Gutted, again. but fair play to SU they wanted it more. Good cohesion in their side which took a couple of attempts to get out of league 1 and their momentum is good. Now breaks my heart to say Leeds still up in the air re formations, Philips poor first half but scored, defense yet again a different pairing, Lassogga completely ineffective, Anita out of his depth totally outplayed, Vieraaaaaaaaaa good game but O'kane too easily shrugged off ball. Would have brought Dallas on to curb the wingers runs and play two upfront, they played the ball out with far too much time and quickly too. Not taking teams too long to realise that if they neutralise Saiz we definitely struggle. oh and not to forget their 6 bookings. thought we the dirty ones. Had it not been for 2 or 3 world class saves it would have been embarrassing.

Ayling, Pennington, Lasogga all poor tonight and Alioski just does nothing other than fall over and ask for free kicks.

Agree1 Disagree1

28 Oct 2017 00:00:33
I thought Ayling played ok, he did get around the pitch and never stopped running, he played for the shirt, maybe not very well but he tried, other than that I agree with you matey!

Agree2 Disagree2

28 Oct 2017 00:06:31
Can't knock Ayling for his effort at all, just not one of his better games tonight sadly. Gave the ball away a lot and also caught out for the 2nd goal in the same way he was for Barrow's goal against Reading. He's usually Mr Reliable so can't be too harsh on him.

Agree2 Disagree0

28 Oct 2017 09:13:22
Look guys. We hit the post and should have had a penalty for the pull on Pennington so on another day it could have been 3_2 to us

Agree3 Disagree1

28 Oct 2017 10:57:29
Well done Martyn; first positive review I've read! Thought Saiz was very good again tonight, and Lonners was outstanding with his shot stopping. Regarding SU, apart from Sharp, I can't say I knew anything about any of their team, but their gaffer has them playing some very good football, and he says they were off their game last night! I still see us being in the mix by the end of the season tho.

We may have just played the 2018 Championship champions. That Duffy can play. He's their man from atlantis.

We're supposed to be the one with Dallas. With last night's loss, we're heading down the table South and we're forked!

Being I'm a man of principals another Dallas joke are we going to call Jay Roy JR that's me done my brains starting to hurt

27 Oct 2017 22:19:51
One word carp out played, tonight TC not the guy to take us out of this league SW were a league one side and they were much better then us, time to think about re building in January with better players as I said at the start of the season.

Believable2 Unbelievable2

27 Oct 2017 22:41:55
For a set it wasn't SW we played tonight it was SU, secondly there were a league one side who now sit top of the championship so their history in league 1 means nothin as they are clearly a very strong team in the championship the proof is in the pudding with them at the top.

Agree5 Disagree1

27 Oct 2017 22:55:45
Nearly every post you put on you say “as I said at the start of the season”! Yes you maybe right and yes at times we have been carp not carp! We are still a work in progress to be fair and once TC sorts what is what then we will decide who is carp and who isn’t! We also got beat by Sheff Utd tonight not Sheff Wed and I would also disagree with you about all our players being carp, there has been some good performances since the start of the season which is why we are not to far away but I also agree that things need sorting out! Yes on this performance we won’t be going up but then neither did Huddersfield with Wagner in his first season, nor Brighton with Chris Houghton, nor Burnley with Shaun Dyche, this is Chris Wilders third season with Utd so if TC needs a couple of years so be it, it’s better to go up and stay up instead of going up and straight back down! Work in progress Whiteman, you will see. MOT

Agree5 Disagree2

27 Oct 2017 23:32:15
It's baffling how we gone from a team that was playing with energy and skill, to a team that looks lightweight and lacking in confidence. Who is to blame? Is it that maybe TC isn't a very good coach or is it that our Victor orta has brought more duds than hits. Saiz looks the best of the bunch we brought in this season. Felix, grot are poor, Swedish forward not even trusted with much game time and Alioski's form has tailed off. Time for a Rethink on the recruitment front.

