Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

It would be nice to still be top, but I think tonight's result was a good one for us. Surely West Brom beating teams in around the top six gives us a better chance of finishing in the top two?
After all, when QSI take us over and we win the Champions League in three years time, nobody will care if we finished first or second! 😜.

Still Sickens me Danum when they blatantly dive to win and you just know they won’t get investigated for it.

Make a good point though Danum and one I hadn’t considered. I was fighting the chip on my shoulder all last night asking why we never seem to be treated equally?

Not helped by another forum highlighting the PNE keeper not even booked let alone sent off as last man, number of people citing ‘double jeopardy rule’ in that penalty considered punishment enough.

Then one eagle eyed Leeds supporter asked why that didn’t apply to Berardi’s sending off at Wall?

Chips on both shoulders now!

Its Fulham we need to drop points. Brom did not deserve the pen but that's how it goes, poor ref as did not even book goalie. Will the dive be looked at, doubt it.

Know what you mean Berm. Didn't tell you guys til now but I lost Mrs Integrity because of the playoffs and by that I mean we split up. Something to do with LUFC being more important than her mother dying.

We have to graft for our wins and WBA seem to get the lucky breaks, never a penalty hope your head in shame referee. Don't even need VAR to check that one.

Kyle Edwards would get a retrospective ban for that dive if he played for Leeds.

Will the striker get a ban for successful deception of a referee.
No, he doesn't play for Leeds.

Bamford reminds me in a way of Alan Smith. And I'm pretty sure some will mention his goal record as the similarity. But to me it's his overall team play. Works extremely hard, runs the channels, links up the play and seems to love putting on the White shirt.
When my phone beeped on Saturday that a goal was scored for Leeds I literally waited and hoped it was Paddy.

Corky. I had great confidence in bam bam to score on Saturday. I was at the game and put £20 on pat to score 1st goal and us to be winning half time full time. So win £120 on my trip over. Saying that, I spent a great deal
More in the city eating out and drinking a fare share off pints. Had a great week end and hoping too get over again for the Huddersfield game. Would take another 4-0 win. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️👍👍.

Away to Arsenal in the FA cup, good time to play them? Or a distraction from the league?

Arsenal away.
I’m loving that.
Remember when we had about 6 replays in the early 90’s I think. 🤪.

Have we really come that far, are we better then last season, we still can’t put games to bed, can’t seen to score many goals, yes we got 4 from a bottom team, when others are putting away 7, against team we find hard to beat, yes we are top but then so we’re we last season.

Agree0 Disagree0

03 Dec 2019 11:31:42
Think we can say we are better than last season, performance and results point to that. Defensively better, still hold possession well, and now the midfield are scoring as well takes pressure of Bam who will score maybe not loads but works hard every where else. Yes would like a prolific goal scorer but think we miss a big CB as well. was not too bothered when Janson went and Ben arrived as i rated Ben from the start. However at set pieces, corners and free kicks we miss his height in there so a lot are wasted. So overall would say we are better and Bubs is managing better but always room for improvement.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEN WHITE!

Definitely was our birthday to get this guy on loan, for me, player of the season to date, and our most consistent and dare I say valuable player we have!

A Brighton season ticket holder (walks his dog behind the Amex! ) son is in the youth team says they will leave him with us all season with a view to integrate them next season.

Thank god! For me Ben is already streets ahead of Lewis Dunk, think we should all send him bags of cotton wool in which to wrap himself.

Excellent win although given the state of Middlesborough at the moment it was our best chance of racking up the goals. I think, looking at the teams in the top half the Championship, it's a three horse race for automatic promotion. It's Leeds, West Brom. and Fulham. Preston will fall away. West Brom will stay the distance and I hope (with a bit of confidence) that we don't have our usual New Year collapse. I can't see any of the others doing much. Fulham seem to be the ones to watch - hope they don't do a Sheffield on us.

think we all need to get some perspective and here it is; our fans are ugly, our stadium is minging and we are living in the past. we will never ever be better than borough!

And presumably Middlesbrough is also a famous tourist hotspot like Paris, Barcelona and Rome, boasts a burgeoning economy and the most beautiful women in the world.
After Marcelo was so gracious to Woody, I hope they grace League One next season. Ugly teesiders.

But we already are as the score proved 4-0 4-0 4-0 4-0 4-0 4-0 there has it sank in yet now crawl away you’ve got to start looking for a new manager soon and planning for next season in league one 😉.

And so after a season's best performance and five straight wins all Leeds fans once again start daring to dream . To dream that we really are automatic promotion candidates . That Bamford has finally found his scoring boots, as has Klich! That Costa really is a £15 m player , Harrison a consistent performer, and that everything in the Leeds garden is rosy . That the sunny uplands of Premier league football really do await us next season .
But wait a minute, this is Leeds we are talking about and with the Leeds we all know and love potential disappointment lurks behind every corner . So personally as a sanity preservation method largely, I prefer to dwell on the negatives and that will probably only change once we are mathematically up . So yes I worry how we will cope without KP against the dog botherers, when Bamford will miss his next gilt edged chance and Harrison fail to beat the first man . When Eddie will be recalled by Arsenal or even Ben by Brighton god forbid . How long Kiko's ban will be and who will replace him . And finally how we will deal with our annual January window cock up . And in this way my brothers, I keep myself grounded and should the worst happen won't want to shoot myself!

Yes, but also let's not forget how far we have come.
It was not that long ago we were loosing to non league teams in FA Cup.
While we had a couple of bad owners that words cannot describe.
Hope for the best, be prepared for the worst!
