R. I. P Trevor Cherry, remember watching play for England at the old Wembley in the late 70's, playing against Wales in the home internationals tournaments. That Wales team had Brian Flynn and Carl Harris playing also Leeds players. Trevor was a good steady player and for a time the only player from a Leeds team to play for England as were on our way down the leagues.

What was the score, seem to remember 1-0 to England? We went down on a school trip from Leeds.

We need to start talking about
next season starung with the current seasons ppg tally.
Being realistic the more league's that cancel with no promotion/ relegation to more likely it is that it will happen to us as well.
In fairness merging two seasons into 1 is fairer as we are not disadvantaged from this whole Covid thing. It may save a lot of legal disputes.

This season has to finish, shouldn't even be talkin about next season as no one knows wats round the corner, no matter how long it takes then stop and look at situation again
Makes me fume to hear ex Villa players saying null and void with no relegation, surprise surprise, teams are in the positions they are due to there performances so far this season,

Stop using common sense.
We all know it should finish (in my mind they are ignoring the obvious solution of making next season only playing each team once so things can get back on track) but it probably won't so we need to be ahead of this.

French 2 top league's now not going to be completed following the Dutch league. Someone linked with FIFA now coming out and saying maybe we should focus on starting up again next season. Got this horrible feeling that we going to see this season not finished. Then the question will be do we gain promotion from our current position or will promotion and relegation be voided this time. As a Leeds fan we probably can guess who will lose out!

From what I have read unlike the ridiculous scandalous closed shop. null. and void Dutch league ( which UEFA should not award any European competition places to ) the French League will not be null and voider and they will vote in May for one of 3 options to decide the season's league standings

1) ppg
2) mid season average
3) current standings

For the ( diminishing) integrity of European football there should be no null and voiding seasons that are 80% complete. Champions, relegation, promotion must be determined.

I think all the leagues are handling this haphazardly. They have finished the season in France with no plan how to finalise placings, no plan of entry to to European cup games. They have had over a month to debate this and possible outcomes so you would have thought they would have a plan about what's going to happen and whether clubs will be reimbursed for losses. No we will just finish the season and spend the next 12 months in litigation which will affect the start of the new season anyway. These governing bodies need a good shake up, no doubt they will blame their respective governments for their failings.

Bazooka, agree with everything you say mate and hope that fair play and sense is used in making any decision. Personally if we can't continue with resuming this season, that points per game is used, or at very least the standings as in championship we had all played the same amount of games. Just worrying that nothing every seems to go in our favour.

Hmm. the latest scandalous travesty of justice in European football .

Franz Beckenbauer yes that Cheat of the 75 Leeds EuropeanCup final .

Facing a UEFA World Cup bribery trial in a Swiss Court which riduculously takes 5 years without coming to a judgement and which has now ever so conveniently reached outside of the 15 years Statute of Limitations so no justice will take place

# absolute shambles and that is putting it politely.
