What about some tree agent in stead of Diouf like
CB-Matthew Bates
DCM-Reo-Coker
St-Heskey
St-Michel Owen
and more good ones have a look at some
Believable3
Unbelievable8
Are you even a Leeds united fan if we can not pay diouf who is already at the club wants to stay and playing well to finish it off really want planet are you on thinking we could afford there signing on fees let alone weekly wages
Agree8
Disagree0
With the exception of Owen (only if he's fit) Diouf is far better than any of those players as he has different attributes to the other members of the squad, which gives us balance to the team. He could also win us games out of nothing (like Snodgrass did)
If Jarvis was worth £10 mill (daylight robbery) then Diouf (when match fit and without the attitude) would be worth near on £20 Mill even at 31 - Remember if you look beyond the attitude, there is a real quality player whether you like him or not.
Agree15
Disagree3
Yes i was just saying look at the free ones
might be a few good one if some one is sold before the transfer window is close
Agree2

Free agents are free. Infact just as if not more expensive than transfers. Free agents ask for big wages and sign on fees as they know the club isn't paying a transfer fee. Warnock said we don't have any cash, so where does the money for these "frees" come from then

I'm not sayin that this would ever happen but hypothetically, if Joey Barton decided a transfer to another English club would benefit him after his move to France failed, would you welcome him to Leeds. On the one hand he is a decent player and a certainly a character, on the other hand he's a liability and you don't know what he's going to do next.

He would however be much more welcome than that Oz ****er Harry Tool who would be in more danger of harm from his home fans than any opposition he might face.
Harry Judas is extremely loathed by some circles here and I believe he would be in REAL danger of physical harm if he ever came back to ER.

To all the fans still up Bates's a=se and living off the crumbs. WAKE UP FOR F++KSAKE!! I bet when the truth does come out, the fans that saluted him will turn around and say. I knew he was up to no good but i remember all your names on here. In my book you will be the ones that let your team down, not the players. All i can say is, do the research or ask someone who knows what there looking at. Then come back and tell me Bates loves us and only wants the best for us. MY A+SE!!
He once said he would rather see us liquidated, then someone else take control of us. Does that sound like a man who cares what happens to us. From were i'm standing it sounds like a man who will squosh anything to get what he wants.
Mr Bates has costed us millions in legal fees because the man carn't keep his mouth shut. Why should he, he's not paying for it and couldn't care less. Then the man turns around and tells us we f==ked up the invetsment before due to are protest. Which leads me to believe this man is really from another planet.
Maybe when we do get rid of the grimreaper and he moves to another club. You so called, i love my club, can get on all four knees and give the man a lift or a shoe shine its really up to you because i love my club but will not sit by and watch this sad old man bring it down. Sorry if anyone is affended but we need to be united in the playing side and united in the FACT! We want the Chelsea out of are club.

I will probably get ripped for this but if Neil wants a striker who runs the Chanels,Holds the ball up when we are under pressure, like we were at Blackpool. I would go for Heskey he has always been fantastic at these traits.I know his finishing is poor but I think he could get us 10 goals this year and earn us points when we are under pressure. Mark my words with this squad at times we are going to be well under the cosh. Piquione (according to a lad who supports donny)
Is also very good at holding on to the ball.Becchio is a good finisher but his hold up play and his link play is poor and at times it invites pressure

Becchio is a better CF than heskey has ever dreamed of being! hold up play poor? what you watching pal?

I said the same last week about heskey not the player he used to be but would if been able to close the blackpool game out people who slate him need to get a better understanding of football and see a fowards job is not just scoring and before you come back saying i have no understanding i played for sheff united untill i was 19 then in to chesterfield before the painful decline to non league
Agree0
Disagree2
I would give Heskey the number that represents the amount of goals he'd score and his rating out of ten which is a big ''0''. he is a very poor mans Mark Viduka (Viduka being a Maclaren F1 - Heskey being a childs ''Big-Wheel'' tricycle) In fact I'd take Viduka today over him, even if he does weight a metric ton he'd still score more .
Agree4

In reply to becchio is a better player.no1 if Becchio s all round game was as good as you say he wouldn't be still at Leeds. No2 watt games have I been watching about 30 last year. No 3 has Becchio played at the highest level. Watts that no. Why not I ask u ? No3 next time u go to a game if u do analyse Becchios link up play his first touch when reviving the ball with his back to goal. Count the times he links play. I have nothing against the lad,he is good player but better than Heskey has ever been is wrong top managers have paid millions for him over the years.

