If league had started on day Evans took charge we'd be in 10th place with a game in hand which would not be too bad.

If league was based on a manager making the least non-contradictory statements to the press we'd be in the relegation zone.

If league was based on weight of manager we'd have qualified for Europe by now.

Maybe we should judge him on that statistic rather than on current league because maybe if will give him full season he could get us promotion.

Is it just me, or is 10th, 12th, 15th just all part of the same poo? Doesn't really excite me unless it's say, 6th!

I wonder how many on here calling for Evans to be gone criticize Massimo for sacking managers.

Probably zero wex. At this stage it doesn't matter how many managers Cellino has fired or will fire. It's about his summer cheque book. Evans on the whole has done the best job so far of all the coaches appointed no doubt. However once you persistently speak carp and double talk you are exposed to criticism. Performances like one against canine pests won't help him. He needs to beat Rotherham.

Not really bothered if evans stays or goes. Be happy if come summer we have a long term plan with proper investment on playing side and whatever manager and fans get behind the club. Cellino has to deliver to shut the crazy bunch up and maximise hos investment. This league will only get harder to get out of.

Wex you make some fair points, if we fire SE then it is mad MC if we don't we get accused of settling for average, who would be an owner of a club (well me if I had a 500m) .

Money is always important and we need to invest, how much this summer is a matter of opinion and that debate could go on forever. We also need a clear strategy/ plan of what we are trying to do, both in terms of playing (having a Plan A, plan B and even plan C to react to how games are going) and the club itself.

Big issue with us and has been for ages is our neg view in the press/ social media, we need to address this as well as it breads discontent which spreads like wildfire.

so part of club strategy must be to try and manage this, i. e. get someone in just like you have a CEO, Scouting system etc this would help us be a more stable club.

Of course the best way is to have success on the pitch (this harder to achieve! ) so of course we need 4-5 good players to come in (who are better than we have) , sure we will have to pay good money for at least 3 of them but there must be bargains around in summer who won't cost much, we just need a good scouting system etc to spot them.

I don't accept that managing/ running Leeds is an impossible job but you do need more than 1 or 2 people (MC/ SE) who can make decisions in running things. As Hay said in his piece recently it feels like SE is a dead man walking but I would say that down to media/ MC so for me if SE can get decent results in the last 9 games, get us to around 10/ 11th and look at his stats at the end of the season and with this squad I think he deserves a go next season.

Equally if the next 9 games are average/ pants then start again but any new guy would need to come in quick, I hope SE gets the results in the last 9 games to convince MC as another change will just be groundhog day. again and again. etc.
