The rest of our squad is average champion ship quality at best. We only have 3 good players!

Kenny, byram, warnock, brown, pearce, zalilukas, peltier, green, diouf, ross, smith, varney, pugh then there's a few out of form that could come good, austin, lees, hunt, kebbie and cameron, murphy, mowatt

Deco the dub

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree next 3 games are well winnable.
but I thought that about 4 of the previous 5 games so that doesn't count.
a defeat tonight and its really nail in the coffin time.
1.0 ross to score . 25 to 1. shrew leeds

Brian McDermott looked defeated and as cheesed off as we are in his pre match interview due to this long drawn out take over. He kept on using the word 'limbo' when asked about bringing players in. He doesn't have a clue like us. I sick to the back teeth of waiting and waiting for takeovers to happen. Nothing's ever simple with leeds united. Jim_lufc

Believable0 Unbelievable0

He only used the word limbo after somebody else put it in his mouth. He was struggling to think of the word. However clearly the Club is in limbo which is why Brian kept on saying deal must be done as soon as possible. There will be no players coming in until ownership is sorted!

We are the laughing stock of the football league, by the time the takeover is done we will be back in league 1. How can it take so long, this will be the second take over by people with no money. The future is bleak to say the least and expect that to be mirrored by a mass stay away tomorrow for the Ipswich game. I for one am sick to bloody death with the state of our club, these persons have not got a clue and they will take us from bad to worse. I for one am voting with my feet,

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Why do people attempt to takeover if they have No money to improve the team with quality players? I just don't understand how a sleeping giant of a club like ours with huge potential doesn't attract genuine ambitious owners? MOT

Agree0 Disagree0

Well done, stay away. That'll solve all the problems at the club. After all we need less revenue coming in, and less support for the team.

Agree0 Disagree0

Got my ticket, the team need all the help they can get.

Agree0 Disagree0

The reason no one of any consequence is interested in our great club is we have no assets.no ground.not even our training ground. all goes back at least 10 years unfortunately

I might be stating the obvious here but, there is one common denominator between the deal for K Bates to sell to GFH and the deal for Haigh's consortium to buy from GFH. GFH! They are the problem it seems. There are many possible reasons for this, but it can't be just a coincidence (can it?)

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Well, actually. Yes it can!

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree, I think GFH are the main cause of the delay.
That said, you would imagine that D Haigh would know all about that, having worked for them for a while!

Agree0 Disagree0

It's not a coincidence, they are awkward swines to deal with!

I don't see the benefit of selling Varney to Blackburn. I still think he has something to offer, so I just hope that there is a replacement lined up quickly.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Id rather see hunt or even poleon leave rather then varney he plays with passion and has a fair bit of pace - or better yet how about sell Morrison to millwall I don't see why he's even still on out books surely we could get some money for him?

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd rather see none leave at most poleon out on loan, a team above us in the league obviously realise varney has something to offer, as I'm sure most leeds fans do. Hopefully he won't go either.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeh, totally agree with this, I think when he got some stick, it affected his confidence, but seeing him play the other week, he gave much more then hunt has, and both of them are similar players. I think he should be kept, very good in the air, and a player I think that will sit comfortably working around ross.

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope Varney and hunt go. Both not good enough. I want 20 goals a season not semi passion and 20 bookings. Varney only worked hard against Leicester as he hadn't played for months

I fear the worst until this is resolved. Us fans are left in limbo (as usual) with no light at the end of the tunnel and no signings on the horizon until we understand just exactly where the money will come from in the first place. Predict the Cellino story to subside into the distance whilst poor old BMD is left to take the flack for some over inflated expectations of fans who 6 weeks ago worshipped the ground he walked on! Here's to hoping for a quick turnaround and GFH finally release us from this stranglehod and we (at least) get to see what Sport Capital Haigh & Co. have in store for us. MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

6 weeks ago worshiped him I don't think so. Weve been playin awfull for a few months now barring a few lucjy results
These brian till I die peoplen eed to realise that if he looses the next 2 games he's most likely to b sacked. This is the worst form and probably the worst team in my lifetime(25) and unfirtunatly bmd is partly to blame, if we've got no money then hr needs to work with ehat he has, which imo has shown some poor decisions and tactics

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm wanting to give McD time and I know he's not having the best of support from the board, but neither did Warnock or Grayson. Like the 2nd poster states if we are to go down in the next two games and with one being against the dog botherers we will have the worst string of results in the league.

