Tonge is the worst player I've seen in a Leeds shirt, pathetic!

Believable2 Unbelievable22

Tonge had a bad game today shame really he had a brilliant game against sheff wednesday and has shown general promise as a leeds player

Tonge is a very good player who had a teriffic game at sheff wedenesday and is totally out of form after today's lack luster performance but he will bounce back. Is a great shame he played poor today because of the other performances. but he is a brilliant player

Agree9 Disagree1

Agree8 Disagree0

Tonge is a really good player as he showed in the derby with that outstanding goal but a great shame he played poorly today when we could have gone in to top 5 he should bounce back along with the team

Agree8 Disagree1

Ray Wallace and Russel Doig were two of the worst players I have ever seen. Tonge is a 1000 times better

Agree3 Disagree1

Michael Tonge was carrying an injury today and he ran through the pain barrier. He deserves a medal for stepping up, he didn't cry off, no "not today gaffer" from him.
Morley Whites.

Agree3 Disagree1

You obviously never saw Wayne Entwistle, Brian Caswell and David Harle. JD

Poor again today from the lads, we seem to have lost the meaning of the word football, we can seem to get the ball down and play football, I can't remember the last time we put 5 passes together in attacking move, only passes we strong together usually result in Kenny have posession! Using the keeper Is all well and good, but it's all the time, it gives the opposition time to regroup and get back into position and we have to start again. Not going to start knocking Warnock as his record says it all, and he's taken worse teams up, all we need is that bit of pace up front, play two actual wingers and let Diouf go in the free role and be able to create chances, two many changes in and out of the team, we need consistent starting 11, we have too many midfielders this year and Warnock doesn't know who to start unfortunately. Jerome in on loan, hall and Diouf on the wings, Austin holding Norris CAM! Can't wait for McCormack to come back!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

27 Oct 2012 23:17:30
Diouf in a free role or on the wing ? Make up your mind!

Agree2 Disagree0

We need to get in January with hopfully good funds stronger defenders, as strong as Austin i think , a tricky winger with great speed and possibly another striker for backup for Becchio then I think we can go up possibly automatic or play offs

Will warnock be out for Christmas if no takeover?
Believable=yes
Unbelievable=no

Believable15 Unbelievable17

Takeovers all but done so why post crap like this.

Agree7 Disagree2

I hope so. Cant take anymore of these terrible displays and this long ball nonsense. I d take it if we were winning but we are lucky if we get a draw.

Agree5 Disagree4

Knowing our luck bate's pen will run out as he signs

Agree3 Disagree0

So who would you give the job to then
Maybe mourinho or redknapp
Clown
Russ

Agree1 Disagree1

Not sacked, walks, Jesus like some people think he'd be at the mercy of us more like the other way around!

Agree2 Disagree0

Warnock is only staying because he is resting on the fact that we had a long unbeaten run. However if you actually look at those games we drew most of them and won while playing poorly somethings just not right at the training ground

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Oct 2012 18:42:40
Nuffs enough been to the last 4 games and the players look pissed of ans stressed I don't think Neil wornocks methods are working takeover or no take over Leeds will not be going up with wornocks as manager Richie 1979

Believable5 Unbelievable8

For me it's not warnock it's the f***ing takeover and no money. With 6mill warnock would walk this league. But just our luck.

Agree6 Disagree3

+ 6 mil on the players we already have.

Agree1 Disagree1

Sounds like people are starting to wake up to Warnock and not before time. I've used the words 'going nowhere under Warnock' pretty much since day one and been on the receiving end of a lot of abuse on here. I wanted to be proved wrong but it's not looking that way and I don't take any pleasure in saying 'I told you so'. Nor did I enjoy hearing the first 'Warnock Out' shouts I heard from the Kop today either - not my view of how to support your team.

I'll say what I've said before - he's a dinosaur rooted in an outdated style of play. Long ball and kicking the opposition just doesn't work any more.

