Now we're going places. At last a few good signings. The top brass at leeds are really making an effort. A center back now and we're off. Everyone knows that my faith was tested but we've definitely improved the squad. Can't wait for next week.

Think just about everyone was doubting if we were going to sign anyone for a fee. Bamford has come out of nowhere and he is an excellent buy in my eyes. Lots of goals in him. I would forget about Vydra as it has taken so long obviously no passion to join us. Use the money on a couple of other players.

Lampard on sky news saying. Vydra has been talking to a couple off clubs but lapmstrd said no offers have been made. Looking like Vydra playing teams against each other to get beat deal. Let's forget him and move on and get another in. Play for side then self.

Vydra is in this for himself, and much as I don't blame him for that attitude he also has to promise or commit something in return.
Have to ask why Derby don't want to keep hold of him, can't be just about the wages if he is so good?

Good question as Leeds are now in talks to find out why were always in talks but never sign anybody, Kinnear says he's excited to find the answer and reveal findings before xmas.

Butland, shawcross, pieters, crouch, afobe, McLean, bojan, fletcher Charlie Adam, miram diouf will be a good test of how good our team is.

My thoughts on the recent moves for both Bamford and Vydra. I think one of two things has happened
1. Bielsa gave Roofe the chance to impress pre-season and isn't convinced therefore looking to sell and replace with Bamford.
2. A club has come in for Roofe (West Brom maybe? ) with an offer we decided was good value and Bamford is straight replacement for Roofe moving on.
Because personally, I think having Vydra, Bamford, Roofe, Roberts is a little too much if we play with one up front. So many of our young forwards IMO look ready to support the first team so three main forwards with Clarke, Edmundson, Dalby, Temenuzhkov in support would be fine.

Don't believe the Vydra deal will come off myself. Money still seems to be the sticking point mainly his wage demand. Can't see anyone else lining up to sign him or he would of been snapped up by now.

Always been a case of 'playing for the shirt' not 'paying for the player' here at Leeds, rightly or wrongly?
Very sad this week to see a true legend pass and now see these mercenaries think Leeds should pay whatever they want and some of our supporters thinking this is okay.
Yes, we want promotion, but not at a price that leaves us bankrupt if we don't get it?

Douglas seen at ER today, Vydra seen at Pride park or whatever silly name of has today. Think that about says it all. Let's stop chasing Vydra as he clearly isn't wanting to play for us. Move on!

Well Radz has stated were Leeds United and must aim for the top well Radz you need to get us the players to be able to compete because were 3 or 4 short at the moment so sick of Vydra on Vydra off sign him up or move on whay does it take us so long to get signings over the line times running out fast need em in NOW.

I recon it could be both, given that we only really have Roberts, Edmunson is still a bit part player so it makes sense to be wanting 2 forwards. Although it would massacre the budget of a reported 20m or is it 20m + the 10m off the 49ers!? It would be massive to get Douglas, vydra, Bamford, Maddison and a centre back.
