Got to pursue Chris Coleman as next manager IMO.

I couldn't disagree more, hardly did wonders at Sunderland.

Wouldn't mind him, but if Leicester bin Puel off anytakers

29 Apr 2018 21:15:59
Neither are any better than what we have. and that's saying somat. Nor would they work under the current structure.

Agree2 Disagree2

29 Apr 2018 22:17:57
Both are miles better than Heck, but neither are the answer. Puel wouldn't come anyway.

30 Apr 2018 08:20:33
Coleman? Puel? Surely you're on a wind-up

Just look at Colemans CV. He is living off the back of one halfway decent World Cup campaign and a 9th with Fulham early doors. No, we can do better.

Any half decent manager won't work under Radz and Orta it will be another yes man from whos available i'd have Pearson he layed the foundations to the Leicester side that won the league no way in hell would he put up with this lot so half expect a failed foreign manager to come in and tow the line looking bleak for next year and have you noticed Barnsley have improved since Heck left while we continue to slide speaks volumes methinks

Agree0 Disagree1

29 Apr 2018 16:23:04
Signing Bartley won't change anything if Heck is still in charge. He could sign Messi and still struggle to win games. Get QSF in.

Chris Coleman will do for me!

Agree0 Disagree8

29 Apr 2018 17:59:12
Bartley won't come. He will have better offers. Just paper talk

Agree2 Disagree0

29 Apr 2018 18:01:55
Why? He was carried by Bale.

Agree1 Disagree1

29 Apr 2018 15:25:17
Kyle Bartley reportedly in Leeds sights, apparently opened talks with Swansea, love for this to happen but a lot of me thinks it's click bait and lazy journalism. But him and Pontus, what a foundation to build on.

Believable1 Unbelievable1

29 Apr 2018 16:07:19
Seems genuine to me. Hay reports it's genuine and it makes sense for Radz to pull off a popular move which would undoubtedly sell season tickets. Without signing Bartley or a move of similar proportions, I don't see a large clamour for renewal.

Agree7 Disagree1

29 Apr 2018 16:29:05
Just a PR stunt to take our minds off another defeat and the Myanmar controversy and to try and boost season ticket sales.

Probably be a month of talks then we will just miss out.

The manager/coach is talking about a need to change the mentality of the players. In the time he has been here the football the attitude and the mentality has gone backwards. He has not improved one player and now has 3 wins in 15 games. In light of this, how exactly is he going to change anything in the future when he hasn't so far. I am as much at a loss as he seems to be.

Believable8 Unbelievable1

29 Apr 2018 16:12:56
Attitude of players a reflection of him. Insiders say he has the personality of a yes man and conman who deflects responsibility onto others. You won't succeed with such a person. This is what you get when Orta is in charge. We were doing better with TC and he was even more clueless.

Agree9 Disagree1

29 Apr 2018 17:05:19
Sounds to me as though Radz/the Board need to be crystal clear as to why the team's results and their attitude has imploded. Is it Radz/the Board's own attention in the media making them look like monkeys which embarrasses and demotivates the players? Is Hecky a fundamentally weak coach/manager causing the players not to respect him and become very demotivated (many have said how the likes of Saiz seem to have gone backwards) ? Are some of the players simply just not good enough and need upgrading? Or, of course, it could quite easily be all three factors. in which case LUFC is well and truly fk'd. Virtually every club in the Premiership are now light years ahead of us. It is hard to believe that we WERE on a par with the Top6, certainly Top10, of the Premiership for a very long time and now this is a pipe dream.

29 Apr 2018 20:25:18
I agree George but not sure if Orta is responsible for the bad appointment. In fact I believe Orta is working with in his remit of buying young future talent and good value for money first teamers. Has he failed? Probably but maybe not on all accounts. I like to give a man a chance to prove his worth but Heck like Hock I knew unfortunately things would not work out. I’ve known for a long time now that it’s never easy being a Leeds fan!

Agree2 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 00:23:23
Cork Job requirement number 1 is to bow to a higher authority and be submissive. That's not a good start for a manager and in truth he ain't really "managing". I do believe Orta role has diminished somewhat but he still retains too much power when all he is is a scout, perhaps chief foreign scout but that's it.

The manager and assistant manager ought to wield more power but they do not. As for Orta acquisitions, real mixed bag. He shouldn't be permitted to recruit anyone older than 21. Leave the senior guts and spine to someone else.

Just an interesting observation. that fair play to Neil Warnock if he gets the Cardiff promoted. looking likely. should he have stayed? Bamba been a rock all season and playing odd time in midfield, did a job on us. man management. you can't beat it. Such is the high expectation at Leeds that as soon as a player has an off day we the fans get on their backs. when will we learn.

