Hi all I did say at start of season we were going to struggle this year I was hoppin I was wrong but I can't see us stayin up now am realy worried we can't keep getting secound devision players from abroard we need to bring in brithish players with a track record not scarred to roll there sleves up and fight for us

Agree0 Disagree0

The kind of players everyone wants will not come to leeds. a strong experienced midfielder.wingers.none available to play for peanuts

Agree0 Disagree0

Just looking at the next half dozen games, can't see a point from any of them. I hope team prove me wrong.

Agree0 Disagree0

Totally agree Gary.

Irrespective of MC being out of the frame at the moment, I reckon Redfern has got two more games max. Derby will want revenge this time and we will struggle - again. I respected him as the Academy coach, but he was never the right choice to take us towards the Prem. The team are starting to believe they are relegation candidates now (see Warnock's comments), and that needs stopping soonest by a manager who can inject some confidence, belief, drive and determination, like Gary Rowett has at Birmingham. Just carrying on doing the same things with the same team is not an option. Wake up Redders, or you're gone!!

I am not saying do not buy pacey players but before we consider that, we need to try moving the ball at pace from back to front. If we are taking pressure (which we seem to encounter) and we want to pass our way out (which we seem to want to) then it should be drilled into everyone that Quick, Sharp, Forward passing will be the way forward. Wether it is thro the middle out round the back via the wings is immaterial. What is missing is the the play at pace. Is the all around high tempo.
Get it to Antenucci sitting on the last mans shoulders as quickly (and accurately) as possible. Not advocating hoofball here, we have the skills.
Lets play teams off the park (certainly at home) let's make them so scared with our style and the crowd we are one - nil up in the warm up!
Unfortunately at the moment I must agree with the other posters we are a rudderless ship and could go anywhere. As easy to win 5-0 as to lose 5-0. Still optimistic tho. Keep the faith MOT

Yep, agree with that 100% Leo. All this pretty pretty tiki taki sidewards and backwards stuff is all very well if you're three goals up with 10 mins to go, but going forward and scoring goals is the most important tactic, not faffing about and ending up losing possession. At least Cook and Mowatt try to be positive. the back four haven't got a clue how to turn defence into attack.

Adryan took ages to get into the team because he was not fit then gets rested which means he is not fit, Sloth can't get a game even though he is fit and looked promising. Montenegro can't get a game even though he is fit and averaging a goal a game. Seems like a bit of panic is setting in and players getting on pitch because they are experienced ha. Not many expected us to go up but did expect us to move forward. To me that means all the players that let us down so badly should be moving on they had their chance and did not perform and that includes Austin in my opinion. a lot of players on loan deals so always option of sending them back and getting others but I think they need to be given a chance to show what they can do. Del Fabro should be above Pearce and sat on the bench with Sloth and Berardi and Monty, I would play Monty from the start personally. How do Morrison, and Tonge give us options off the bench and as busy as Austin is I have a chicken that runs round the yard all day but doesn't actually do anything. MOT

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Pretty much agree Bige, but would prob hold onto Austin at the moment, because he does inject some pace more often than not when he comes on

Agree0 Disagree0

Really can't understand why fans keep being negative about Austin. Although he might not be what we want in the longer term at the moment he is the only mid fielder with any real strength, power and ability to run at and past defences. Before anyone else says it I know he does shoot from ridiculous distances when he should pass. His passing if you look overall is better than most. I don't see people berating Cook and Mowatt when some of theirs are wayward. Unfortunately, because we could do with a bit better, Austin should be on from the start because he is the best we have doing that job. Made a big difference when he came on against Wigan as opposed to Morison who should have been left outside the ground. Sharp bad attitude wouldn't play him particularly if he is going to play out wide. Poor.

Agree0 Disagree0

Struggling to score goals, why can't Montenegro get a start, surely he deserves a chance.

Agree0 Disagree0

Austin played well against Wigan, he ain't the answer long term but can do a job in my opinion for now. Mont should get a game, we are not scoring so give him a go Redders.

It is a results business we all know this and sometimes fine lines between success/failing and look at Brum, change the attitude and with more or less the same team are now a form team. I don't say get rid of Redders but he needs to inject confidence/direction for the team, we are good enough to stay in this league for gods sake.

On form we are second bottom in the last 10 games and 3rd from bottom in the last 6 but the team needs to try and play and play without fear, not easy but that is one of the managers jobs.

At the moment we are worst than last year, the league table tells us this.

Re David Haigh I don't really care one way or the other it is just dull

More Haigh carp. Always thought he was.

No use talking to me about that.

Well this is definitely not a prediction, but despite our league position and recent form, we do know that we are capable of beating anyone in this league as well as losing to anyone - so I don't think it's a forgone conclusion that we will get hammered on Tuesday. Only a possibility. Well we either will or we won't, so that's 50/50 innit? Reason for optimism? Maybe not?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Good post mate!
What did it mean?

Agree0 Disagree0

It means, expect a battering from the rams lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Well Aussie and Trev (good pun by the way Trev!)
What my post essentially meant was that I should not post when I've had a bit of a tipple.
What I THINK I meant to say, is that on our best form we are still good enough to beat anyone in this league. So while we are probably likely to get a battering, we could get something. Basically as we are in such turmoil, every match is completely unpredictable, regardless of who the opposition is.
I'm sober now, but not sure that makes any more sense than it did last night :(

Agree0 Disagree0

Lost me on. Well

Agree0 Disagree0

Aussie. Go chuck your boomerang lol

Agree0 Disagree0

Being a Leeds supporter the boomerang will probably hit him in the back of the head and knock him out. As a group bad luck seems to follow us around.

Agree0 Disagree0

Or Trev, he won't even be selected to throw the boomerang in the first place!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lost me boomerang! Bugger didn't come back? Sent me blue heeler to look for it and he didn't come back. Sent me misses. She didn't find it but came back! Hows that for luck!
Think all leeds fans are cursed!
