I’d rather do it by finishing the season and winning the league outright, all our haters will say you got promoted by a technicality and didn’t earn it, I can hear the likes of frank lamppost whinging and whining already.

If we are promoted by whatever means, we have all waited so long for it, LUFC haters can say what they want, and me personally, I couldn't give a toss what they all think or say, because we have, over the last two seasons been the best footballing team in the Championship. MOT UTW.

As each day goes on the fairest and safest option is for current league placings to stand.

. Champions and promotion must be awarded for clubs efforts and achievements.

I would also have relegation but feel it is more likely that they would have a compromise ( cop out) with no relegation so a larger premier league next season of 22 clubs. question is will football ever restart in 2020 let alone 2021.

Villa got a point with relagation tbh. Although lucky to be there in the first place.
I don’t think uk can cop out like holland Germany and France.
No way Liverpool don’t deserve title so we do too.
There is no other fair outcome.

This season must be finished, how can you start a new new season without finishing the current one.
Then if this season is cancelled and there is a virus spike next winter, do you cancel that season as well?
You could end up with 2 or 3 seasons being unfinished in that scenario.

The way I see it, the season needs to be completed because at the beginning of the season all clubs knew the rules and expected to play every club h and a in a 46 game season to determine auto promotions and play offs. So if it takes a further 6 months or whatever, that was the original expectation. Failing that, clubs will be unfairly punished and unfairly dodge a bullet etc. The new season, prior to kickoff, even if it's only 23 games to be played on the beach of Bognor Regis, and no boots allowed, will be known by all teams so no body gets an advantage and everyone knows the rules. It really is that simple. To even consider null and voiding the season is mischievous and to me, corrupt. Finish it using the agreed format prior to season kickoff, then make the rules for the makeshift 20-21 season.

If a league decides it really cannot continue an 80 % completedleague season then so be it

but don't then null and void that season


Find solutions by either ppg, current league standings etc to award champions, euro places, relegation and promotion places for the INTEGRITY of football and your league.

The fact that UEFA have not ( yet) proved directives to insist that leagues must NOT be null. and voided and that leagues must determine champions, relegation and promotion places even if seasons cannot continue reveals that UEFA is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE in ensuring the INTEGRITY and FAIRNESS of European football leagues and authorities. o ensure that leagues are fair, not a closed shop, not ( blatantly) biased and corrupt.

. but in all seriousness the foolishness of null and voiding an 80 % incomplete season will likely ensure that next season will be null and voided too because it's extremely unlikely that a 100% full season would be completed or even started using the same health criteria that will still exist.


Null and voiding this season will very likely open a pandora box of legal cases for years to come.
