Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

Do us all a favour lads and don't post any more smithy rumours on the site it's just getting tedious and boring now. I would say the majority of us don't think it's a good idea, think it would be a waste of money and isn't the future of this club.

Believable13 Unbelievable4

You do us all a favour and keep your opinion to yourself. That's the whole idea of a forum, to express thoughts and hopes you got a cheek fella . Bet you know next to nowt about the beautiful game .

Agree5 Disagree7

I got to agree with the 1st post that its getting boring now. The man aint coming back and we dont need him back so this put it to bed

Agree6 Disagree1

It would be nothing more than a publicity stunt. I think the player, the manager and the chairman all know that.

These discussions would never happen if Batty hadn't come back and played so well for his last few seasons!

O.Dea is, along with Lees, our most solid CH. True he made a big gaff to give away the goal on Sunday but everyone makes mistakes. He has scored important goals recently.McCormacks form has dipped to last years levels and early this season. He missed a bucket load against Ipswich and sitters against Coventry. No one is calling for him to go. Howson is still playing out of position. He is not very good in the present formation. He is creating very little and not giving any stability in the centre of mid field. Defensively he is not good enough and is out of the game too much.If his role doesn't change the manager should try someone else. Stikers looking a bit of the pace and off side far too much -usually due to coming back to slowly. Therefore mid creativity needs boosting as does ball winning capacity. Easier said than done!!

Believable5 Unbelievable2

I still think it was a foul from mason.

Agree3 Disagree0

Yes Probably got a nudge in the the back but the ball should have been in the back of the stand by then anyway.

Seriously how long is it until Grayson finally see that O'Dea is one of the worst centre halves to have ever pulled on a Leeds jersey and that's saying something with some of the shocking centre halves we've previously had.

Believable1 Unbelievable18

You werent saying that when he scored in the other games did ya. Player has a bad game- slate him. Get a grip.

Agree12 Disagree2

Worse than gregan and butler, doubt it you fool.

Agree6 Disagree1

Not once in my life have I ever given O'Dea credit because he never deserves it ever, two goals recently doesn't hide how useless he is. Gregan and Butler poor players but compared to O'Dea they're like Nesta and Cannavaro you simpleton.

Agree1 Disagree8

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think Gregan was a centre half. He played in midfield (badly) & with his fat Rse & lack of fitness he bore a striking resemblance to 'fat boy' Butler but he didn't play in the same position.
I do accept the point that both of them were crap.

Agree3 Disagree2

Don't think comparing a championship defender to world cup winners is very fair either. Think there's only one winner there

Agree3 Disagree0

Two words: Roque Junior

Agree2 Disagree0

Dont be stupid, its a foul on him which is worse, he has his first bad game since Southampton and yet again impatient fans jump on his back

Agree2 Disagree0

Foul?? Yet O'Dea one of the biggest moaners around didn't even say a word. Your so thick for trying to defend someone for something even they know themselves is their fault. First bad game since Southampton you clearly don't watch Leeds very often.

Anybody think that SG is playing Howson no matter what at present in order to keep him sweet and attempt to get him to sign a new deal. He knows that it will be difficult getting him to sign in any event, never mind if he drops him! I am a Howson fan, but it is probably true at present that MV should be given a go in his stead... form not great this season.

Believable7 Unbelievable0

It begs belief that despite his form Howson continues to pull on the shirt. What is it going to take to try something different?

Agree5 Disagree0

And if this is his form, why would he want him to sign? It makes no sense!

Clingan staying put? How can anyone be settled in Leamington?! Leeds much better than Leamington.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

Leeds is better than Leamington, nice Spa town though. Reminded me of Harrogate.

Agree2 Disagree0

Harrogate is way nicer ,,,,,,,, it's closer to ER for a start ;-)

From what i can see we dont seem to create enough good chances from midfield for the strikers and also i feel howson looks stale and i would like to see the finn replace him for a few games,as for pugh i would play sam anyday instead of him and why oh why do we percist in floating crosses and not drilling them into the box,its beyond me!! MOT for life!1

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Can you do better!

Agree1 Disagree0

2nd poster- irrelevant question. It's about opinions of the professionals concerned, players, managers.

Agree1 Disagree1

It is irrelevant but the original poster is wrong. We created loads of chances against a good Cardiff team and only drew because their keeper put in a pretty astonishing performance.

Agree2 Disagree0

I dont think chances or goals is really an issue at the moment. 12 shots on target against Cardiff, 25 goals in 14 games, and only 2 league games without a goal so far this season, that's nearly 2 goals a game on average.

People need to start facing up to the fact that the team isn't actually as bad as they think. we're not conceding as many as we were, we're a great attacking side, and we're sat just outside the playoffs in touch with everyone above us. Get Lonegran back, and the defence will settle down again, and if we keep the form into the new year, we're in with a really good shout of playoffs.

Hope our midfield turns up for the full match on wed.

Believable6 Unbelievable3

I'd rather have bloody smith here than Howson

Agree7 Disagree8

Rather have Smith haha, hes too busy in his counting house counting out his money, besides hes crap anyway.

Darren o dea looking to make a permanent move to Leeds at the end of the season to get regular first team action

Believable5 Unbelievable5

After yesterday he should never be allowed to wear a leeds shirt again!! something in my eye indeed, what a crock of crap that was!!

Agree2 Disagree8

1st reply. I don't hear you saying get McCormack out because he hasn't scored for a few games. Get a grip. Everyone makes mistakes and we have to move on from it

Agree5 Disagree0

One mistake, yes it cost us 2 points but your going abit over the top over the last few week he's been solid for us. not a true fan at all

Agree9 Disagree0

How can you judge whether or not he is a true fan. Just because he has an opinion. It might be wrong, or not the same as yours, but doesn't mean he isn't a true fan.

Agree3 Disagree4

He should have put the ball over the stand, doesnt help however when your nudged in the back which obviously put him off his stride,Leeds are playing well but not getting their just rewards at present, nailed on play off spot, hopefully more.

Agree5 Disagree2

Play offs not a chance !!

Agree2 Disagree5

You have to stick by the lads they are not playing bad at all they just deserve a little more luck, we have the quality to go up. but odea may have made one mistake thats not enogh to kick him out of a back four who have been solid in the last few weeks

Agree4 Disagree0

1st reply, go support another club pal you clearly dont have a clue, one mistake and hes on the crucifix, youre probably one of them 'fans' that will jump on Graysons back when something goes wrong aswell

I thought we were excellent in the second half and rubbish in the first. we clearly looked like a team with players that had played lots of recent games, with players cementing their places. i dont think it would harm for SG to rotate an odd player when we have 2 games per week. Also SG please put a man infront of the keeper on corners. it short sights him and allows the player to pick up loose balls. if mccormack had been in front of marshall when howson headed goalwards he could have flicked it in or simply blocked the view of the keeper. i was taught this as a kid so come on guys you train all week! mccormack was doing it early on but this drove me insane last year.
