After the game at Derby.

I was heading back to the train station when who pulls up at the side of me in a Range Rover? That's right. Massimo himself being chauffeured along. I shouted him and game a good old fashioned "Leeds Leeds Leeds" salute.

I said "come on massimo" to which he echoed my salute. Couldn't believe my luck. Facetimed (other video chat apps are available) some of the lads up in Wakefield and got him to do it again on camera. What a day.

I arrived at the train station to see massimo on his own waiting for the train. His chat was minimal but he took the time to pose for a selfie with me and to show me his mobile telephone cover - this was of course a Leeds United one!

We all have our opinions. But I have to say. An all round decent bloke.

Greetings one and all. Just back from a break in the smoke, probably near your stomping ground BW (Surrey Quays?).

Great result at the weekend. A fantastic team performance. Cook, Ant (for his cameo role), Wood (for his goal), Cooper (improving) and the best right back in the league, Berardi, for me were all excellent but there was plenty more to be excited about including Adey, Sol and the rest of them. Sam looks like he's trying to stay injury free for his big move and good luck to him if he goes. I just hope the money will be re-invested if not this transfer window but the next one, ready for a push to promotion.

I wonder what Untouchables and his mate who reckon we are embarrassing think right now?

We're going in the right direction and if we can take games to the likes of Derby, we shouldn't be afraid of any team in this league.

hello MM,

i know surrey quays well. opposite the station the other side of the shopping center is a football and boxing club called red lion, that is where is use to play and box as a lad and where I hold all my rehearsals now so I am always there. Just the other side is a spoons where I had a great row with three millwall fans over a team you may of heard of called leeds. Next time your that way let me know and ill be in the spoons for a drink.

also agree with the post we are going the right way and sooner or later will be going up

Yeah sorry Georgie boy. I've let myself down again. I shouldn't have mentioned them but couldn't resist. (Captain? lol).

Ed, I've got a bit more hair than Statham although every morning more and more is left on my pillow so could be a dead ringer for him in a few months (I wish)!

BW, next time we go down to the smoke I'd gladly join you for a pint or three in 'Spoons.

Lads, there will always be some drama off the pitch in the back ground that's leeds utd!!
What counts is that its not effecting our lads on the pitch

Great weekend, we win, that other United lose. (I'm guessing Ed decided what I'd called them in a previous post was deemed not fit to post.) At least one new signing on the way and a general good feel around the club. The force will be with us, always
