Use our rumours form to send us leeds transfer rumours.

The lack of postings here demonstrates the stagnation of the club and the fans. There is no passion, no excitement, just a passive hope that BMD is our saviour.
Nice chap but not for LUFC.
I have been a fan for 40 years and have never felt so negative for our future.

Never felt so negative really for the first time in a long time this season I've actually looked forward to going to elland road to watch my team play yes where not perfect but when leeds is in the blood you almost owe it to the club to turn up and back the team because they deserve our support mot.

Agree0 Disagree0

Original poster . 55 years a fan and I can't remember feeling so positive as I do now for such a long time. After the debacle we have witnessed for the past 10 years and even back to the suicidal days of Peter Ridsdale, just now feels different . and right.

Brian McDermott . "nice chap" and exactly what LUFC need to bring back some stability.

So your telling me you felt MORE positive last season under warnock? My god some people need a reality check of where we are as a club, yes I know we've heard it before but we are in transition and in my opinion this time it feels like it could work, not saying well be works beaters but it seems like everyone at the club is now all pulling in the same direction and that can only be a good thing, well nearly everyone apart from a few so called fans that think we should beat everyone and sign everyone. Bmd is the man to take us forward it will just not come over night

Agree0 Disagree0

It might be a little quiet on here because the transfer window has closed, we've signed a loan player (Blackstock) and signed one (Zaliukas). It's pretty much as you were until January. I was amazed to find out we used Pro-Zone for the first time against Huddersfield since we were relegated from the Prem League. Brian Mc is rebuilding this club from the bottom up. I know it's hard to take another season of mediocrity but, I get the sense we are at the beginning of a good journey that hopefully ends with us back in the top flight.

Agree0 Disagree0

Going to be at least one season of mediocrity and possibly next season too as BM gets rid of the deadwood from NW's squad and puts his own stamp on the team. Some of the players signed by NW I can see dragging there heels a bit and wait out the rest of there contract sitting on the bench or in the reserves which will limit out spending as there wages are on the books. Looking positive at the minute and better than anything in the last few years under KB, at least I feel GFH will spend some cash if its needed

Agree0 Disagree0

Does the highest attendances in the championship reflect negativity, the best away support in england, constant tv coverage, fans still singing Brian's name despite bad runs of form.
I think you need a reality check

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont think are home attendances are great to say the owners have slashed ticket prices I mean prices for tomoz are more than reasonable £10 for kids and £20 for adults what more do some fans want get behind the team and club

Agree0 Disagree0

An average of 25000 for a mid table championship team is pretty good. The only team better is brighton who have been faking their attendances

Agree0 Disagree0

As others have said there is no point in talking about transfers as not likely to be any until window opens. BM said as much in I/v this week. We have a big squad and quite a few out on loan. BM should be able to manipulate this squad to keep us in touch with the top 6 until the window opens. Then, if Premiership still a realistic prospect, owners will need to show that they can support the manager in his transfer dealings!

Agree0 Disagree0

Leeds have the 2nd highest average crowds this season behind Brighton, so it looks like the fans have faith. Still our highest was 33, 50 for Bright on and the lowest was our last home game only 21, 300. Now I hope it is just peak and troughs, but a shift of 12,000 is a lot of fans. We've just got to stay positive. Brian looks to be building for the future, but that won't wash with some people who for the past few years have wanted success. We are pretty much a work in project at the moment, but we'll come good.

First poster: behaviour breeds behaviour! Maybe fans don't want to keep posting negative thoughts! I for one pose questions and often vent my spleen on here but always try and maintain a glimmer of hope and positive thoughts ( as miss guided as they have been sometimes) but one thing we all have in common is that we want Leeds to be better, we want to win games and we all want the glory days back. The frustration, trials and tribulations are no different for any supporter of any club who has passion. keep the faith as one day we will be back! Come on Leeds MOT

I had a good idea that things were bad at LUFC with Ken Bates at the helm but not to have a scouting system in place? It does make you wonder if he had any intention of taking the club forward.
BMD has been a breath of fresh air, sorting out the many problems behind the scenes and trying his best to improve the playing staff and the football we play.
We are all impatient to move forward and nobody likes losing but please give BMD time to get the house in order.
He is the best manager we've had in a decade, it's going to take time to put things right but I believe he will. get behind him and the team. We are Leeds and we will return! MOT Ron.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

It beggars belief why would you not have a scouting system?

Agree0 Disagree0

If we don't beat Yeovil " best manager in a decade" will cut no ice with most fans. This site will be alight with negativity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Because bates couldn't care less wether we had a scout or not he screwed this club over bad time going to take time to build this club back up fans after be patient especially with mcdermott he is a top bloke and he will get it right in time mark my words

Agree0 Disagree0

I thought it was quite obvious we haven't had a scout since Mcallister was in charge. Why do you think a very low amount of young or foreign players have joined. I'm pretty sure a lot if championship clubs focus on their academy and not scouting systems

Agree0 Disagree0

We did sign a few gems under both mccalister and grayson johnson, gradel, snoddy, becchio. Somma just to name a few but I think that was more to do with them looking out for players rather than us having a proper scout.

Agree0 Disagree0

Johnson was signed by Mcallister, gradel was a free agent from Leicester, davide somma was a free agent and had trials with many clubs and becchio was signed by Mcallister. We need mcallister's scouts. They were amazing

Agree0 Disagree0

And snodgrass signed by Mcallister

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats why I said both grayson and mccalister signed these players don't make out like one manager got them because he dint johnson got sent out on loan under gary mac to brighton it was under grayson that he became the player he is today.

Agree0 Disagree0

Gradel wasnt a free agent at all he cost 300k from leicster he was graysons signing and his best one at that

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes I know Johnson became a good player under grayson, I was just reliterating the fact that scouts were non existent he left, to this day.

Max gradel was recommended to the club by paddy kisnorbo almost every other player under Bates came through gwyn Williams the only person Bates had any faith in!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bradley Johnson was signed by Dennis Wise. remember him?

Just driven to Leeds from Gloucester with my leeds mad daughter to meet Brian MCD and players at new concept store at the trinity. Image my disappointment when they failed to show and we had to leave the queue before my car parking ran out. Leeds utd representatives didn't keep anyone informed where the manager/players were and spent most of the time smoking and chatting to each other. Total disgrace and sums up what the fans actually mean to club. Complete amateurs.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

The pictures are on the web site of them there. The pictures were posted at about 1pm think so perhaps you got there too late?

Agree0 Disagree0

It was advertised as starting from 2pm and we were there well before and stayed well after. Given there was a big queue at the door waiting for their arrival at 2.30 I hardly think it was over by 1pm.

Agree0 Disagree0

I highly doubt the players were smoking. What a rediculous thing to say

Agree0 Disagree0

He said the representatives were smoking not the players....

Agree0 Disagree0

I put the 2nd post on based on what was on official site. If the event was supposed to start at 2pm then the gentleman who drove all the way from Gloucester is entitled to know what happened. Did he ask anyone? There are plenty of pictures, I/vs from the event so it obviously happened at a different time to that advertised. I would be annoyed if it had happened to me!
