Simply can't justify the argument for us running out of steam. First season we did falter at the end, but that was MB's first season with pretty much the same squad as the previous year and if Casilla had not tackled Coops for that first Derby goal, who knows. Last season we won 5 games on the bounce Before the shutdown. Every team in the division had the same break and we lost our first game back to Cardiff, the rest is now history. So where is the proof that This squad will wilt? We have less games to play and some excellent recruitment. Just does not stack up for me and I believe we will only improve. Thought I would say :) Happy new year siblings x.

Comparisons between klopps first season at Liverpool and bubs with us. Run out of steam and a few injuries to boot. Takes time adjusting to playing heavy metal bielsa ball, once the fitness and players are sorted then all of a sudden it clicks.

Typical of the media not wanting to let this ridiculous story of Karen Carney disappear into yesterday’s news. In essence if your gender is female you can make very controversial comments in the media with zero repercussions.!
Society’s snowflake people say that if a male pundit had said something similar there wouldn’t have been a similar reaction from the club or fans, as far I can see or hear at Leeds, we do react to adverse comments made about our club on the media, male or female.
Too many people today want to be compartmentalized as something so that they can be labeled as a victim of society. That’s not a popular opinion these days, you’ll always get some idiots who will take their reaction one step to far towards Carney, I’m afraid the reality is society is not perfect and never will be.

The table is very tight at the moment!
To be 3pts behind 5th place is absolutely amazing! If we had been offered that at the start of the season we would have taken it gladly!
3 more games to the half way mark! If we could grab 7pts from these we would be sitting pretty on 30pts! Nearly safe and no tension for the 2nd half of the season!
I'm probably getting carried away but it is nice to look UP.

Yep, guilty as charged mate. Keep checking the table. Getting to the 40 points mark looks more likely than not, anything else is a bonus. Winning against the teams towards the lower half of the table is key and so far so good. I do think Spurs are likely to beat us and yes we will lose several games by maybe big scores. But we are also capable of the type of result like WBA game to a few in this league.

Ha ha I was looking at that after the WBA game as well - only 3pts behind 5th is very tasty but safety has to be the first goal. Like you say if we can get a decent points haul in the next 2 or 3 games we should be able to relax a bit going into the final half of the season. Wouldn't that be amazing!

Wont be too disheartened to lose at Spurs, considering Mourinho is a tactical master, (dont like to see us lose, but I'm a realist) , BHA, Soton and Newcastle much more realistic point gains, don't want a tanking thou.

Spent while season looking up and I’m the most negative in here. There is no reason to look down Nd that ain’t acceptable. Spurs have hit a bump in the road and we are flying high no reason we can’t win, that said a loss is acceptable as long as it ain’t by four goals and a repeate of what we have seen before.
