The lack of postings here demonstrates the stagnation of the club and the fans. There is no passion, no excitement, just a passive hope that BMD is our saviour.
Nice chap but not for LUFC.
I have been a fan for 40 years and have never felt so negative for our future.
Get a grip
Never felt so negative really for the first time in a long time this season I've actually looked forward to going to elland road to watch my team play yes where not perfect but when leeds is in the blood you almost owe it to the club to turn up and back the team because they deserve our support mot.
Original poster . 55 years a fan and I can't remember feeling so positive as I do now for such a long time. After the debacle we have witnessed for the past 10 years and even back to the suicidal days of Peter Ridsdale, just now feels different . and right.
Brian McDermott . "nice chap" and exactly what LUFC need to bring back some stability.
JDC
So your telling me you felt MORE positive last season under warnock? My god some people need a reality check of where we are as a club, yes I know we've heard it before but we are in transition and in my opinion this time it feels like it could work, not saying well be works beaters but it seems like everyone at the club is now all pulling in the same direction and that can only be a good thing, well nearly everyone apart from a few so called fans that think we should beat everyone and sign everyone. Bmd is the man to take us forward it will just not come over night
MOT
It might be a little quiet on here because the transfer window has closed, we've signed a loan player (Blackstock) and signed one (Zaliukas). It's pretty much as you were until January. I was amazed to find out we used Pro-Zone for the first time against Huddersfield since we were relegated from the Prem League. Brian Mc is rebuilding this club from the bottom up. I know it's hard to take another season of mediocrity but, I get the sense we are at the beginning of a good journey that hopefully ends with us back in the top flight.
Going to be at least one season of mediocrity and possibly next season too as BM gets rid of the deadwood from NW's squad and puts his own stamp on the team. Some of the players signed by NW I can see dragging there heels a bit and wait out the rest of there contract sitting on the bench or in the reserves which will limit out spending as there wages are on the books. Looking positive at the minute and better than anything in the last few years under KB, at least I feel GFH will spend some cash if its needed
Does the highest attendances in the championship reflect negativity, the best away support in england, constant tv coverage, fans still singing Brian's name despite bad runs of form.
I think you need a reality check
Dont think are home attendances are great to say the owners have slashed ticket prices I mean prices for tomoz are more than reasonable £10 for kids and £20 for adults what more do some fans want get behind the team and club
An average of 25000 for a mid table championship team is pretty good. The only team better is brighton who have been faking their attendances
As others have said there is no point in talking about transfers as not likely to be any until window opens. BM said as much in I/v this week. We have a big squad and quite a few out on loan. BM should be able to manipulate this squad to keep us in touch with the top 6 until the window opens. Then, if Premiership still a realistic prospect, owners will need to show that they can support the manager in his transfer dealings!
Leeds have the 2nd highest average crowds this season behind Brighton, so it looks like the fans have faith. Still our highest was 33, 50 for Bright on and the lowest was our last home game only 21, 300. Now I hope it is just peak and troughs, but a shift of 12,000 is a lot of fans. We've just got to stay positive. Brian looks to be building for the future, but that won't wash with some people who for the past few years have wanted success. We are pretty much a work in project at the moment, but we'll come good.

First poster: behaviour breeds behaviour! Maybe fans don't want to keep posting negative thoughts! I for one pose questions and often vent my spleen on here but always try and maintain a glimmer of hope and positive thoughts ( as miss guided as they have been sometimes) but one thing we all have in common is that we want Leeds to be better, we want to win games and we all want the glory days back. The frustration, trials and tribulations are no different for any supporter of any club who has passion. keep the faith as one day we will be back! Come on Leeds MOT