Woody69 ok mate I will put a bet on us going up in 2022 them, and ok spelling mistakes made but that my old phone doing its best far better then last night, for me you get what you paid for and fully understanding tha Raz is doing his very best, and is the best we have had in a long time, but we need quality and sorry to say we don’t have it,

bench Lassoga. Play Jansson up front. At least he'd win some headers. like a centre forward

Believable1 Unbelievable1

27 Oct 2017 22:31:40
can't they at least find a shirt to fit lassoga?

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 22:35:09
We won't get promoted playing this style of football. Our defence is poor, constantly caught out of position and we paying the price for not buying a decent centre half to partner PJ. Alioski seems very average, lassoga lazy at times and poor in the air. Hope Iam wrong but unless we strengthen in next transfer window we will be a mid table team this season

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 21:54:55
Lack of direction from the top have to question TC really lasogga awful as were many others, I know he got the goal but Phillips ain't championship quality, think TC trying to keep everyone happy needs to be more ruthless!

Believable2 Unbelievable2

27 Oct 2017 22:24:08
Agree that lassoga was too static up front, couple of times he pushed too wide and waited, not even an attempt to move and make himself available. They did a good job on us and took key players out of the game. Do not agree with the comment about TC keeping everyone happy - especially me !

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 22:33:25
Does TC really select who we buy? don't think so myself he is just the coach.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 21:50:31
For me the better side won, probably on paper we supposedly have the better side. But they were half a yard quicker, fitter in every position of the pitch. Having said that they are top for a reason and it’s no fluke, nor no disgrace to lose to the league leaders. I think the team worked hard, but too many misplaced passes due to their constant unrelenting pressure on the ball. Not picking on Lassoga but agree that we looked slow motion in attack compared to them, when we were flying using Roofe etc upfront (no I don’t think Roofe us a main striker) we had pace, pace meant fluency which meant more gaps more room more dynamic simply harder to play against. Hurts, but let’s remind ourselves it’s a very different type of hurt from previous seasons, certainly lots to play for and we can address things in January and that could be as simple as trying someone from within I’m sure nobody had heard of young Brooke’s until he scored the winner. I’m keeping positive. it’s just more fun

Good point's 92, Sharp was out to prove a point, and he did! The blade's up to wun a derby, don't think are lad's are up to the contest. Can't see us getting a result in any derby games. No passion.

Agree4 Disagree0

28 Oct 2017 11:05:48
Agree with everything there, apart from with regards to Roofe. I think he could do a job upfront, as we saw when he played there after Wood departed.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 21:46:10
Sadly I don't think TC is right for us at this time. You can't play your way out of this league, you battle the way out, and he has no experience of doing such. That is exactly why SU have beaten us tonight. Gutted.

Believable4 Unbelievable7

27 Oct 2017 21:45:39
I said at the end of last season the Yorkshire derbies would cost us this season. Good job Huddersfield got promoted and Bradford didn't.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

27 Oct 2017 21:45:38
I know I always get plenty of disagrees but I have to say su played us off the park tonight, we are getting hugely exposed at left back, and we don't have a number 9,it's embarrassingly easy for the opposition centre backs. you can't sell 22 mil pounds worth of talent. wood/Taylor and replace with Anita/beradi . lassoga/grot. it shows in the big games. we have looked good against the lower half the league but we have been ruthlessly exposed by the better teams so far.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

27 Oct 2017 21:39:36
Just goes to show a team with better players doesn't always win

Believable1 Unbelievable3

27 Oct 2017 22:43:19
But they did Wex! Sheffield United have the better players and they won! They won because they wanted it more! They won because we didn’t turn up again! We seem to bottle it when it comes to the so called big games! Millwall, Cardiff, Sheff Wed, Reading and now Sheff Utd! God knows who’s going to turn up on Tuesday for us against Derby and then there’s Wolves! Could be a very very long 8 days!

