Dan James lots of talk? We usually don't do our business in public! Still think we 2 or 3 in even if only loans what is 3 or 4 months wages £25k x 3 = £75k a week for about 15 weeks is only just over a million pound, surely that would be worth a punt. The 3 guys from Fulham might be a good option.

I feel a bit sorry for young Daniel James. With the sort of figures bandied about he better be good from day one. At 10mill you are not buying for the future, you better start delivering from the first kick. Anything other than MOTM award and he will be the butt of "all a waste of money" chants from the opposition fans. I hope he is good and a strong character. Carrying a big price tag can sometimes be a burden. Not of his making. Still if Bielsa is driving this you just have to back his judgement and trust that all will be well.

I cannot care about the spending power of other Championship teams, we have to live within our means and to Leeds United, at this time, 10mill is a large fee. Of our squad how many cost near to that amount? Still when all said and done if MB likes him who am I to question? Also I just don't like being held to ransome/ paying over the odds. Surely the top attacker/ midfielder/ defender in L1 would be better value?

From my research, James is a winger.
Apart from Clarke, are there any wide players in our all conquering U18 and U23 teams that are going to be held back by bringing in a lad who won't be that much older than them?
(I obverse that a few of you guys, Spanish for instance, attend a lot of the lower tier games and are very knowledgable)

Partly what I meant Alf Both are a gamble (every new player anywhere is a gamble) but I would feel a little easier with a 2 million flop than a 10 million one.

Well January turned out better than i thought. Said back in November the team that ends Jan with a five point lead will be the one that goes up and F##K me that's us with a six point gap to third. Beat Norwich next game and will be hard for any one from third downwards to catch us. All play each other, SU especially have some tough games coming up. If only we could get a couple more signings in or have a guaranteed comeback for Brown and Bamford would settle my nerves a bit. can't wait for Norwich game going to be manic when we win. Onwards and upwards.

No Alf i just thought that 2nd and 3rd would be closer to us. Did not expect us to be 3 points in front of Norwich which will soon be 6.Think we will go further in front in Feb, and i always take the chasing packs fixtures into account, that's why i do not worry when we drop points. We will get at least 12 points in Feb which will do.

It seems to have a been a struggle to get players in this window . Not sure how many rumours were actually true but if we had managed to get johansen and Cavalerio in addition to Casilla who we did sign . Plus bamford and Izzy brown to come back who would be as good as new signings I think would of been the final pieces in the puzzle.

The window might be sliding down but it’s not shut yet! James is going to be about how much Swansea need the money. If they can sell enough of the others, perhaps not. So imagine it might go to the wire!
Still wouldn’t surprise me if we saw at least last minute loan. As the big boys know exactly who is coming, going and injured and with Bielsas contacts.
I’m intrigued by James. He is clearly being flagged up as a Bielsa buy. Imagine that we have seen a lot of him overtly and otherwise! An interesting pick!

I’d like to see a fresh face in the squad, I really wanted us to get johansen and Cavaleiro, if those rumours were true they would of been quality additions . James seems a lot of money for potential and some one who has played about what 20 professional games but that’s what they value him at so fair enough .

Exactly class, Spygate may or may not provide an advantage but isn’t illegal. Conning the referee by diving in the box definitely provides an advantage and is against the rule book. With all the cameras at the games for TV streaming can’t see why a form of VAR isn’t available to refs to keep the cheating scum out of the game.
