After every game warnock says the same thing ' ive learnt more from todays game than the other games' cracks me up when i here it now ha

Believable3 Unbelievable3

He said this week that he cannot learn anymore about the group of players he has. You crack me up ha

Agree1 Disagree1

Anyone who can't learn 'more' usually means they can't be bothered to, and I think Warnock has given up on most of the current squad after the last few games - possibly because many of the players have given up on him/us.

I think the only thing Warnock has to learn now is how much money Bates is going to let him have, and how much he has to make up by selling/giving away those surplus to requirements....

Lets hope he hasn't 'learnt enough' to walk away before the start of next season, as his contract allows.

White injured for rest of season

Believable4 Unbelievable0

For a winger he just hasn't got that end product be good to give webber a good run of games

Agree3 Disagree0

Rodgers, Nunez and Webber all need games to show what they can do. Webber has had some game time and hasn't set the world alight but he hasnt played much over the last year so must give him time.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if we beat the impressive Reading on the weekend. We're like a schizophrenic team at the moment. Great away, shakier than Muhammad Ali using a jack drill at home.
It must be time for the youngsters to get a run out soon though and see what talent we already have.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

I wouldn't be surprised either, but I'm not betting my house on it, nor even the price of a pint.......

Agree0 Disagree0

Weve played better as the underdog and clueless when the odds were with us so i'm gonna stick my neck out and take a punt on us doing one over on reading then getting beat by derby on monday

Believable1 Unbelievable5

Agree2 Disagree0

Just shows how little quality we have in our squad if this is the best we can do.

Agree0 Disagree1

Rogers st ? hes a LM and white is injured,
is mccormack injured or do u not rate our best performing player at the moment
my team would be
lonergan (gk)

obrien (CB)
pugh (lb)
snoddy rm
thompson (CM)
brown (CM)
rogers (LM)
becchio (ST)

bench
......
robinson
bromby
nunez
webber
paynter

Agree2 Disagree1

I'd have McCormack up front and play with McCormack as striker with 2 attacking midfielders behind him and then the two wide mids being snods and White

Agree1 Disagree1

I wouldn't let Pugh near the team ever again

Agree3 Disagree1

Get Barn Door on. Why not. We've nothing to lose or gain anymore. So give him a go. It's not like we're scoring goals in abundance at the moment. Give Webber and Paynter a start

Agree1 Disagree1

There must be a place for Paynter on saturday? Maybe Reading need some barn doors hanging somewhere......

Agree1 Disagree1

Billy barn door? please dont. i know our seasons over but not paynter for christs sake the only person safe will be thier keeper

Agree2 Disagree0

There IS a place for Paynter on Saturday - because we play on Friday.

Just looking at these suggestions, really hits home that the current crop of players at Elland road are considerably weaker than when we were in League one. Its horrible to look at really, apart from a couple and to be honest embarrassing as a Leeds fan to look at that and not be pessimistic.

I agree with Warnock this season is a write off, bring on next year. However he's going to pull off near enough a miracle to rotate around 8 players both in and out and get them to gel in time for a promotion push season. I suppose if anyone can Warnock can. and i wish him all the best MOT

Snodgrass (RM)
Thompson (CM)

Pugh (LM)
Nunez (No.10)

ITK

Believable1 Unbelievable5

If that turns out, we'll get stuffed!

Agree2 Disagree1

Out of that lot I would start only 5/6-Lonergan Bromby Bruce Snodgrass and Brown and maybe Thompson

Agree1 Disagree2

No mccormack!

Agree2 Disagree1

McCormack showed just how lazy he was against Watford. Two physical central defenders and McCormack didn't fancy it. He is one of the players NW referred to when he said 'wouldn't run through brick walls for me'

Agree1 Disagree1

After the Watford game it appeared that none of the players would run through a brick wall- they wouldn't even run through tissue paper. 20 odd years ago Wilkinson put together a team with the sole intention of getting out of this division. I think this is what Warnock needs to do. He did it by bringing in experienced players that had played at the top but were coming to the end of their careers and they did the job that was asked even though they were probably aware that they wouldn't play again once promoted. When George Graham came in the first thing he did was look to bring in experienced players in order to steady the ship and save us from relegation. It is all well and good giving youth a chance but if we want promotion next season we need to look at experience.

would anyone else like us to sign lewis mcgugan or gareth mccleary from forest? im not sure about their contract time left, but they are both a bit too good for forest and should be playing for a team with premiership ambitions (leeds united).. thoughts?

Believable2 Unbelievable2

This is going to sound like your typical garbage post but here goes...

I live in Nottingham and have a family full of forest fans whio rate him hihgly. i used to play for the same youth team as McGugan (Pegasus YFC) and he could score driectly from a corner every time at 7 a side level, a real talent. however, he is known to have a stinky attitude and be lazy! i dont know him now but it was common knowledge at the time that Billy Davies told him to shed a few pound or sit and rot on the bench and he did nothing about it for months! he now looks in good shape and is lethal from set pieces but generally very lazy, i personally wouldn't have him at Leeds. having said that, if any manager can snap a player into shape i imagine it would be Warnock.

as for McLeary, i would prefer to take a punt on him but rumour has it that Norwich are sniffing anyway!? as he's a freebie soon i imagine Leeds will be way down the pecking order in terms of what clubs offer him a contract. it's also worth remembering that 6months ago this guy was a reserve/fringe player at forest and just cuz he's had half a season where he's shon - it might not be anything to go by....biggest example of that - Andy Carroll!

just opinion though.

Who else should we sign? Ricardo Vaz Te if West Ham get promoted because he played well against us twice?

I hope we do what Charlton did last summer, which is sell all the deadwood and replace them with decent players.

Believable4 Unbelievable2

And where has it got them...?

Oh yes TOP of the table.

We won't be doing that then, we much prefer to do it the hard way....lol!!
