Well now it all makes sense, we have been waiting for the news to say Zaindain Zidane has left Real Madrid before we sack Paul Rockbottom, then next week Zidane will be at Elland Road! Also England will the World Cup and I will win the Lottery! If only Carlsberg made real life so good. 👌👍

Funny how we are constantly being linked to various managers. Now why the hell isn't our glorious leader who in his own words has the support off the majotity of Leeds fans either put a end to the nonsense by coming out and supporting his choice Heckingbottom or tweeting (something he likes to do) that he is in the market for a new manager/coach.

Ideguchi must really be glad he signed to join Leeds, voted Japan's young player of the season and broke into the Japan squad and helped them qualify for the world cup. His world looked wonderful then loaned out to some second rate spanish team in partnership with Leeds and boy did they and (leeds) kill his world cup. Hope this hasn't killed his career.

Above most things, this one irks me most, relative to this regime. It's been a disgraceful way to look after the fella. The culture change alone would be enough to upset many of us, but to then be booted out to a totally different culture to the club you've signed for is just Pee poor. That said, I hope he shows the management were wrong next season, and gets a boost from the Elland Rd faithful.

Another of those bizzare decisions made by the hierarchy at our club last season.

I read that he was loaned out to experience our culture, our weather and our football. How Leonesa could provide an insight into Leeds weather, Culture and how we play I, for the life of me, cannot see. He would have been better served hanging round outside Yates's on a February evening and getting the odd runout at Elland Road. I agree with all of you. Nothing short of criminal. Makes me ashamed to be a Leeds/Radz supporter. I only wish Phil Hay would ask Radz directly why?

Can only think he was signed to benefit Radzs company and its tv rights or merchandising in Japan. Beginning to think Leeds come second to his other business ventures.

Been better sending him to Beeston St Anthonys.

No European pre-season tour for us then so don't get excited one home game against Las Palmas, rest away against crap teams no point mentioning them.

Only to be expected Gelderd. We just returned from a post season tour in the Far East. Time to stay at home. As for low opposition, tis always the way. It's mainly about fitness, not form.

No doubt mass changes at half time but again as per Burma let's hope that some of the young guns grab their chance.

Don’t forget we get to play our local rivals of Guisley, Harrogate, and maybe Darlington or Hartlepool who usually remind us how poor we can be on the pitch. No disrespect to any mentioned teams above intended!

Radz replace Hecky with Zidane. Do it now! ZZ, we wear white too but we are the bigger club and have more sophistication.

Spend, spend, spend is the cry of many fans, not just on here, but a significant number everywhere. And of course, we'd all love that. But what if it doesn't work, in the same way as under Ridsdale? What if it doesn't work, as has become apparent for Villa today. Do we really want to go back to the hell hole we've been in? Not me! I'll take stability, and a strategic, albeit slower route back, rather than go down that road again!

Right strategy for last season wrong for this. There are younglings to support. They'll stay sign long-term contracts if we vie for PL. No ambition results in their departure then we watch them become 20m players. No thanks. Support them with better players such as Abel, Kyle and Marriott and you've then got a team. Don't forget the riches are there. Fulham win meant 170m extra coming to them. Eventually you got to make a play and that means spending. Even though we finished lower half just 4 or 5 quality signings would see in the top 6 in my opinion.

Agree9 Disagree5

31 May 2018 08:20:14
It's about spending right, in the right way. But players that fit into the right positions and in the areas we need. Not a singer or midfielder trying to be a forward. Look at the areas we are lacking in and buy for that position. Spend the money on quality once or several times trying to correct the mistake. Agree George that the rewards are there, so the old saying spend money to make money. Horses for courses etc, etc. But maybe get the right person to do the spending, learn from Ortas mistakes maybe Radz. Just a thought!

Winger, although singer hhmmm, might be an idea! Lol

31 May 2018 09:34:08
Def agree. Bart’s and hern alone will get us up there. Not a Marriott fan. We don’t need to spend a fortune. We have 5-6 good players plus youth coming through. Just spend big on the few we need.

31 May 2018 11:09:23
I think 10 to 12 high quality first team players should see us challenging next season

Agree1 Disagree1

31 May 2018 12:11:56
Radz hasn't learned from Ortas mistakes though Mezzer because he's still here can anyone really see a quality manager coming here with the control Orta has because I cant, Ranieri etc will want to bring his own players in without Orta sticking his oar in if Heck goes so should Orta needs doing now think Radz will stick with what he's got though his best mate Orta and yes man Heck last seasons buys were pathetic costing millions and several players on ridiculous contracts who will take some moving on, Radz is best in league at making naff decisions he's larned nothing, good business man poor owner, needs change quqickly.

Agree3 Disagree2

31 May 2018 13:36:07
Fully agree with most of other posts about bringing in quality players to play in their preferred roles. We want strikers who can score goals, midfielders with good energy who will win the ball back, can spot a pass, and break up opposition play. Having good strikers and forwards is all well n good but they need the quality supply. Radz should know in this business you get what you pay for, keep buying nobody’s we will go nowhere fast! Need to make a decision about Heck, is he in or out, this silence on him helps no one . Despite the investment in our club I have a bad feeling Radz is just going to let last seasons woes go unheeded. It’s crap when our rivals are more decisive, Florist snapping up Dawson on a free, would have done us for a season. Derby not messi g about and appointing Lampard as manager, yep he’s unproven but he will attract decent players because of who he is and his connections. Get Ranirie in for us makes sense to me and give him free hand!

Agree1 Disagree1

31 May 2018 14:23:02
Again wise words from everyone. Got to agree with you Brighty, moderation in all things, even overspending. I have no problem with pushing the budget but not to buy 7 or 8 potential stars who as soon as they finish their exams (11 plus) may be knocking on the door. I would however advocate the purchase of one or two perfect fits, who tick all the boxes. I know it still will not guarantee promotion but surely an educated choice will shorten the odds.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 May 2018 15:34:36
Lampard might well attract decent players but Derby have no money to buy them.

Agree0 Disagree0

31 May 2018 17:18:44
Bet derby will be full of Chelseas up and coming stars most of them unproven in the championship but used to winning. Lampard has Jody Morris on-board and he has been coaching them for awhile. If Lampard instills his work effort for training into Derby then I can see them doing well.

I know it's early days in the Transfer Window, but as usual the silence is deafening around ER. I hope some big decisions are being made regarding potential transfers and the Manager's position, please Radz let's have some positive news soon because when there is a World Cup on the TW becomes a bit stagnant as a lot of the Movers and Shakers will be at the tournament. I hope we aren't scrambling around on the last day for a signing or two.

Bright, with out proper funds we will stay in the hell hole, had the money spent last season for 26 players be used to buy quality players to the existing team left by monk we may have had a better season, you can’t just buy a club and fund it the way Radz has cause it ain’t going to work as we have seen, if he can’t bring major moneys then he need to take a long hard look on who can and sell some more of his share. 30 mil will not get us much. Simple

I too have that sinking feeling Speedy. I just hope that faith in the young guns applies and that we do not and do not have to, scramble.

To me Whiteman, the hell hole was repeat administrations, 15 point deductions, league one football, and not owning our ground. Thankfully that is not a position we face right now.