And for all those who said 'wait until he has his own players' what's your excuse now? Please don't talk about budgets. He had more to spend in the summer than the last two managers ever had and all he's brought in, with the exception of Diouf, is a load of ageing, dross journeymen. The token young player, Peltier, has been dire. Varney leaves me speechless and not in a good way. Green, Norris, Tonge & Drury are decent enough squad players but nowhere near promotion standard. Kenny is perhaps marginally better than Lonergan but half a million better? Don't think so. Only Pearce was worth spending on quite honestly.

The worrying thing about today is that it was our best performance in 4 games. We somehow scraped 5 points we didn't deserve in the previous 3. That kind of luck won't continue.

Going nowhere under Warnock.

Agree9 Disagree6

Agree, I would give him until Christmas and if nothing changes then he can go for me.

Agree4 Disagree2

Think what you mean is where going no where under bates

Agree3 Disagree3

Neil warnock is a brilliant manager we have been getting some good results and could and should have gone up to top 5 if we beat charlton and birmingham which in my opinion six points should have been got from both. he has got us some good players and is exceptional at buying players look at a website when ever he was linked with a player he got that player with no money given in january when we will have money look who he gets

Agree3 Disagree5

He has tried to get rid of the crap Grayson bought whilst trying to build a new team under a tight budget
Yes varney and peltier crap but Grayson wanted peltier too
So who would you suggest putting in charge
You play football to win and if warnock thinks the style of play suits our average squad then I trust in him
Chelsea bored there way to champions league glory last season but bet there fans dint moan about that
Warnock will get us up we had lots of games with poor squad and fatigue took over
Keep the faith
Russ

Agree1 Disagree4

People starting to wake up?, person, one or two moaning fans , warnock is the right man for the job ,we're still only one win from the play offs , and only 13 games gone.we're going thru a bad patch but still picked up points. its people like this muppet that gets true fans agitated

Agree1 Disagree3

'You play football to win'. And tell me, is that working? Even the game we won recently, Barnsley, was against the run of play. Shots on target Leeds 1, Barnsley 6, and even that shot was from a dodgy penalty. All teams get luck like that now and again and we'll lose a few the same way but luck won't last a season. We're dire and it's got nothing to do with Grayson - that's a pathetic excuse.

Unlike Grayson, Warnock has had money to spend, pretty decent money by the standards of this league. Grayson had players sold and never got the money back. He spent less than 400k in over 3 years. Warnock spent 2m and offloaded 10 players. He is not 'a brilliant manager'. He's had about 9 relegations. He's a journeyman just like his players.

Agree1 Disagree1

Wow Grayson did well to spend £400000 when Pugh alone cost £500000
What a muppet you are
You pick 1 game where we had 1 shot
We're 13 games in and you want manager sacked when were 1 win from playoffs
Tell me who you would put in charge and which 10 players you would have signed with £2million
You stupid person people like you get right on my chest lumps cos you seem to think we should win every week 4-0
Wake up we have an average squad so give them a bit of support
1 defeat in 7

This isn't about Grayson - he's gone, get over it. It's about the cr@p that Warnock's brought in and the dire football we're playing under him.

Agree0 Disagree0

It is about Grayson cos our budget is hampered by the tat he signed
Give warnock a chance ill take long ball football to get us out of this league
Like I said in a different post
Chelsea bored there way to champs of Europe
Arsenal played there way to f all
Let's get out of this league then play some football

No chance of promotion

Believable7 Unbelievable8

Here we go again, the piss and moan about everything club is out again,FFS,the takeovers almost done, the likelyhood of quality signings,a manager experienced in gaining promotion and all you can do is whine, support the lads or do one.

Agree5 Disagree2

Beginning to wonder if Colin's time is up?

Agree4 Disagree2

You can 'support the lads' and still think the team and manager are poor. Supporting the lads is one thing, mindless loyalty and blind optimism however...

Agree4 Disagree1

We need to get in better form and get the "easy" results we could have gone top 5 if we won charlton and birmingham so we can defo still go up with new players

Today's game= WTF!!