Believable4 Unbelievable1

29 Apr 2018 14:16:26
Bamba is a car crash waiting to happen if you look at the goals Cardiff have conceded this season he's made some clangers sorry but wouldn't want him back, regarding Warnock yeh he's done great with the players at his disposal probably one season wonders but you never know.

Agree0 Disagree1

29 Apr 2018 15:29:47
Absolutely spot on Kly if they do go up then put your house on them finishing bottom next season. They play ugly, time wasting, hoofball. Yes it gets results but the style, niggling fouls and constant hounding of officials makes it “football” I would not want to see at ER. The stuff we are currently watching is bad enough.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2018 15:40:21
Bamba began to play badly because he became thoroughly disenchanted with the club. The club made him physically sick. He knew there was bad stuff ahead. He was right. Fans angered or upset by poor performances is our right. We don't hound a player out of our club. If you want to leave, you should go. From our view, we had a good central defender who suddenly stopped being good for no apparent reason then the club started issuing cover stories. We are a troubled club and will be for a while longer.

One season wonders only? Do you know how many promotions Colin has had with teams

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2018 21:20:39
He's a quality manager, I agree, Martyn. I was so pleased at the time we appointed him, but he was given zero backing from that tart Bates, and when you have nothing to work with, you get nowt. I won't be pleased if Cardiff go up, not in the slightest, but Colin will have showed his worth yet again, and show how we wasted his appointment.

29 Apr 2018 20:36:52
I see you point George but what about Tom Less? That lad was absolutely killed.

Agree0 Disagree0

30 Apr 2018 04:16:06
Yes he was Cork. He's performed relatively well at Sheffield Thursday. He's better than Cooper. It was probably a personality clash with Colin.

It's times like these I wish I were a journo. They never ask the questions I have. I hope Phil Hay or someone asks Hecky. If he is famed for his development of youth; why play Pennington, a non full back at RB and leave Hosanna at home. Why play Cooper at CB and drop O'Connor. Why take Edmundson and not put him on the bench. Why play Lassoga at the end and not a Dalby or an Edmonson. Why not have more new faces on this, and previous, benches. Why persist with players that you already know what you need to know at the exclusion of players that you desperately need to see perform. I am not (yet) a Hecky out man but Mr Hecky you do test my patience sometimes.

Believable3 Unbelievable1

29 Apr 2018 11:48:45
One of two reasons. First, he does not have a clue or second, he is being told by Orta to give certain players their final final final chance to prove themselves. Forward a few weeks when Grot bangs in a hatrick against The Dog and Duck, the club will fool themselves that he is the real deal.

Agree7 Disagree2

29 Apr 2018 12:08:24
Notts, I actually think that Grot could? come good but certainly needs L1 experience next year. Shipping out to a team with a clause to play him most weeks.

Agree2 Disagree3

29 Apr 2018 12:24:10
What evidence has he given you to demonstrate he could come good ?

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2018 15:31:48
Leo Why you ask such questions? You already know how mad the hierarchy are. You're pleading for common sense from people who gave you carp signings including Wiedwald, crestgate, Hecky appointment when I believe he actually knows little about the game, a post season tour into a genocidally affected country and a Radz business is now being investigated by some authority. Don't expect logic. Most of us on here would give the youngsters a couple of games before end of season but anything goes with these madmen. As for Grot, he isn't even League 2 standard. He'd make an average non-league striker.

Don't get too excited guys, Bartley will be snapped up by the snake if Brum stay up. Similar to Boro last close season, we'll be heavily link with players then at the last minute his taxi will be diverted.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

29 Apr 2018 09:11:11
Agree lucas, should have brought him 12 months ago. Brum will stay up and he will be on his way there. Would be good to get Bartlet back, come on Radz make it happen.

Agree0 Disagree0

29 Apr 2018 10:25:22
Bartley would be an amazing signing if it does happen and i will be amazed if it does. It will improve the image of Radz and Orta however under no circumstances should it raise the stock of Heckingbottom as let's face it, it will be nothing to do with him. Yesterday i could not believe that Cooper replaced Paudie, why was Pennington at right back and why so many poor strikers on the bench. Nonsense decisions and why do we allegedly want Yiadom? we have Ayling and Coyle for right back. Signings such as Pennington, Yiadom and Mbakogu will raise serious judgement questions. We don't have pots of money so for gods sake at least make an attempt to spend it wisely.

Agree0 Disagree1

29 Apr 2018 10:49:19
It really does grate when we lose out on getting players to so called smaller clubs. I agree if we haven't got pots of money it needs spending wisely, not on the likes of Mbakogu and Yiadom. We also need to be smarter with loan signings, we have had the odd decent one like Bartley but we have had a lot of second raters over the years.

Agree1 Disagree0

29 Apr 2018 11:18:33
We will probably chuck money at signing Pennington, why God knows though. Surely the so called powers to be should at least have learnt something from the pathetic season we just witnessed. Not holding my breath though!
