With MC allegedly having commented that the club is in worse shape now than before his ban I wonder who will be falling on their sword? Salerno? Umbers? Someone certainly should for the (numerous) ridiculous goings on. NR, on the otherhand, deserves huge credit for having retained Championship status. And he is Leeds through and through and carries the majority of the fans with him (and therefore gate receipts). Wouldn't MC do himself a huge favour (credibility) by giving NR another season rather than 'gamble' with more major change? Is there really a coach/manager of proven quality prepared to join this comedy house at this time. Then there's the threat of further FL banning action so a sale may have more appeal (and value) with NR plus the youngsters intact rather than a team put together from a random dart-like throwing exercise.

always any manager either out of work or with lower club will to join any comedy house if job is there. silly to think otherwise. I like redders but would like a better guy come in. Warbuton would jump at job, big sam if sacked at west ham would be amazing, harry redknapp is looking for big champ club but not sure if he would leave Poole, don't know forgiene football well but sure there is manay a talented manager out there who would jump at employment. don't mind if redders goes back to different post at club but it has to be for the right man

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - Redknapp won't move from Poole, that is straight from his own mouth, though I suppose it is questionable how much faith can be placed in his words.....}

Can you believe Redfearn never told his squad they were going to do a lap of honour, then suggested in his interview it was them that had not turned up when half of them were sitting in the west stand

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed013's Note - Sorry mate, that doesn't make sense. The team was always going to walk around the pitch at full time. They announced it on the speaker at full time giving them plenty of time to come down from the stand}

02 May 2015 23:15:53
My point is Redfearn never told them beforehand, bad communication, maybe they thought they were not invited maybe they thought only team playing would do lap . He can't blame some one for not taking part if he has not told them to, that's the problem at the moment, nobody seems to be talking to one another then blaming each other on social media and in interviews. Who do you think should take responsibility for communicating with the the players.

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed013's Note - Apologies, I thought you meant in general to all of the players. To be fair, after what they have done I wouldn't have had any interest in them. I tried to speak with Silvestri afterwards and ask what was going on etc but he wasn't interested. If the players cared for Leeds and the fans they could have come down from the stand at the end}

Totally agree but its a two way street and I think we all know if you are somewhere you feel your not wanted then you lose interest. Guess they are all waiting for reassurances from Cellino same as Redfearn. If Redders had told them we are doing a lap of honour and I want you in it they should have been there. I don't think he did so I do not think he can use that to have a go at them. True they should have got off their bums and gone down but maybe they might not want to be here next season time will tell,

Well a forgettable season is now over thank god. The hard work starts Monday. Hopefully it is not a p45 for Redders. Love him or hate him the alternative is most likely much worse. It is too much of a gamble to risk an unknown even if his Sunday League pub team are runaway league leaders and holders of the Dog and Gun Cup.
The, he may not be very good but at least he is cheap, philosophy strangely does not seem to work. (see Hockaday, Milanic. )
Unless the name on the door is well respected then the young guns will want away. Their loyalty will be to the father figure that is Redfern and without him there will be much less of a bond with Leeds United. From the other side is not extreme to say that Cellino will not see them as the future but merely a short term profit and cash in, filling the void with (cheap) Italians

One of my least favourite seasons we've had. Only big positives are the young players and Silvestri for me. However I would stick with Redfearn because I think he'll be better then whoever Cellino brings in. We won't get a Big Sam or people of that nature. If it's not redfearn it'll be another hockaday or yes man, and I like redfearn so hopefully he stays. Hopefully we can make come good signings! MOT next season

He is carp without help
Mcc is a moron so not sure of answer
Maybe if we look like being relegated next year. He will sell

So everyone wants stability and for us to move forward next year, and you think the best way to do it is boo cellino and give the media another bad headline for the club. If he sold us who would buy us, we are a poisoned chalice. Big money is not going to buy us, especially with GFH hanging in there. Some two bit consortium who will have to sell two players a year to balance the books because they have no money to invest is what we will end up with. Cellino wants us in the premiership, he will know the mistakes he has made, and he will do what he thinks is the right thing. Is redfearn good enough, in my opinion no. He had a good run with Thompson then we lost five in a row, that can not be blamed on on Thommo going, same team so he should be able to motivate them to show up at game time he did not which shows to me he is lacking as a head coach.Putting cones out on his own, if true, sshows how much backing he has from other staff, ie goalkeeping coach, fitness coach why did they not help him. Lot of rhetoric going about aimed at Cellino who up until now could not respond. The first question I would be asking is why did you have me waste so much money bringing players in if you had no intention of playing them. A lot of the players deserved a chance and never got it that's down to Redfearn not because they are not good enough but because he wanted players in who would not question his ability or tactics. I would not be surprised if know he has upped his profile he ends up with Oldham next season

well go to get season ticket by end of mth bit early .but hard thing is know one knows what's going on . are we going to start like last year . mc ruling the roast . getting in an inexperienced coach reason so he can pick our players and again most Italian . I can see it after 6/7 games sacked . if we look now most of his signing didn't play and now most of the rest don't now. we need a good owner with cash to splash build the club to into top six or top two. we need a coach who knows the league and can bring in players to bulid a stronger team capable of doing this . mc you don't have the knowledge of football to bring in players what your doing is bringing them in getting inexperience coach and saying get on with it . THIS IS NOT PROGRESS ITS YOU TRYING TO PICK TEAM NO GOOD FOR LEEDS FOOTBALL TEAM . we need a coach who brings in who he wants talks to you about why he wants them and then you as yes OK . this is how a football team moves forward . if you bring in players like last year it will be the same .grow up MC your not a coach and you don't know enough to bring in players .AGAIN RUN THE CLUB don't TRY AND RUN THE TEAM . LEARN AFTER ALL YOU STUFFED UP THIS SEASON .HOW MANY PLAYERS THAT YOU BROUGHT IN didn't EVEN GET A GAME .,, SO THAT WAS A WASTE OF MONEY WHY BECAUSE YOU didn't KNOW WHAT YOU WERE DOING
LEEDS 3 ROTHERHAM 1