27 Oct 2017 21:38:51

Agree2 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 21:55:21
100% speedy. Too easy knocked off the ball. That man lassoga is shocking. Change off formation and forwards is needed desperately. one big useless man up front is carp. Then he brings another useless big man on too ( grot ) Loads off work to do. 1-1 at half time was a bonus. Should have berm 3 down. So to lose it wasn't a surprise. I'm just so cheesed off with some players and TC and his selection at times. Fuming at the minute tbh.

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 21:57:33
A lot of running around Speedy but no direction, no skill or power up front! No foresight, no idea especially when we have the ball, it’s going to take another season me thinks, and a few transfer markets! Lasogga not worth the £50,000 per week he’s apparently jointly being paid, Grot and him just look like to big slabs of weak pee up front! Lonergan played really well and deserves his place, I thought Dallas might of got a game as I think he would of loved to score for his Mum. There’s just nothing there, worryingly we are starting to look like last seasons team, we just have no plan B, players come on and TC moves a couple of players sideways, then for ten minutes we come alive then we go back to normal, it looks like we’ve had a cheap fix, with a comedown! It’s not working! MOT

Agree1 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 22:00:04
Bang on Speedy sorry to say. SU played like we all want Leeds to play. Lassoga is like Chris Wood on a bad day.

No harm. But for the size off lassago. My 14 year old would win more headers and tackle more than that clown. No ⚽️⚽️ If he could win a ball or even hold it up. We would at least have a chance up top. Ball straight back every time. Useless is being nice. 🙈🙈👊⚽️

Some job Wilder has done. A bunch of rejects and past-its. Lots of work to be done at ER. We are miles off i'm afraid.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

27 Oct 2017 21:39:39
They wanted it more. Their players not afraid too put it in where it hurts. To me grot and lassoga are carp. Shouldn't even be in the squad. To say I'm cheesed off is an under statement . I know we've improved from last year. But at least show a bit off guts.

27 Oct 2017 22:04:50
Very true our team won't be in the play off Unless January brings us some championship quality players

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2017 08:23:12
We seriously need two quality strikers. Lazyogga is trash and Grot is a giant GOAT! Where is Stuart Dallas? TC has lost 5 out of last 6 and it will continue to go downhill fast. AR you need to kick some backsides.

I can't remember the last time I watched Leeds live on TV and they won. come to think of it. it may have been that 1-0 win over Arsenal in the cup final.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

27 Oct 2017 22:04:19
As soon as the commentator said when Brooks came on as a sub, that he had never scored a first team goal, I just knew that he would before the final whistle. happens every time.

What about Lonergan Wex! 100 times better than Felix! So disappointed about how many times Ayling has the ball and can’t release it as no one is wanting the ball MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

27 Oct 2017 20:38:03
Ayling is passing the ball to feet every time, a Sheffield United foot! Only O'Kane playing anything like his best. Lazysogga needs to buck his ideas up.

Agree0 Disagree0

28 Oct 2017 11:14:41
Over the full 90, I thought O Kane had one of his worst showings for Leeds yet.

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 20:29:23
Well longeron really earned his place tonight with a save that has kept us in the game and Kalvin Phillips again shows his value to this team again. Sheffield united playing well but we have clawed our way back in.

What have the lonergan lovers to say about that

Believable0 Unbelievable2

27 Oct 2017 20:40:04
Lonergan was at sea for the goal if it was felix he'd be slaughtered

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 20:44:58
I’d say Lonners has kept us in the game, to be fair they’ve been the better team, energy levels on a different level hoping they’re going to tire second half. Think our home support will be the deciding factor tonight, think our magnificent support will lift the team second half and I’m going for 3-2 Leeds

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 21:33:50
FFS Wex, if Lonergan did the same mistakes game after game after game then he will be slaughtered as well! Sometimes Wex you just don’t get what’s going on!

Agree0 Disagree0

27 Oct 2017 21:59:06
Longers kept the score down to 2. Would have been 4/5 if Felix in nets as he doesn't leave his line. Some people. 🙈🙈😂👍⚽️

28 Oct 2017 11:19:04
Our defensive play was at fault for both of their goals, and most of their opportunities. Had it not been for Lonners it could have been a rout!