With the exception of Austin and Pearce I don't think we have signed any quality players this summer. You could say I'm very concerned and can't see beyond a season of mid table mediocrity, so far they have surpassed my expectations getting 6 points, I'd have taken 5 at this stage. Without rosco pulling the strings we will struggle this season. A cup run is the last thing we need so I hope nw fields a squad tonight whom are capable of winning but won't effect the team for the visit of Blackburn. I'm missing my first game tonight so I hope everyone who goes tonight gets behind the lads whoever is on the field. Northampton white.

The team we have this season is far better than the one we had last. OK the new signings aren't "Marquee Signings", but I think with a bit of luck on the injury and suspension front we could aim for a play off spot. If the takeover goes ahead and we can inject some new blood at Christmas, then I see a definiate play off spot. NW will get the best out of what he's got.
Agree5

No mate. Look at Kenny, he's probably the best keeper since the days of the one and only Martyn. Diouf once up to speed with games will be a force, really hope he signs tonite. Then theres Peltier, who i think is going to be a bargain at 650, I do think the jury is still out on Varney, Norris and Dury but we are only 4 games into the season.

Leicester have ambitions of promotion this season and if he is that good why would they let him go on the cheap to one of there potential promotion rivals? They obviously don't rate him that much. But I do have faith that nw can get the best out this team and individual players so I will keep my fingers crossed that we don't get any injuries at all this season because we are not strong in numbers.

Anyone ever thought this. Ken Bates, seeing how support dwindled last season, knowing and seeing the anti Bates movements at Elland Road, opens the doors to negotiate with potential buyers, publishes all the due dilligence / negotiations / takeover OS posts to try and get season ticket sales up (cos i think there's something in the fact that season ticket holders had their usual window to buy, and then were also offered another unusual mid summer/mid takeover opportunity to buy), the carrot - that Bates is no longer there and maybe a more fruitful situation at Elland Road. Fact could be this, he knows he's heading out and has limited time pulling the wool over your eyes but, hey, just one last chance to pocket a few Leeds United coppers. Maybe, just maybe, he had never been intending to sell? Warnock, us and whoever is sat in the negotiating room, paying out of their own pocket for the due dilligence process - maybe we are all been taken for one last ride - the big spin. It's just been a way to get people to purchase season tickets?

Hi Ed's it has been reported that the potential new owners of Leeds United have indeed funded some of the summer signings, well if this is the case surly the club would have set aside a figure for potential signing and wages for this season, similar to the amount that was stated last year for Grayson to use of around 9.5 million and along with the extra monies that have been recouped by the sales of Snodgrass and so fourth, if indeed we have used the new money from potential investors and not used the clubs money where has this money gone and why cannot it be used for some descent signings to back the squad up? it cannot have all been used on wages and transfer fees as the players that have left equal the players that have come in so the wages would not be that much different to last season in reality, so where has this yearly allocation of clubs money gone? any ideas?

The truth is the Club will NOT and Can NOT survive this season with no funds and there is a very strong possibility that Leeds Utd could go back into Administration once again by the end of this season. When will they realise that their behavior and posturing is affecting our club and their investment. It appears to be common knowledge that the buyers have signed but Bates hasn't.
KB has ignored the club's legal team, the buyer's legal team and even his own legal team who have ALL told KB that this is an excellent deal for everybody.
KB seems to have moved a few things since the buyers have signed and now there is a legal argument regarding indemnity for KB against any future "financial claims" that may appear.
Not in the Know but the above has been confirmed from several sources inside and outside of the club.