On west ham twitter page it says that they aren't expecting to bring in any more players. Ross deal off?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Is it my imagine or are the majority of these rumours re Ross and Cellino take over coming from one news paper, the Daily Mail. I have seen little or no coverage in other papers (bit in Mirror think). Others have reported Westham interest and rejection £3.5m but Daily Mail seem to think they know more! They are still saying today Ross will be sold for £4m + £1m on appearances. They are also saying today that Cellino still talking to GFH re take over despite reports elsewhere. It was the Daily Mail who started the rumours last week which the Italian media copied and blew up. Does the Daily Mail have an agenda to add to the unrest at Leeds Utd?!

Sam A quoted - Those two signings take us to our 25 man squad limit. I don't expect to be doing anymore. SO either he will leave us alone now, or we will be involved in a cash + player deal.

Hi lads

West ham fan in peace here. I am told from very reliable person that west ham have been told £5 million bid and McCormack can go and they will pay it.

Shame to see what's happening to your club - apparently you don't really have any option but to sell.

We were in same trouble but a couple of supporters took us over and saved us.

Not sure that McCormack will cut it in prem anyway.

Good luck

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - Big Sam has said that his squad is now full, ie, 25 man squad limit. To get McCormack there would have to be departures at West Ham}

3.5-4mill plus a player (Vaz Te for instance) sounds perfectly reasonable to me.
Might have enough to buy Griffiths, Le Fondra and a midfielder or defender then.
They would have to replace him with somebody who can score though or we'll go down quicker than Jurgen Klinsman

Agree0 Disagree0

Quite right ed on west ham now have 25 man limit.
but perhaps won't stop an offer with a player thrown in.
id take vaz te and 2 mill.or 4 mill plus matt taylor.
as long as we can use the money for another out and out striker. shrew leeds.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - I think that is a likely option to be honest and to be fair Vaz Te will do ok if it was to happen}

Ed - if this is true would you expect a loanee from west ham to knock their squad size down and free the space up for McCormack? Don't know if they are alowed to do that though do you?

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - I would say a swap plus cash deal, but a loan could happen}

Is Vaz Te not injured?

Agree0 Disagree0

You assume the money would be reinvested in players? GFH ain't going to spend another penny on players!

What a farce this takeover is you"ve got in the yep saying that the Faran group ready with another bid, sports capitial still saying were commited to the take over what the hell is going on.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

RE:My post yesterday, "We always get plopped on from a great height"Well yet again another transfer stopper due to the chuckle brothers making a bid, next it will be the cast of a Yorkshire farming soap have made a bid so the livestock can graze at TA.Big Mark.ps I have much more to say but I need to take my pet crab called pincher out for a walk.BigMark.

Get the feeling the rumoured improved 5M bid might be enough to for the Leeds board to accept a transfer for McCormick. That money could buy a few decent players for this league and save the current board from putting there hands in there pockets. Not saying that they should accept, I think they could get more but mainly I would prefer that he stayed.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

I think the only thing that will stop mccormack been sold is the sale of sam byram as rb is a cheaper position to replace especially when we have players available to play rb at the club. I don't want to see either player leave but until we have 20+ mil sat in our transfer kitty players will be sold

Leeds are not in danger of going into administration. 1 gfh had to prove they had the funds to run the club when they took over. 2 the loan would of never been made to buy players in the first place due to finantial fair play rules. 3 sport capital wouldn't make a loan if it couldn't be paid back. 4 wouldn't they of accepted 4m for ross mcormack if we was in danger of going into administation. 5 david haigh said that there isn't much left to do takeover wise. 6 david haigh said today they have been working hard this weekend obviously about the takeover. 7 gfh has made a decnet profit. 8 gfh has already announced to the stock market leeds has been sold. 9 papers are NEVER true about this sort of thing. 10 salah noruddin owns part of gfh and the club so he has no money eithr. 11 gfh have been buying houses down south for like 15 mi so obviously have loads of money. 12 has the papers seen gfh and the clubs financial records. I could go on but this wouldn't get posted

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Perfectly logical and reasonable. This is LUFC though so probably completely wrong! Everything you think can't possibly be right probably is. Hope not but the way owners treat LUFC makes you think nothing logical happens. Agree though Administration won't happen. In no ones interest.
