Hope its red bull, but i'm not banking on it cause when it comes to money we don't have luck what's so ever, m, o, t

You've got to stop going on about Nakhi Wells, just because he's from Yorkshire. he plays at a lower level and there's no evidence he would cut it in a top six championship team. and that's the level of players we need to bring in.

With investment on the horizon, I wouldn't mind taking a punt on the following 4 players -

Nahki Wells
Martin Kelly
John Guidetti
Max Gradel (Ok, not really a punt, more sentimental than anything else, but let's be honest he is a massive improvement on what we have got currently).

I'd also be looking to ship out a few too -

Norris
Varney
Brown
Blackstock (Back to Forest)
Hunt (Not likely, but more hopeful than anything else)

No doubt people will have their own opinions and rightly so, let's be honest, my opinion isn't going to influence the man matters, B'Mac, in to making any of them decisions.

Happy an all for the takeover / investment, but just annoyed it is coming now. The team is settling down and too many signings will just disrupt things.

with regards to ins and outs:

Out -
Norris,
Diouf (dont think we need him anymore and too much in wages), Blackstock,
Hunt doesn't offer us anything at the moment, but will probably change when he is 100%,
Drury and
Maybe Pugh (although he is doing well at the moment (but that miss!)
Tonge
Dawson (on loan)

Ins - more about positions and types then players.

A game changer type upfront or on the wing - Wells / Gnarby / Clayton (maybe)

A left or wing back - Cresswell, maybe Rowe

And a midfielder - Chalobah (rumours), Tom Carroll

In any case I want to add to the squad in a way that would keep us in harmony, rather than an overhaul which may disrupt our season.

Forgot to say, to the first poster, Guidetti would be a great shout.

If the investment is as huge as everyone is saying, I would go for :
Bridcutt from brighton, as if we're going to keep the diamond system then we won't be needing wingers so we need another quality midfielder. Right now we have 1 quality midfielder in Austin, up and coming in mowatt and murphy and then we could sell tonge or / and green.
Maybe a quick left wing back
If McDermott wants to change the system so we have wingers then we should look at drenthe and mcleary from reading instead of bridcutt

Why Rowe? because he is a Leeds fan? How many times you watched him?

Agree0 Disagree0

No I have not watched him play, nor have I watched Carroll, Chalobah, Guidetti, Clayton, Wells and loads of other players other players that are considered good.

I have worked on repuation and whether he could do a job for us, which I think he can. ain't the best player in the world, but in our formation I think he would fit in.

He has scored 4 in 17, which ain't bad for who I consider a wing back, can defend, has a little pace abouit him, is 25ish and is captain of his club. And would probably be available at a cut price. Admitedly he doest get that many assists but hey.

But I have just realised he is injured till Jan, so probably not the best signing. Maybe we should go for Gibbs from Arsenal.

Leeds Utd and Bradford City supporters team up to raise money for popular Leeds club stalwart.

The article is in todays Bradford T&A. I am hoping the wider Leeds Utd community could assist.

Carol underwent surgery on a brain tumour in November and it is the aim to raise £15,000 to contribute towards the cost of her private operation and post-operative care. The fundraising total so far stands at £5, 392

Looks like its red bull for xmas cheer
Realistically we need major players like this to get us back there. Few mill here and there won't do it. So, if it is them, then we will have to put up with a few poss iffy changes to leeds ( as long as the name stays the same ) to get back in prem. come january a big clearout is a necc and a tad more pace in midfield, wing or attack! Think we are in the mix this year anyhow but a tweak here and there and let the good times roll. Was blaystock injured on saturday?