Believable3 Unbelievable1

27 Oct 2012 17:41:54
Poor display again today. No pace as White etc on the bench for too long. No urgency.Need more spirit. Byrams head went down before goal .Crowd very subdued again

Believable4 Unbelievable1

The leeds spirit has seemed to have gone poor attendance, no singing and por displays from the team. need to sort it out we have great potential and for a team with the 9th most amount of fans in the uk how could our ground be just over half full with a bad atmosphere. great shame

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Oct 2012 17:14:56
That was painful to watch. Sam Byram is not a right winger. We have Byram on one wing and Tonge on the other. Neither have any pace or flair. We need wingers on the wing.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

27 Oct 2012 17:11:27
not good times ahead if you cant beat birmingham at home, you reds !!

Believable7 Unbelievable2

27 Oct 2012 17:00:33
Warnock said we would be a lot better today.did he forget to tell the players?.we have strikers who can score goals if simple enough header or tap in.we have no one who can create themselves.we are going nowhere with present squad.surely anyone can see we need players who can win games..mill wall ,brum and Brighton will be passing us by soon..get some players in quick or gfh will be planning for another championship season.i hope they aren't banking on going up this season for the prem money...sorry but just not Good enough...shrew leeds

Believable9 Unbelievable3

The worrying thing is the style we are playing,we seem to have forgotten to pass and move, this long ball crap will get us nowhere,we need to get a passing game together and use the width more,or it's championship football again next season

Agree6 Disagree0

Totally agree. Rubbish today. We need a creative spark in the team. Becchio needs dropping. He doesn't win a header and his hold up play is shocking. To say we need Ross back is an understatement. Cm84

Agree5 Disagree2

I went tues and it was awful, had to work today, caught the second half on the radio and it didn't sound much better.Warnock on the radio as I post and he sounds really down, says the team lacks pace and is struggling to address the problem .

Agree1 Disagree0

Think most of championship will be passing ya

Agree2 Disagree0

Can't believe people disagree with my post.not a problem but tell me why u don't.in last week 3 games and 600 for the 2 of us so I think my post is warranted and right.shrew leeds

Agree1 Disagree0

God if we don't get a win at Brighton we wll hit bottom half of table

Agree3 Disagree0

I don't agree with your post because how can it be warnock a fault for getting players in
To the person who said if we lose to Brighton etc
What about if we win
Some Leeds fans are pathetic did you expect us 10 points clear at top
Russ

Agree1 Disagree3

Well done Russ for talking sense, fed up with the moaners and whingers who think they could co better with the squad we have.and the person who said drop Becchio,go back to ur xbox

Agree1 Disagree2

Here here
Too many people with short memories
We expect loyalty from players when premier league comes calling but look how we treat them after a couple bad games

As much as I don't agree with his financial prudenance at this point of Leeds' rise. I have to admit, I'll miss Ken Bates in a number of ways:
1) his interviews, the way he looks to the camera in his last interview vaguely resembles the last scene of "babe" I can imagine him arguing with Grayson over funds and then pulling that face and saying "that'll do pig. That'll do."
2) He's the public enemy. He creates a way that other fans can sympathise with us instead of just calling us dirty *******s.
3) His influence on Leeds United memes, he is the subject of most Leeds united memes and when he leaves, most of the memes will be meaningless. Which is a sad thought.
4) His nicknames. We'll never be able to call anyone else in the next few years "Captain Birdseye" or "Kendalf the C***" unless someone else whose 80 years old takes over.

Again to reiterate, I want him out but I'm just trying to keep the mood up. MOT

Notice the Udders game has been switched from Friday night to Saturday midday.
It doesn t take a genius to work out that this is a good idea.
Local rivalry, ex managers, ex players, big crowd (for udders) etc etc. Put this on a Friday night when everyone's had a few beers first is a recipe for disaster.
I m not condoning anything that happened at Sheff Wed, but questions still need to be asked about who decided that it was a good idea to stage this on a Friday night.
Jonny {Ed013's Note - Its a shame they wont move Brighton as well!}

Believable1 Unbelievable2

Does this mean it's no longer live?..shrew leeds
